Cooking Simulator is back – bigger, better. Create your own recipes and take advantage of new and improved controls to become the best restaurant cook in the city! Or just have fun and enjoy cooking at your own pace. You’re the chef here!🔥

We would like to invite you to our today's streaming with developers! At 4 p.m. UTC we see each other on our Steam page or Steam Next Fest page. You will be able to ask questions in the chat, we will try to answer all of them. At your leisure from questions we will also talk about our game. During the broadcast you will be able to see our developers and their gameplay in the Demo, which we encourage you to play! 🍽️

We've got some news to share with you all!🔥

Cooking Simulator 2: Better Together demo is available now during the Steam Next Fest 🍳🎮 Steam Next Fest is a multi-day celebration of upcoming games being held from October 9th to 16th, 2023. We’re a part of it and we’re showing a sneak peek of our new game! 👨‍🍳

We’ve been working on Cooking Simulator 2 for some time now and although the demo does not come with co-op mode yet, we’ve decided to show you some key features and mechanics that are in the core loop of the game. We have changed a lot compared to Cooking Simulator 1 and we are curious to know what you think about the new mechanics, especially a brand new feature - the blueprint system, which is a system for creating recipes! We know that you’ve been asking for this one! Remember that not all the features planned for the final version of the game are available in the demo and all the elements and mechanics you’ll see will be improved until the release of the full game itself.

🕹️ So what you can expect in the demo 🕹️

A new assembly station:
We want you to feel even more like in a realistic restaurant kitchen, that’s why we’ve designed a new assembly station where you’ll be able to put together dishes from previously prepared ingredients.

A new cutting system:
New cutting system is here to help you choose the cutting techniques and cut ingredients into equal portions.

Recipe creator:
We’ve developed a tool that works as an editor inside the game and it gives you the possibility of creating recipes and tweaking them according to the customer’s needs and orders.

Upgraded thermal treatment:
Our new system handles heat transfer within the ingredient. This means the possibility of preparing medium rare steaks!

Chef’s toolbelt:
Forgot where you put down a spatula? Now you carry necessary kitchen tools with you all the time.

Today we would like to share with you a Cooking Simulator 2 production update, we have decided to move it to the first half of 2024.

We’ve decided to postpone the launch of the game so it can make a bigger impact. We want to deliver the best culinary experience possible which you’ll be able to enjoy together with your friend. And we’re constantly working to make this happen.

We’re working on additional functionalities, in particular those related to the development of the co-op mode as well as some new mechanics, which are an important element of the game. Also, after examining the possibilities offered by the new version of the Unity engine, we made a decision to adapt the entire project to the new engine, which requires some extra time. With those few additional months you can expect an even more polished title upon the release.

Meanwhile, there will be a demo available on Steam soon! We also invite you to take part in the playtest that is coming this autumn – we look forward to your feedback on co-op functionality. 🎮

In the Cooking Simulator 2: Better Together at your disposal in the kitchen there will be more than 100 products – that's just counting the solids like meats and vegetables! Just imagine all the possibilities you’ll have to customize the dishes just the way you want to.

In Devlog #2 we would like to show you the process of creating 3D models of ingredients and tools that you’ll be able to use in the game. We pay a great deal of attention to the realistic aspect of all the elements. Each ingredient is carefully modeled by our talented graphic designers. They explore colours, textures and shapes to best replicate the ingredients.

Because we want you to have a lifelike experience while playing the game.
