It’s Time to Head to Switzerland! ⛰️

Check your watch – the Switzerland Expansion arrives today in Ticket to Ride®!

Travel from border to border with photographer Ayla Vogel and watchmaker Elias Hartmann aboard the Splendid Smokestack or the Blizzardblaster. Take passengers on a scenic route upon the Golden Wanderer carriage, or head to new heights in the Barrelbahn carriage.

Connect Switzerland’s neighbours – Austria, Germany, France and Italy – to complete tricky country-to-country tickets and score big points. With limited nodes available for each bordering country, you’ll need to quickly adapt to the board as routes are blocked off. If you leave a country-to-country ticket incomplete, it’ll deduct points at the end of the game...


To celebrate the launch of the Switzerland Expansion, we’re also releasing the Winter Wonderland bundle! This bundle contains two new festive tokens called the Santa’s Wheels and Special Tree-livery, perfect for adding a little Christmas magic to your next game!

Mastering Country-to-Country Tickets in Ticket to Ride®: Switzerland

Ticket to Ride®: Switzerland Expansion introduces an exciting new mechanic – country-to-country tickets.

These tickets can mean big scores or deductions for players, so they need to be utilised effectively. Here are some tips and tricks to navigate the country-to-country tickets.

[h3]🗺️ Identify hub cities[/h3]
Take a look at the map and figure out which cities connect to multiple important destinations. For example, Zurich features on nine normal tickets and one of the four city-to-country tickets.

[h3]🔒 Lock or block[/h3]
Slow opponents down by blocking routes or locking them down for yourself! Shorter connections can make or break another player’s plans.

[h3]⭕ Secure country nodes quickly[/h3]
The bordering countries on the map have limited nodes, so if you’re aiming to complete a country-to-country ticket, make sure to grab the node you need early on. These routes also end at the country in question, making them a dead end; you’ll have to plan for that too!

[h3]🎫 Be realistic with tickets[/h3]
Country-to-country tickets can be a huge boost to your endgame total, but if you fail to complete them, they can also cost you the game. Consider where you are in the game before taking on a country-to-country ticket!

Patch Notes 1.6.2

Hello Travelers! 🚂

We’re rolling out update 1.6.2 with a host of fixes to smooth out your Ticket to Ride experience.

Here’s what’s been addressed in this patch:

🛠️ Bug Fixes & Improvements:
  • No more duplicate tickets appearing in certain games, especially in US Mega.
  • Completing tickets in Big Cities Europe will no longer freeze the game.
  • Corrected souvenir counts in San Francisco games for more accurate gameplay.
  • The Sea Lion Souvenir is still shy, but it won't hide behind trains anymore!
  • Lobbies will now start correctly after all players are ready. No more waiting around!
  • San Francisco souvenirs sharing the same route will no longer fight for the same counter.
  • Improved tunnel animations for a smoother visual experience.
  • Several improvements to iOS crashing issues.
  • AI behaviour has been polished, and some inconsistencies have been addressed.
