[h2]New Spaceship: SS Interceptor[/h2][p][/p][p]The SS Interceptor is a high damage and agile spaceship with defensive components![/p]

[p]Along with the SS Interceptor there is also a new achievement for SS Interceptor Mastery that comes with its own avatar border.[/p][p][/p][p]That's a lot of lasers.[/p][p][/p][h2]New Unlockable Spaceship Secondary Weapons[/h2][p][/p][p]Every spaceship now has an unlockable alternate secondary weapon, so that's a total of 8 new secondary weapons. The new component is unlocked when reaching level 10 with a spaceship. We'll leave these new components for you to discover in Cosmula![/p][p][/p][p]The SS Protector can deploy drones now?![/p][p][/p][h2]Rebindable Controls[/h2][p][/p][p]We've improved the options menu and now you can rebind controls anytime when playing Cosmula. Rebindable controls are supported on both keyboard and controller.[/p][p][/p][h2]Balance Changes[/h2][p][/p][p]These balance changes addressing the heat capacity and cooling speed of weapons are to address the issue of charge weapons being very difficult to overheat. Along with this the spaceship stats in the menu have been adjusted to better reflect current and previous changes.[/p]

[h2]New Spaceship: SS Siphon[/h2]

The SS Siphon focuses on draining enemy shields, hull, and energy to your advantage!
  • Primary weapon: Charge Shield Siphon Beam
  • Secondary weapon: Hull Breaker Lasers
  • Utility: Energy Siphon Drone
  • Passive: Energy Harvester
  • Ultimate: Piercing Hull Siphon Laser


[h2]New Unlockable Spaceship Primary Weapons[/h2]

Every spaceship now has an unlockable alternate primary weapon, so that's a total of 7 new primary weapons. The new component is unlocked when reaching level 5 with a spaceship. Currently bots use random components that you have unlocked but this could be more customizable in a future update. We'll leave these new components for you to discover in Cosmula!

Here's a sneak peak at the SS Trapper's alternate primary weapon.

[h2]New Reactive Combat Cursor[/h2]

We've improved the combat cursor significantly so it looks better now and it responds to when hitting an enemy's hull or shield. The new reactive combat cursor is also supported on controller as well as keyboard!

[h2]New Achievements[/h2]
  • SS Siphon Mastery: Reach level 25 with the SS Siphon
  • New Component: Unlock a new component for a spaceship (will be automatically unlocked if a spaceship is already level 5)
These achievements come with their own avatar borders too!

[h2]Balance Changes[/h2]
  • Increased the speed of all spaceships slightly
  • Increased SS Laser single laser damage from 6 to 7
  • Reduced SS Destroyer Triad Lasers heat capacity from 20 to 18

  • Improved projectile collisions
  • Improved customize menu scrolling
  • The supporter border is now always visible in the achievements menu
  • Adjusted some spaceship engine and booster lights and effects

  • Fixed a bug that enabled beam weapons to be constantly enabled and disabled

Cosmula Update 1 Releasing May 24th

[h2]Key Features of Cosmula Update 1[/h2]

The main features of Cosmula Update 1 are a new spaceship and alternate primary weapons for all ships. In addition to these, the update also introduces a new reactive combat cursor, along with various fixes and improvements.

[h3]New Spaceship: The SS Siphon[/h3]

The SS Siphon is the newest spaceship available in Cosmula Update 1. It specializes in draining shields, hull health, and boost from your enemies. Here's a breakdown of its components:
  • Primary Weapon: Charge Shield Siphon Beam
  • Secondary Weapon: Hull Breaker Lasers
  • Utility: Energy Siphon Drone
  • Passive: Energy Harvester
  • Ultimate: Piercing Hull Siphon Laser


[h3]Alternate Spaceship Primary Weapons[/h3]

Every spaceship in Cosmula will now have an alternate primary weapon, unlockable by reaching level 5. These are the first alternate components in Cosmula—and we’ll leave them for you to discover when Cosmula Update 1 launches on May 24th!
