πŸ› οΈ Lost Castle 2 - Hotfix Patch v0.6.2.3 is Now Live! πŸ› οΈ

[h3]We’ve just rolled out a new hotfix addressing some key issues and making adjustments to improve your gameplay experience. [/h3]

[h2]Adjustments[/h2]
  • The two-handed weapon inscription "Ironbone Brute" now increases Dash Strike damage by 70%, enhances charge value gained from hitting targets, and removes the Power Charge cap (related resonances have also been improved). The transition from Dash Strike to a charge action now occurs earlier.
  • The turbo lance inscription "Volcano Warrior" has been adjusted:
    • Increased the Shock Sweep damage multiplier from 130% to 160%.
    • Added a new Resonance II: "Heat Compression", which increases the pressure value gained from attacks and charges by 50%.
  • The turbo lance action "Kinetic Conversion" now grants 30 pressure value (previously 20).
  • Removed the "Combo Point Cap Reduction" enchantment from dual blades.
  • Changed the Phantom Lantern enchantment effect from "Phantom Energy Cap Increase" to "Phantom Energy Consumption Reduction".
[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]
  • Fixed occasional issues when creating rooms and matchmaking in multiplayer mode.
  • Fixed missing UI information for teammates in multiplayer mode.
  • Fixed an issue where rejoining after disconnecting in a cursed area caused abnormalities.
  • Fixed a bug where the Soulstone "Elixir Shield" occasionally caused the shield to decrease.
  • Fixed an incorrect numerical prompt display for the treasure "Trial Hourglass".
  • Fixed an issue where the "Icebound Wand" incorrectly granted shields when freezing boss-level monsters.
  • Fixed text display issues for Phantom Lantern enchantments.
  • Fixed incorrect damage statistics for Phantom Lanterns.
  • Attempted to fix an issue where the Staff inscription "Ethereal Mage" and dual-blades inscription "Blade Warrior" caused an unintended additional air dodge when using jump dodge.

- Reduced the number of dark magic projectiles and their frequency released by the boss "Steward the Demon Sealer" after recovering from the downed state in phase.


Bug Fixes
- Attempted to fix an issue where monsters could not be killed occasionally.
- Fixed an issue where players could join empty rooms when joining via the room list.
- Fixed an issue where the boss "Angry Thunder Spirit" would infinitely summon crystals during the initial phase.
- Fixed an issue where some visual effects of the boss "Angry Thunder Spirit" were displayed abnormally.

Our latest update introduces a brand-new weapon type, the Phantom Lantern, along with major online experience improvements and some much-needed balance adjustments.

[h2]✨ New Additions[/h2]
New Weapon Type: Phantom Lantern
  • Includes 3 modules and a total of 20 different Phantom Lanterns.
  • Features a new weapon inscription: Dark Flame Walker's Inscription.

[h2]New Cloth Armor: Phantom Feather Robe[/h2]

[h2]5 New Character Appearances[/h2]
  • 3 new facial patterns
  • 2 new hairstyles

[h2]Multiplayer Enhancements:[/h2]
  • Support for reconnection after disconnection.
  • Vote-to-kick function for online games.
  • Map transition readiness indicator – players who aren’t ready will have an hourglass icon above their heads.
  • Online room list now available.
  • Ability to add Steam friends during multiplayer matches.
Treasure Yield Tags – Certain treasures now display their benefits.
Local Multiplayer Improvements – Individual imprint configurations are now supported.

Rune System Adjustments
  • Removed all mechanics related to Rune Energy and adjusted treasure effects accordingly.
  • Rune Slash now activates based on accumulated action values from direct attacks.
  • Rune Bullet now activates based on MP consumption.
  • Rune Quake now activates on a time-based system and has 5 charges.
Parati Treasure Adjustments:
  • Rune Quake charge interval (10s β†’ 8s).
  • Exotic Beast Heart rune shockwave interval adjusted (20s/10s β†’ 12s/6s).
  • Parati’s Crown Rune Quake charge interval (15s β†’ 10s).
  • Ivilia’s Torrential Lantern cooldown (4s β†’ 2.5s).
  • Exotic Beast Skull: Rune Quake damage boost based on lost HP (72% β†’ 100%), trigger interval (2s β†’ 1.5s).
  • Holy Son Icon: Damage increase based on HP (35% β†’ 45%).
  • Puncture Seed adjusted to set a minimum damage threshold.
  • Each green rune now increases Rune Quake damage (4 β†’ 6).

[h3]Weapons & Combat[/h3]
Bows:
  • Thundering Ranger Inscription: Explosive Arrow damage multiplier (320% β†’ 290%).
  • Strongarm Archer Inscription: Special arrow bonus (30% β†’ 15%), charged arrow multiplier (650% β†’ 600%).
Turbo Lances:
Pressure Values Adjusted:
  • Weapon Strap pressure gain (20 β†’ 15).
  • Kinetic Conversion pressure gain (30 β†’ 20).
  • Holding special action +15% pressure gain.

Volcano Warrior Inscription Adjustments:
  • Shock Sweep: Cannon attack shots (8-11 β†’ 7-9), damage multiplier (168% β†’ 130%).
  • Thermal Splash: Full Attack pressure consumption reduced by 20%.
Dual-Blades:
  • Blade Dancer - Cicada Robe Inscription: Max shield cap (80 β†’ 60).
Hunter Gear & Items
  • Weapon Strap: Now directly uses secondary weapon switch attack, removed secondary weapon skill function.
    Cooldown increased (3s β†’ 5s).
  • Throwing-Type Hunter Gears (e.g., Bombs) can now be thrown directly using the Hunter Gear key.
  • Destiny Coin:
    Base damage multiplier (300% β†’ 250%).
    First rune activation damage (500% β†’ 400%).
Summoned Creatures
  • Reclassified Various Spirits as Summoned Creatures.
  • Increased base attack power and rune multipliers for summoned creatures.
Defense & Boss Adjustments
  • Defending actions can now block attacks from above.
  • Boss: Mad Gardener
    Spinning attack frame count reduced (10 β†’ 5).
    Adjusted attack range.
Other Adjustments
  • Camp Upgrade System: Some upgrades are now permanently active by default.
  • Damage Statistics: Overflow damage is no longer counted.
  • Camp Area Restrictions: Players can no longer share weapons or treasures in camp.

  • Fixed dual-blades incorrectly gaining jump attack buffs.
  • Fixed issues preventing game continuation after character death & revival.
  • Fixed incorrect rune value comparison display.
