We've been reading all your messages, feedback, and even the occasional train-related pun (keep 'em coming – we love a good chuckle!), and we’re genuinely grateful for your support. But, dear passengers, our adventure is far from over! We're excited to share our plans for the future, bringing an even more enriched gaming experience in the months ahead.

• Mac Release Update: The Mac release of Ticket to Ride, initially planned for December, was postponed due to unforeseen challenges affecting the game's quality and performance in the final stages of development. We're committed to delivering a top-notch gaming experience and have decided to temporarily delay the release. For more details, please refer to this thread. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to release Ticket to Ride for Mac in early 2024.
  
• Skipping Animations: We have introduced a mode that allows you to experience the classic by turning off the in-game animations.
  
• Regular bug fixes: Experience smoother gameplay with our commitment to ongoing bug fixes.

• Mac Release: Ticket to Ride will be available for Mac in the first quarter of 2024, expanding the horizons for even more players to join our railway adventures.

For the very first time, you will not only choose your colours and characters, but you will also have the power to customise your locomotives and carriages, adding an extra layer of personalisation to your train adventures.


Pick your favourite colours and characters to represent you on the board. Whether you want to be a daring explorer, a strategic conductor, or someone else entirely - there are plenty of options to choose from.


Then, go a step further by designing your locomotives and carriages. Customise your trains with your preferred style and flair. Fancy a sleek and modern locomotive? Go for it. How about a vintage steam engine that screams nostalgia? It's your call. Your train, your personality, your style!

Marmalade Game Studio's AI in Ticket to Ride is far from your ordinary computer opponent. It has been meticulously crafted to mimic real players, ensuring that it challenges you as you progress through the game. Our development team put in countless hours studying and interviewing top players to create an AI that adapts, strategizes, and competes in real-time. The outcome is a dynamic AI system that delivers a satisfying gameplay experience for both newcomers and seasoned pros.


The secret of our Ai’s prowess? It doesn’t just play the game; it studies it. We’re using cutting-edge technology that allows us to run thousands of game simulations lightning-fast. It’s almost like teaching our AI through ‘‘experience’’. We pit AI against AI, refining their strategies based on thousands of trial runs.
