We’ve finally returned from the incredible Nordic Game game fest, and we’re bursting with excitement to share our experience with you! It was an unforgettable experience filled with learning, networking, and showcasing our latest projects.
Our Showcases
We were thrilled to present our games SOS OPS!, DLC SOS OPS! - GUNS N'OPS, and Last Hope Bunker: Zombie Survival. But that’s not all – we also teased a secret project that we can’t wait to reveal to you soon!
Our booth attracted a diverse crowd, from solo developers to industry veterans. Developers were curious about the physics and mechanics, while artists appreciated the visual style and design elements.
Engaging with Gamers
One of the most exciting parts of the festival was seeing players engage with SOS OPS!. We hosted a special mission for the event called IKEA, where players took on the role of a delivery person. It was a hit! Nearly 60 people tried the mission. The enthusiasm was infectious, with many eager to take on the challenge and succeed.
After-Parties and Networking
The festival wasn’t just about showcasing games; it was also a fantastic opportunity to connect with others in the industry. One of the highlights was an after-party hosted by Sharkmob, a studio based in Malmö. They welcomed everyone into their impressive four-story office for a night of barbecue, drinks, and a sneak peek at their upcoming game. It was a great way to relax and network with fellow developers.
A Well-Organized Event
The Nordic Game Festival was impeccably organized. Every detail was taken care of, from the layout of the stands to the amenities provided. Attendees enjoyed complimentary coffee and snacks, ensuring they had the energy to explore and interact all day long. The weather was generally great, though we did have to get used to the constant breeze!
