Backpack Battles Patch 0.9.33

Today we have another major update for you!



This update comes with 6 new items, new special rule options for lobbies and unranked games, different matchmaking options for lobbies, and a bunch of quality-of-life upgrades.

This includes the option to pick up multiple items with the green selection box, a ranking bonus when you rank up, and some fun animations here and there.

As usual, there are some balance adjustments coming with the new content, expect more in the following weeks reacting to the new items and their impact.

P.S: Yes, Steam achievements are coming with the full version :)

Test New Items & Custom Rules Now on Beta Branch!

[h3]Hi everyone,[/h3]
It’s time for another beta branch with new content!
There are 6 new items for you to test as well as some item reworks, new options for lobbies and custom unranked games, and a lot of fun little polish.



Please try out the new green selection box by right-clicking - it only selects items in your inventory instead of grabbing the bags.

We also overhauled the tutorial hints, so don't be confused when the shopkeeper tells you something you already knew. (And let us know whether it’s working correctly!)

[h2]The Beta Branch[/h2]

We have instructions on how to join the branch on our Discord server.

Please keep in mind that the goal of the beta branch is to find bugs and issues!

This patch is planned to go to main branch on February 14th, as usual with balance adjustments that are not yet in the beta.

P.S. Yes, achievements are coming with the full release - we are as hyped for them as some of y’all are!
