[h2]Public Playtest Closed – A Huge Thanks to Our Players![/h2]
We also want to let you all know that the public playtest for The Deadly Path has officially come to an end, and we want to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who participated.

We greatly appreciate the time you spent playing the game and all of the thoughtful feedback that you provided. Your comments and suggestions are invaluable as we continue to fine-tune and enhance the game. We’re excited to take everything we’ve learned from this playtest and work on making The Deadly Path even better.

While The Deadly Path can be a cruel game, we thought we would show kindness to those of you who are unable to attend Gamescom but giving you the opportunity to play the same build we have on the show floor via the PlayTest functionality.

Simply click request access on the store page to jump right in and play The Deadly Path.



The playtest will have both Roiaan and The One Who Rusts ready and available to play along with a host of improvements to the UI and the roguelite systems.

[h3]The Maw[/h3]
A barbaric and highly omnivorous being, The Maw had to be taught to restrain itself by the Mother Of Tears during its early evolution.

Its constant desire to feed caused issues amongst its siblings, who resented having to share living space with its growling stomach and revolting physical presence.

The ascension to the surface world gave The Maw new hunting grounds in which to carry out its wicked practices. Here, it roamed freely, devouring the foul flora and fauna of Oscurandyth, acre by rotting acre.

It soon began to hunt and feast on the living, once the descendants of the First Crones began to populate the world in earnest.

For this, and for countless other reasons, The Maw came to be seen as the main evil among the mortal beings of Oscurandyth. It was the god they wanted to expel with the most urgency and contempt, and a large part of their motivation for joining forces with The Low Ones to enact the curse of banishment.
