Hi everyone! We're the team behind Grifford Academy, an empowering coming-of-age RPG set to release on PC in 2024! We wanted to give you our very first devlog to introduce you to the mystical book realm of Caldria, why we decided to make Grifford as well as news on an upcoming trailer!

Immerse yourself in Grifford Academy, a captivating RPG set within the mystical pages of a book realm. Shape the destinies of Erika, Viva, and Cap as their personalities evolve through your choices. Will they learn to embrace each other's strengths amidst the challenges they face?



The game will feature:

• A compelling coming-of-age story following three ragtag teenagers for an enriching family-friendly experience.
  
• Engagement that sees the player take an active and engaging role in growing and evolving their characters personality.
  
• No steep or intimidating learning curve. This game is built to be accessible, with deep and quick immersion.
  
• Equally satisfying combat and narrative, with memorable characters and meaningful story.
  

[h2]Where did the idea of Grifford Academy come from? [/h2]

The idea of Grifford Academy originated when lead developer Paul first introduced Dungeons and Dragons to his kids. Seeing their wide, excited eyes as they went on whimsical adventures, rescuing dragons and catching giant chickens, inspired him to bring this experience to the next level of immersion - video games.

This game is a love letter to his kids. He hopes that the story of Erika and her friends serves as a gentle guide for anyone finding their way around the frustratingly perplexing, yet beautiful world that is the teenage mind.
