[h3]We're thrilled to announce the launch of our updated demo for Sigilfarer! 🎲[/h3]

Some of you might remember our previous demo, but as our game has evolved, we wanted to ensure that the demo reflects the latest mechanics and the fun of the current version. Dive in and experience the changes firsthand!

[h3]What's changed? 🤔[/h3]
- updated engine to UE 5.5;
- DLSS4;
- added hotkeys for dice in combat;
- added a new tutorial (it's more interactive, no more walls of text);
- tweaked UI;
- tweaked performance;
- locked dice will move to the next turn;
- you can't heal your characters (in combat) beyond the HP you enter the fight with;
- tweaked system and display of items that affect the dice to make it more clear;
- changes in configurations, loot, and items;
- other bugfixes and minor tweaks.

In the first 48 hours, there are special deals that only last a certain amount of time, like Early Bird pledges or an exclusive set of in-game clothing for your character that won't be available after this period!

In addition to the game, our Kickstarter campaign offers a variety of digital and physical goods, available only during the campaign. These include a digital soundtrack, an in-game caravan skin, and even dice trays and dice sets! 🎲

As we continue down the wandering paths on our sturdy cart, I wanted to share some thoughts about one of our companions—the Rogue.

Travelling with such a diverse group has been an enlightening experience, and the Rogue's unique skills have proven invaluable time and again.

The Rogue is a master of agility and precision, relying on swift dodges and counterattacks rather than the cumbersome protection of heavy armour.



In the heat of battle, the Rogue becomes a whirlwind of destruction, dealing massive damage to our foes. The Rogue has an excellent ability to infuse attacks with additional effects, such as Vampirism. This particular skill allows the Rogue to simultaneously harm the enemy and heal themselves, a truly formidable combination that often turns the tide in our favour.



Beyond the battlefield, the Rogue's talents extend to our camp life. Ever resourceful, the Rogue takes on the crucial role of scout, venturing into the wilderness to gather and hunt for food. This not only sustains us but also ensures that we are well-prepared for the challenges ahead. Additionally, the Rogue has a keen eye for spotting wild crystals, which are essential for charging our protective sigil. This sigil is our safeguard, shielding our caravan from the pervasive taint that threatens to overtake these lands.



Traveling with the Rogue has been a lesson in adaptability and resourcefulness. Their contributions are a testament to the strength of our group, and I am grateful for the opportunity to journey alongside such a skilled and dedicated companion.

Sigilfarer was created from the beginning by a group of dedicated fans of the roguelite genre. And you can feel the significant influence of top-tier games in the genre, such as For The King or Darkest Dungeon. Sigilfarer has another distinct twist that we wish to drive forward. The fully integrated dice-rolling mechanism distinguishes it from the expanding number of dice-rolling games.

We're launching a Kickstarter campaign to improve and polish the game, and we'd want to ask you, the community, to participate. The present status of development is solid, and you will have the chance to see the current progress of the game. Among others, we can highlight combat mechanic and inventory dependencies (weapons, clothes, other wearables, dice mechanic, game economy, core gameplay loop, in-game interactions with various NPC, caravan behaviour, procedurally generated map, all quests in the first world, camping mechanic and more).

The latest demo that we are working on right now will be available during Kickstarter to prove the mentioned status of the development, but there is more to come!

We need support to make Sigilfarer "complete" as we intended from the start. We still have a lot of quality upgrades in the works, and we'd like to add additional content to develop the gameplay and provide you more mechanics, in-game interactions, more enemies, boss fights, UI/UX overhaul, additional arts, extended soundtrack, translations and more reasons to keep you stay in the loop and progress your story while playing this roguelite adventure.

Not only that, but we can proudly declare that from a performance standpoint, the game is highly stable, and we're pleased with the current results of the performance and QA playtests we conducted in the past weeks, but owing to a shortage of art and design resources, the execution of some concepts took additional time and money.

Sigilfarer will be much better, with the ability to push the concepts and game assessments even farther. Aside from the technological aspects, we have a lot of additional in-game content planned for the most dedicated roguelite fans. Stay tuned for more information, we hope you'll join us in this journey! We'll reveal some secrets closer to the campaign launch! Date has not yet been announced.

As we prepare to launch Sigilfarer's Kickstarter campaign, both we, the developers, and you, the backers, stand to gain immensely from this collaborative effort. For us, it's a chance to bring our vision to life with the support of a dedicated community. For you, it's an opportunity to be part of something special, influencing and supporting a game you believe in.
