🍕 A Quick Word on AI in Pizza Bandit

[p]Hey everyone,[/p][p]
We want to be clear about where we’re at with AI in Pizza Bandit.[/p][p]During our last demo, players told us (loud and clear 😅) that the AI VO wasn’t cutting it. We agreed and went out to work with real VO talent. Replacing it all made the humor and personality shine the way we always wanted. After that, we thought we had fully removed AI and turned the disclaimer off.[/p][p]Turns out we missed one spot: the jukebox in the lobby. It was added late by a dev so players had something fun to mess around with between missions — but it shipped without proper custom support and some AI content slipped in. With launch deadlines looming, our focus stayed on gameplay-critical pieces, and we overlooked it.[/p][p]Here’s where we’re at now:[/p]
  • [p]We’ve already started replacing what we can immediately.[/p]
  • [p]Some swaps will take longer, but the work is ongoing.[/p]
  • [p]We turned the AI disclaimer back on — and when we’re 100% confident, we’ll turn it back off.[/p]
  • [p]We’re already in contact with BGM composers, and their tracks will soon replace the existing jukebox content.[/p]
[p]And one more thing: our dev philosophy is perfection through endless iteration. That means along the way, things sometimes get added or changed without us fully tracking every placeholder. We’ve asked our community to call out anything that feels “off” — and we really appreciate you keeping us honest.[/p][p]This is also exactly why we’re going into Early Access. Your support directly helps us improve Pizza Bandit — making it more fun, more original, and more ours. Every bit of feedback, every report, every review helps us make the game better together.[/p][p]At the end of the day, we’re not here to replace artists with AI. We’re here to make Pizza Bandit the funniest, most chaotic stress-blowing shooter-chef game possible — with your help.[/p][p]Thanks for sticking with us. ❤️[/p]
