Top the Charts: Learn More About Leaderboards

Ready to prove you’re the ultimate railway master?

With the new Leaderboards feature, you can now build your rail empire while facing off against players worldwide in an epic race to the top. It's time to see if you have what it takes to dominate the tracks and claim your spot among the best!
How It Works
In our game, stars determine your rank and position on the leaderboard. Let’s talk about how you can use them to climb the ranks and show off your skills!
Ranked Games
Some game modes are now ‘ranked,’ meaning your performance in these modes will directly affect your rank, giving you stars each time you advance. You can earn stars on any map in single-player mode (for Single Player Leaderboard) and Online and Async modes (for Online Leaderboard).
Stars and Games Won
After each match, you'll gain or lose stars based on your performance compared to your expected position. This expectation is calculated using your rank and the ranks of your opponents.

You can also lose stars if you don’t perform well. This means a player who wins most of their 20 games will rank much higher than someone who plays 100 games but loses most of them, especially if they lose against players with lower ranks.
Climbing the Leaderboards
As you collect stars, you'll hit new milestones and your rank gets a shiny upgrade. Everyone starts at Bronze, but you can move up through the tiers as you get better. The ultimate goal? Reaching the prestigious Diamond rank!
Navigating Leaderboards
You can monitor your position on our Single-Player and Online leaderboards by navigating to the main menu's 'Leaderboards' section, which updates in real-time so you always know where you stand. The screen will display current season stats.

Each new season will offer a fresh start, resetting ranks and giving everyone a new opportunity to reach the top!
Upcoming Features and Improvements

Hall of Fame
At the end of each season, your stars will transfer to a Hall of Fame, ensuring that your efforts are recognised and not lost. To keep the competition fair and exciting, there will be a gradual decay in stars, giving new players a chance to compete.
Player Stats
We’re also considering adding a Statistics page where you can see your best-ever rank and star count. If there's enough demand, we might also provide access to the previous season’s data, but we will keep the community posted on this.

But it’s not all about numbers and ranks; it’s about pushing your limits and continuously improving. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a newcomer, the Leaderboards invite you to refine your strategies and reach new heights in Ticket to Ride!

Feel free to join us on Discord to share your feedback and suggestions and participate in events! We’re planning tournaments and many other exciting activities, and can’t wait to see you all there!

Available Now: Simplified Map and General Visibility Improvements!

You asked, and we delivered. As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance visibility in Ticket to Ride, we're excited to introduce a brand new way to navigate that's more intuitive and accessible than ever before.

A new, simplified map view, alongside numerous visibility improvements to the overall map design, is now officially LIVE!
What's New:

Simplified Map
Experience a new view of the game map that puts the focus on your strategy! The Simplified Map features a two-tone design that makes it easier to distinguish it from the tracks, along with new train token material and glow effects for improved visibility, all accessible through a convenient toggle function. Available across all map expansions, existing and future!

Enabling the Simplified Map

You can toggle between map views directly from the game settings:
 • Simply navigate to the ‘‘Settings’’ menu within the game.
 • From there, you'll find the option to toggle the Simplified Map on or off with just a click. It's as easy as that!
And the best part? You can adjust this setting at any time during gameplay. You have full control over how you view your journey – whether you prefer scenic routes or express travel, the choice is yours!
Enhanced Visibility (Default Map)
In addition to the Simplified Map, enjoy more playing space, increased clarity for map elements (including tracks and tokens), improved contrast with track shadows, and minimised visual effects in the default map for a more accessible yet immersive gameplay experience!
This is not our last stop.
Continuous improvement is the core of our mission, and we're already working on more visibility enhancements for all the maps based on your input.

We'd greatly appreciate it if you could take a moment to leave a review to let us know your thoughts. You can also join our Discord or Community Hub to chat directly with us and fellow players! Your feedback helps us understand what you love about the game and how we can make it even better.

See you on the tracks!
