Cooking Simulator 2: Better Together News

Hi Chefs!👨‍🍳

Today we would like to share with you a Cooking Simulator 2 production update, we have decided to move it to the first half of 2024.

We’ve decided to postpone the launch of the game so it can make a bigger impact. We want to deliver the best culinary experience possible which you’ll be able to enjoy together with your friend. And we’re constantly working to make this happen.

We’re working on additional functionalities, in particular those related to the development of the co-op mode as well as some new mechanics, which are an important element of the game. Also, after examining the possibilities offered by the new version of the Unity engine, we made a decision to adapt the entire project to the new engine, which requires some extra time. With those few additional months you can expect an even more polished title upon the release.

Meanwhile, there will be a demo available on Steam soon! We also invite you to take part in the playtest that is coming this autumn – we look forward to your feedback on co-op functionality. 🎮

In the Cooking Simulator 2: Better Together at your disposal in the kitchen there will be more than 100 products – that's just counting the solids like meats and vegetables! Just imagine all the possibilities you’ll have to customize the dishes just the way you want to.

In Devlog #2 we would like to show you the process of creating 3D models of ingredients and tools that you’ll be able to use in the game. We pay a great deal of attention to the realistic aspect of all the elements. Each ingredient is carefully modeled by our talented graphic designers. They explore colours, textures and shapes to best replicate the ingredients.

Because we want you to have a lifelike experience while playing the game.

We know that you have a lot of questions about our upcoming game, that's why we've been working on a series of devlogs to bring Cooking Simulator 2 much closer to you.
