Update Announcement for Lost Castle 2

Dear Treasure Hunters,

First and foremost, the development team would like to extend our sincerest apologies.

Due to some slight delays in development progress, we regret to inform you that the content update

originally scheduled for October will now be postponed to November 6th. 🙇‍♂️🙏




But don’t worry, we’re here to share what’s coming in this update!

Highlights of the Upcoming Update:


[h3]The highly anticipated feature – Local Multiplayer Mode![/h3]

After this update, Lost Castle 2 will introduce a local co-op mode, allowing up to four players to

team up on the same screen for an exciting treasure hunting adventure!




[h3]Returning fan-favorite from Lost Castle1 – The Firearms[/h3]

We’ve heard your requests, and we’ve prepared around 30 new firearms (the dev team is working

hard to possibly add even more) for you to choose from. Get ready for some thrilling new weaponry,

including a wide variety of guns like:





[h3]New Mechanics and Cursed Treasures in the Cursed Area[/h3]

The cursed areas will now offer players the chance to exchange curses for special rewards.

Additionally, new Cursed Treasures will be added to the game.

【Cursed Treasures】 These treasures come with powerful effects, but they also carry certain curse

penalties that players must consider.



[h3]New Camp Additions and Purchasable Content[/h3]

We’ve done some redecorating around the camp! Now, players will be able to purchase special items

from the Goblin Merchant using in-game currency, providing new ways to enhance your starting

adventure.

We deeply apologize for the delay and truly appreciate your patience. The development team is hard at

work putting the final touches on the update and testing everything to ensure the best possible local

co-op experience.

v0.4.3.3 version update patch

Adjustments
1. Slightly reduced the overall damage multiplier for several black hole skills.
2. Optimized the follow-up performance for some single-handed weapon actions; slightly increased the damage multiplier for counter-attack shield strikes, slightly reduced the damage multiplier for shield thrust attacks derived from counters, and reduced the damage multiplier for shield thrust attacks derived from single-handed weapons.

Fixes
1. Fixed an issue where the "Storm Axe" dual blade skill did not trigger throw-related effects.
2. Fixed an abnormal hit reaction when the refresh rate is set below 60 FPS.
3. Fixed an issue where the treasure "Recycling Gloves" caused damage to the player when generating throwable items.
4. Fixed an issue where throwable items occasionally could not be lifted in online games.
5. Fixed an issue where the special attack module for the "Hero's Spear" and "Rock Thunder Spear" might not smoothly connect between actions.

Attempted Fixes
1. Attempted to fix an issue where camp buildings occasionally failed to take effect in online games.

v0.4.3.2 version update patch

Adjustments
1. Slightly increased the range of the single-handed weapon skill "Corrupted Parasite Shotgun."
2. Adjusted the bow "Demonic Longbow" skill: after fully charging, there will be a 3-second cooldown. Reduced the range and mana consumption of arrows fired without full charge.
3. Adjusted the charge attack animation for the single-handed weapon spear module.

Fixes
1. Fixed an issue where the dual-bladed weapon "Storm Battle Axe" consumed abnormal mana when using skills.
2. Fixed the treasure "Recycling Gloves," where the generated throwable objects would harm the character.
3. Fixed the Boss "Wandering Knight," where its throw skill didn't properly cause knockback.
4. Fixed occasional flickering of objects like barrels in multiplayer games.

Attempted Fixes
1. Attempted to fix an issue where the two-handed weapon "Heroic Epic" occasionally couldn't use skills.

Thank you for your patience! In the September Throwing-themed update, we’ve added 21 new weapons, 2 new sets of equipment, 15 brand-new treasures, and 2 hunter tools. We invite you to experience them together with your friends!

Adjustments
1. Adjusted the combo actions of one-handed weapons.
2. Reduced the damage from one-handed weapon shield counters and added a follow-up attack after a successful counter.
3. Reduced the shield value consumption ratio of the one-handed weapon enchantment “Absorb part of the damage with shield value when the shield is full.”
4. Reduced the range of the dual blades “Ironwood Blades” skill and slightly increased its damage.
5. Reduced the range of the dual blades “Meat Grinder” skill.
6. Increased the damage of the bow “Holywood Bow” skill.
7. Increased the focus points gained when hitting with the bow “Golden Warbow” skill.
8. Reduced the duration of the summoned acid spitter from the passive effect of the equipment “Gardener's Work Clothes.”
9. Increased the number of runes required to activate the additional effect of the treasure “Four-leaf Clover.”
10. Increased the number of runes required to activate the additional effect of the treasure “Endless Soul Crystal Pouch.”
11. Support for replacing hunter tools in stores and safe zones.

1. Fixed an issue where summoned creatures would occasionally walk out of the scene.
2. Fixed an issue where the camp's small dinosaur would occasionally walk in place.
3. Fixed an abnormal effect when using the potion “Eugene's Dangerous Reagent” multiple times.
4. Fixed an issue where some throwable objects in the scene would occasionally float into the air.
5. Fixed an issue where the two-handed sword tutorial could not be completed in the training room.
6. Fixed the dual blades enchantment “Continuously gain combo charge while moving, but reset combo charge when hit” from triggering abnormally after switching scenes.
7. Fixed the one-handed weapon enchantments “Increased shield bash damage when the shield is full” and “Absorb damage with shield and trigger perfect defense when the shield is full” not working after the shield was fully recharged through other means.
8. Fixed an incorrect display of weapon enchantment quality.
9. Fixed an issue where continuing a game could refresh the items in chaotic tools.
10. Fixed an issue where monster position synchronization was incorrect in multiplayer games.
11. Fixed an issue where clients occasionally could not see the boss “Demonic Overlord of Destruction” in multiplayer games.
12. Fixed an issue where lowercase letters in the room code could not be used to join a room.
13. Fixed an issue where treasures could still trigger during cutscenes.
14. Fixed dialogue errors with “Cautious Void Scavenger.”

Attempted Fixes
1. Attempted to fix the issue where the effect of the treasure "Snow Beast's Fang" was not triggering correctly.

v0.4.2.10 version update patch

Adjustments
1. Adjusted the calculation method and values for the "Void Armory Interference" investment in the camp to improve enchantment probability. Fixed display errors for these values.
2. In the third level, Crystal Mountain, it is now possible to carry throwable objects like barrels across the scene.
3. The strong charged attack for the two-handed sword module now only benefits from the Whirlwind Slash buff (for the axe and hammer module, the strong charged attack only benefits from the Charged Vertical Slash buff).
4. The damage increase effect of the Cursed Rune Shield on shock damage has been reduced to a base of 15%, with an additional 4% per activated rune.

1. Fixed an issue where adding new weapon enchantments could fail due to an anomaly.
2. Fixed a configuration error that prevented the "Four-Leaf Clover" treasure from functioning correctly and adjusted the global treasure drop rarity probability.

8. Fixed an issue where resuming the game could result in being stuck at 74% loading progress.
9. Fixed an animation anomaly that could occur after overloading the Turbo Lance.
10. Fixed a bug where quickly charging with the two-handed katana's normal attack would trigger the wrong charge attack action.
11. Fixed an issue where characters could become stuck in incorrect animations during online play.
12. Fixed a desynchronization issue when throwing teammates during online play.
13. Fixed an issue where monster turning animations might not synchronize during online play.
