Developer’s Diary #32

[p]Brave Ones![/p][p]We are pleased to present a new issue of the "Developer’s Diary"![/p][p]For all those who thirst for knowledge about what changes and innovations await the world of Singoru in the near future, we are ready to lift the veil of secrecy.
In this issue, we will tell you about three new heroes who will soon rise to defend the world, as well as about improvements to Jabir![/p]

New Hero – Idren
[p]Surviving fire, water, and a fall is easy. The hardest thing is dodging a brick.[/p][p]
In his past life, Idren was just an ordinary student gamer. By day he slept through lectures, at night he saved virtual worlds while trying to survive in adult life, which, to be honest, wasn’t really waiting for him. Outwardly he didn’t stand out, but his mother loved to say that their family was full of shamans and witches. He himself took it with a smile, until fate decided to check whether there was indeed a “magical vein” in him.
First he was thrown off a bridge — he swam out. Then his house burned down — he survived. It seemed the guy was almost immortal. But it all ended with a brick falling on his head. Yes, a completely ordinary brick. “Ironic,” Idren managed to think, and immediately realized that he had not been allowed to die after all.
Aether decided that such a persistent specimen deserved a second chance. The new world greeted him with a new appearance, which Idren wasn’t thrilled about, and with powers that could only be called an “upgrade.” Now he can summon an astral owl, devourer of others’ knowledge, and control the elements. The element of earth became his main ally, while fire, water, and air only gave it even more power. Spells turned into small catastrophes, and enemies — into extras for his training.
There is a price. Everything not connected to the elements became useless, and Idren had to accept it. But he wasn’t upset. Why waste time on trifles when you can cause an earthquake under the feet of your enemies?[/p][p][/p]

New Hero – Incenda
[p]Ironically, of course: she dreamed of writing a story, but in the end she has to live it.[/p][p][/p][p]In her past life, she was a literature teacher. Strict, passionate, and forever in love with books. Detective novels, horror, teenage stories — for her, every story had its own zest. Naturally, she dreamed of her own: about a strong fairy with the gift of the Phoenix, who had to save his child.[/p][p]It sounded beautiful… until life decided to create a literary twist. An earthquake, a shelf, a suddenly heavy book, darkness. Death from a literary theory reference book… even Shakespeare would not have dared to come up with such a thing.[/p][p]But Aether decided that the story deserved continuation. Regaining consciousness, she found herself in the body of that very fairy who lived on the pages of her imagination. Her first encounter with the world was not too friendly: a crowd of monsters and complete confusion. In despair, she tried shouting spells from books, hoping at least one would work. Naturally, it didn’t.[/p][p]Then came a simple gesture — a wave of the hand. And a fireball incinerated the first enemy. The next attempts were far more convincing: monsters burned, bit weakly, and her wounds closed in the flames. This is how the power of the Phoenix revealed itself. She fell, returned from the ashes, and, to her surprise, felt stronger every time.[/p][p]Now Aether keeps her between worlds until a new summon comes. So the literature teacher turned into the heroine of her own book.[/p][p][/p]

New Hero – Yoruhime
[p]The irony is that fate also loves to play — but only by its own rules.[/p][p][/p][p]In her past life, she made her living from others’ secrets. A fortune-teller who could play with words so that people themselves told her everything they wanted to hear. “I see your thread of fate,” Yoruhime liked to repeat, secretly laughing at how willingly clients believed her performance. But fate, as it turned out, has a sense of humor and does not tolerate mockery.[/p][p]When that very thread broke, Yoruhime awoke in a new form. Aether turned her into a yokai-spider, for whom “threads of fate” were no longer a beautiful metaphor. Now they bound enemies for real, restricting their movements and leaving them defenseless.[/p][p]In her new form she gained other “gifts” as well. Her breath became poisonous, as if Aether himself had filled the air in her lungs with poison. From the shadows slipped small spiders — children of her rage, explosive and restless, as if death itself whispered commands to them. Where once there had been words and predictions, now there was only the crackle of crawling legs.[/p][p]Yoruhime’s victims found themselves in a web, waiting for the moment when she decided to taste their strength. In those moments her body filled with power, her movements became faster, her strikes more furious. And she herself seemed to find in it not only power but also perverse pleasure.[/p][p]Once she only pretended to be the mistress of destinies. Now she truly pulls their threads, ironically smiling at the fact that her old clients received the most accurate prediction: no one escapes fate.[/p][p][/p]

Jabir and summoned creature improvements
[p]Sometimes fate whispers: “you are not alone” — and on the battlefield appear those very companions who are ready to fight alongside the hero. But, as practice showed, sometimes these companions preferred… to stand and lazily scratch their armor.[/p][p]We heard your requests and decided to shake them up.
In the next update, the speed of summoned creatures will be increased for all heroes.[/p]
 • [p]Skeleton: from 1 → 1.2 (will crawl out of the grave faster)[/p]
 • [p]Ifrit: from 1 → 1.3 (flame doesn’t wait, flame burns)[/p]
 • [p]Air Elemental: from 1 → 1.5 (literally wind at its feet)[/p]
 • [p]Golem: no changes (already tough, stone doesn’t run — it crushes).[/p]
[p]It should be noted that each creature had its own modifiers, and they will remain unchanged. Now their role will become clearer: summoned warriors will not idle but will respond more lively to the call of battle.[/p][p]And what about Jabir himself?
His power will also grow. At level 125 his stats will look like this:[/p]
 • [p]Health: 9062 → 10007[/p]
 • [p]Attack: 906 → 1000[/p]
[p]Aether will soon give him resilience and fill his lamp with light. Jabir will remain the same summoner, but will gain more health, stronger attacks, and, most importantly, more agile allies.[/p][p]Very soon you will have the chance to see for yourself: even skeletons can run faster if fate grants them a second wind.[/p]

[p]That’s all for now! Follow the news, because there is still much more interesting to come! In the meantime — share your impressions and expectations in the comments. Forward, Brave Ones![/p]
