It’s a deadly menace to whales, dolphins and other marine life. [/p][p]But it’s difficult and expensive for fishers and other ocean users to dispose of gear they find at sea, or even to responsibly get rid of their own gear at the end of its life.[/p][p]It is a massive problem, and so WDC are working on innovative solutions.  [/p][p]

Head to the Land of the Rising Sun and meet travel blogger Nakanishi Kimiko and Gyōji Moriyama Isamu, your two new playable characters in Ticket to Ride. Explore Japan, from Hakodate to Naruta and then across to Kokura, aboard the Ichi Eki Saki and Tsuki Sleeper train and carriage, or speed along aboard the Isogaba Maware and Hayai Carriage.



As always, you’re aiming to build your own routes to complete tickets, but in the Japan Expansion, you also have access to the Bullet Train network! This takes the form of a shared pool of train pieces that all players can use to create Bullet Train routes. Any player can use these routes to complete their tickets!

[h3]The next expansion for digital Ticket to Ride is on the horizon, and it’s a first for the video game version of the modern classic board game. [/h3]

Ticket to Ride: Japan Expansion will bring a new style of competitive gameplay to the virtual table. Not only will you be competing against other players, but you’ll be working alongside them, too, to build the shared Bullet Train network. This unique mechanic sees everyone work together to create routes that can be used by any player to complete their tickets.

You can, of course, choose to go it alone and not contribute to the Bullet Train routes, but doing so will cost a hefty 20 points!
