Paris Transylvania on Steam Deck

We’ve tested it ourselves and the game plays smoothly with controller input. Performance is solid, and all core features work as expected. The only thing you might notice is that some UI text can be a bit small on the Steam Deck screen, we’ll adjust that if needed based on feedback.

No special setup or tweaks required, just download and play.

Paris Transylvania Update V.0.050

Hey everyone!

Here comes a small update that brings one new peg board to conquer, along with several usability improvements and minor fixes.

V.0.050 Update
New Peg Board! One more strategic layout to master.

Improvements & Fixes
  • Card Listing UI: Smaller cards in rows of five in card listing, for better overview.
  • Inventory Usability: The “Use” button now only appears when an item can actually be used.
  • World Map UX: Mouse wheel scrolling is now disabled when popups are open, to avoid accidental map movement.
  • Editor: Game keyboard shortcuts disabeled in editor mode.
  • Localizations: Human translations for Chinese traditional, Chinese Simplified, Japanese and Korean.

We've just recently split the demo into its own app, so you can now leave a review. Thanks for playing and keep sending us feedback, it really helps shape the game.

News Alert! v0.048: Music Is Here!

Hello everyone!

We’ve just finished the first world theme music for Paris Transylvania, “Valley of Shadows” implemented in 0.048.

After humming PT melodies for nearly three years during development, recording the ideas into voice memos I somehow ended up with 1,600 recorded melody snippets. That’s basically a full day of me just humming into my phone. :-)

The Big Art and Content Update is Here! Play the Demo!

I have been terrible at posting proper release logs and have been silently launching updates in the wolf hour instead. But here is a big update on what has been implemented. (TL;DR at the top, full details below)

I finally had time to polish the visuals and really unify the game’s look. The new style is darker, a little rougher, and much closer to the vibe we originally imagined. Several streamers and testers pointed out the background art as a highlight, so I decided to fully commit to that style.

Last but not least, big thanks to the roguelike deckbuilding community for all the feedback and ideas. Stuff like the Plushie, Fly Agaric, and Red Pepper exist because of you, keep the ideas and feedback coming and help shape the game before launch, it's closing in fast.

  • Visual Overhaul: The game now has a darker, rougher, and more cohesive art style with refreshed characters, environments, and UI to match the gothic-cartoon vibe.

  • Extra Wallet: Increases wallet by 1000. A portable treasure chest.
  • Plushie: Transfers 10 percent shield to the next round. Early days comfort.
  • Brass Knuckles: When dealing a new hand of cards, deals 100 damage to all enemies. A hand for a hand.
  • Clover: On board refresh, gain 30 shield. Lucky you.
  • Vampire Fang: When a monster is killed, gain 25 HP. Soul sip.
  • Cherry: Raises max HP by 100. The cherry on top.
  • Green Egg: Monsters spawn with 1 poison. A slightly cursed breakfast.
  • Shop Discount: Adds 10 percent to your shop discount. Shop till you drop.
  • Fortune Cookie: Transfers remaining mana to the next round. A bright future.
  • Pickaxe: On wall hit, hit one peg and restore one peg. Mine those walls.

  • Gemstone: On peg hit, damage increases by 1. Shimmers mystically.
  • Grenade: Explodes. On peg hit, deals 10 damage. Fire in the hole.

  • Spyglass: Adds one bounce to the trajectory. Best guess.
  • Blue Rose: When a monster is killed, gain 1 max HP. Healthy slow progress.
  • Wooden Stick: On peg hit, deals 10 damage. Stick shaped.
  • Space Rock: On peg hit, deals 20 damage. Random mana cost. Definitely not from here.
  • Severed Hand: On peg hit, deals 10 damage and deals a new hand of cards. Dearly missed.
  • Mega Eye: On peg hit, deals 10 damage. Huge.
  • Piggy Bank: On peg hit, deals 10 damage. When a monster is killed, gain 30 gold coins. Oink oink.
  • Toaster: On peg hit, deals 10 damage and electrocutes nearby pegs.
  • Builder’s Hat: On peg hit, deals damage based on card count. Keep building.
  • Double Axe: On peg hit, deals 10 damage to two enemies. Cutting edge technology.
  • Yarn Ball: A cat appears. On peg hit, there is a chance the cat deals 25 instant damage to a random enemy.
  • Anchor: On peg hit, deals 20 damage and applies 5 Strong.
  • Fly Agaric: On peg hit, deals 10 damage and inflicts 5 Poisoned.
  • Red Pepper: On peg hit, deals 10 damage and applies 5 Angry.
