Developer's Diary #28

[p]Brave Ones![/p][p]We are happy to present a new issue of the Developer's Diary![/p][p]For those who crave to know what changes and innovations await the world of Singoru in the near future, we are ready to lift the veil of mystery.
In this new issue, we will tell you about one of the new heroes appearing in the Pure Soul Portal, as well as the rework of Jabir and a new summoned creature.[/p][p][/p]
New Hero – Singward
[p]Singward was a paladin from the Priory Temple in the mountains of Snowdonia — a place where cold and rain were more reliable than prayers. His goddess had no name, and that seemed to suit everyone just fine. No name — fewer arguments.[/p][p]He wasn’t a fanatic. He did what he was told: punished, burned, scourged. Not out of cruelty, but out of practicality — in the 13th century, there wasn’t much of a choice. His faith was as straight as the road to the gallows: the goddess gave an order, he obeyed. Doubts were for those who lived to old age.[/p][p]One day, he was ordered to eliminate a peasant who proclaimed himself “the goddess’s son.” Singward silently donned his black armor, took up his axe, and walked out the door.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]And tripped. On a wet stone by the threshold.[/p][p][/p][p]The axe slipped. The blade tilted upward. He fell — straight onto it. No battle, no glory. Only rusted metal and a stupid end.[/p][p]But death is not always the finale. Sometimes it’s just a scene change.[/p][p]Singward awoke in another world. Neither light nor dark accepted him. He was devoured by the Aether — silent, ancient, as if the very air remembered him. It gave him a body — familiar, but changed. Power was no longer granted from above. It lived within him.[/p][p]Now his strikes didn’t just cut — they shattered. The blood of enemies flowed endlessly, as if it no longer believed in healing. Wounds wouldn’t close, fear preceded pain. Singward became faster, sharper, and his signature move — a circular axe slash — became a dance of death. Swift, bloody, efficient.[/p][p]But the most terrifying thing was his blood.[/p][p]If he was wounded, it came alive. It ran along the ground, waiting. If an enemy stepped into it — the torment began. Old scars reopened, new ones appeared by themselves. And Singward — healed. As if every strike filled him, and every drop returned with interest.[/p][p]— “Thank you, my lady… for this rebirth,” — he whispered.[/p][p]What did he mean? New flesh? New strength? Or the old right to be cruel?[/p][p]No one asked. And it was better that way.[/p][p][/p]
The Cyber Paladin Who Kept His Faith!
[p]In Singoru, where enemies outnumber fields of grain, Singward fought tirelessly. His axe shattered flesh as stubbornly as he himself — without rage, without mercy. Faith remained in him, but it no longer needed words. Only action.[/p][p]But even strength born not of gods but of man has its limit. That day, the monsters didn’t come as an army — but as a storm. There were too many. Even he couldn’t withstand them.[/p][p]He fell, drenched in blood, as consciousness faded. Somewhere in the darkness, he glimpsed a man with silver hair and glass over one eye. A voice echoed like a tomb. Light. Pain. Then — nothing.[/p][p][/p][p]He awoke in a new body.[/p][p][/p][p]Before him stood that man — his name was Nicolas. A scientist. He had found Singward nearly dead and rebuilt him — bone by bone, thought by thought. The ordinary body was gone. In its place — armor. Cold, intricate, alien. Without it, Singward died. Inside it — he lived.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]At first, the body wouldn’t obey. Metal wasn’t skin. Movements were jerky. The axe — as if held by new hands. But in time, he learned not just to use the armor — but to be it.[/p][p]Singward didn’t become someone else. He simply stopped being limited. His soul remained unchanged — faithful, straight as a blade. And his faith, having passed through two deaths, grew stronger.[/p][p]He was ready for battle once more. The shell had changed — but not the essence. He was still the same paladin. Only now — alive against all odds.[/p][p][/p]
Hero Rework – Jabir
[p]Jabir was once hailed as the greatest master of living flame — until Roxy appeared. A young demoness, gifted with fiery power without a single day of training. Her natural talent surpassed all of Jabir’s achievements, earned through years of dedication — and it was an unbearable humiliation.[/p][p]In search of a new weapon, he turned to ancient legends of a powerful artifact granting dominion over fire. His journey led him through dense forests, icy mountains, and even a gloomy graveyard, where he met the Headless Thomas.[/p][p]Finally, in the desert lands that had swallowed many a brave soul, Jabir discovered an ancient temple. After many battles with its guardians, he found an unusual lamp. When he wiped away the dust, a blazing spirit appeared, scorching his eyebrows.[/p][p][/p][p]The spirit called itself Ifrit, and offered not three wishes — but something greater: the ability to summon its power in battle. But to fully unlock Ifrit’s might, Jabir had to find a special way to manifest himself in combat. Now he had a chance to prove that mastery earned through hardship could surpass any natural gift.[/p][p][/p]
New Minion – Ifrit
[p]In ancient scrolls, secret manuscripts, and tales passed by word of mouth, he is known by many names. Spirit of Fire, Lord of Flame, the True Djinn — all these titles are his, but only one name does he accept as true — Ifrit.[/p][p]In lands scorched by relentless sun, where sands guard millennia-old secrets, legends of him are told. Some say he is the keeper of deepest desires, capable of granting the impossible. Others, trembling with fear, whisper that he is the harbinger of the world’s end, a spirit who will one day raise flames so great they will consume the world — to create a new, perfect one.[/p][p]Ifrit is a child of primordial fire, a being whose very essence is flame. In battle, he is like the sun incarnate descending to earth. His attacks are not mere strikes, but torrents of pure flame, incinerating anyone who dares to stand in his path. Yet this is but a fraction of his power.[/p][p][/p][p]When Ifrit returns to his true form, when his strength peaks, he becomes the element of fire itself. His very presence is a storm of flame, able to reduce entire armies to ash. Any who draw near will face the full wrath of his fury — for to oppose him is to challenge the heart of fire itself.[/p][p][/p][p]In his eyes, eternity flickers. In his breath, the whisper of ancient times. He is the embodiment of power, wisdom, and wrath — a spirit whose name strikes fear even into the bravest. Ifrit, Lord of Flame, keeper of secrets and destroyer of worlds — the ancient Djinn whose name echoes across existence.[/p][p][/p]
Star Coins
[p]Important news for all Brave Ones![/p][p]We are almost finished with a complete rebalancing of the in-game market. Developer Diary #27

[p]Brave Ones![/p][p][/p][p]We are pleased to present a new issue of the Developer Diary![/p][p]For all those who crave knowledge about the changes and innovations awaiting the world of Singoru in the near future, we are ready to lift the veil of secrecy. In this new issue, we will show you a new portal, introduce the new heroes who will appear in it, and their appearances![/p][p][/p]
New Portal
[p][/p][p]They died…[/p][p]Elai’s last breath dissolved in the poisonous mist. Tordi fell into an eternal slumber in the snowy mountains. And Roxy… well, more on her later. But instead of oblivion—a radiant rift where the Ether whispered: "Step through."[/p][p][/p][p]Passing through the gates became a new birth. Poison became an extension of Elai. Frost bowed to Tordi. Fire reignited within Roxy.[/p][p]The Ether calls new chosen ones. Whose spirit is strong enough to accept the gift of rebirth? Whose story will begin beyond these gates?[/p]

Elai – The Poison Keeper
[p]In her past life, Elai was a humble healer from medieval China, a lover of herbs, ointments, and reckless experiments—especially on herself.[/p][p]Elai wasn’t just a poison expert—she was literally made of them. Years of self-testing turned her body into something between an apothecary and a toxic swamp puddle. When she invented a universal antidote and proudly drank it, everything went exactly as planned. The antidote did defeat the poison. Except the poison was her body. So the antidote, following its instructions perfectly, completely neutralized Elai. No side effects.[/p][p]Fortunately, death turned out to be temporary. Elai awoke in a new world, more energetic than ever, with a crossbow in hand and an even greater passion for poisons. Now she’s a heroine who literally radiates toxicity. Any monster daring to get close starts bubbling within seconds. And those who keep their distance? She can reach them with her trusty crossbow—loaded with thunderbolts. Poisoned ones.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]How does poison even work through lightning? No one knows. Elai says: "Alchemical secret." Then she winks. Very suspiciously.[/p]

Herbal Experiment
[p][/p][p]While battling in the grim walls of laboratories, Elai discovered intriguing records on alchemical experiments with mutagens derived from plant-based poisons. This experiment fascinated her—new knowledge, after all.[/p][p]She spent long nights hunched over a new formula. Dozens of sleepless nights, thousands of failed attempts, hundreds of liters of tea laced with a drop of poison (for strength) finally bore fruit![/p][p]The experimental concoction "Stem #3826" was ready—a thick, murky liquid smelling of fresh roots and milk oolong. As always, Elai tested it on herself first. Three minutes later, she was lying on the floor, bubbling, with a sprout growing from her ear.[/p][p]When she woke up, she was no longer herself. Her skin became smooth as petals, vines coiled around her. Plants grew around her on their own—sometimes too aggressively. Rumor has it she sometimes turns into a flower. But only when no one’s watching.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]

Roxy – The Fiery Hellion
[p][/p][p]"What awaits me after death?" Roxy spat at such nonsense. Her life was a whirlwind—parties, brawls, insane parachute jumps—anything that made her blood boil. If someone gave her a dirty look? They’d get a fist to the face. Easy as pie.[/p][p]But fate? A real bitch. In another brawl, someone stuck something sharp in her—maybe a knife, maybe a shard from the bottle she’d just smashed over the offender’s head. And just like that, she was on the other side.[/p][p]"What awaits me after death?!" Roxy smirked. "Screw you all! Now I’m an immortal queen!" she roared, admiring herself in the mirror.[/p][p]Singoru gave her everything she ever wanted: eternal adrenaline, a killer look, and superpowers. Summoning demons to explode in enemies’ faces? Easy! Throwing Molotovs that burn brighter than some mage’s spells? Child’s play![/p][p]"Embrace me, new world—the great and terrible hellion…" she mused. "Or maybe… Super-Arch-Hellion-Flame Empress, Mother of Fire, Head-Smasher…" She burst out laughing. "Got a bit carried away."[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Well then, Singoru, get ready! The rebel hellion has arrived to turn your world upside down! Let all hell tremble![/p]

Returning to Roots
[p]"What if… just for fun… I become human again? Like the good old days—skin that doesn’t burn in the sun, nails that don’t cut metal?"[/p][p]Honestly, the idea wasn’t genius, but Roxy was hooked. First, she tried concentrating—maybe her inner human would emerge. It didn’t. Then she tried old phrases: "Sim-salabim," "Shazam!" "Moon Prism…"—no luck.[/p][p]But Roxy doesn’t give up. She kicked open the nearest tavern door, scanned the room, and spotted a suspicious guy in a shiny vest, with cartoonish mustache and the gaze of a seasoned magician.[/p][p]"You, fancy-shirt wonder—a mage?" Roxy loomed over him.[/p][p]"Of course, child of flame! I am the Magnificent Illusionist!" he declared, flourishing a handkerchief that released a dove.[/p][p]"I need to turn human again. Without all this." She pointed at her horns, tail, and other bonuses.[/p][p]The mage (or illusionist—hard to tell) flashed a dazzling smile, waved his hands three times, and shouted:[/p][p]"Akhalay-Makhalay-Baraboom!"[/p][p]He coughed, spat, and vanished in a puff of confetti.[/p][p]Roxy was already summoning a three-tiered selection of curses when she noticed—her skin was lighter, her nails normal, her tail gone! She rushed to a broken shop window, looked at herself—good old Roxy again! Well, almost. Her hair was better. And her skin glowed.[/p][p]"Akhalay-Makhalay, seriously?!" she yelled into nowhere. And of course, she smiled.[/p][p]Widely. Like a human. And like a demon. Simultaneously.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]

Tordi – The Boy Who Froze on the Path to His Dream
[p]Once, there was a boy named Tordi who adored the stars. One day, he decided to steal a star from the sky. His parents laughed:[/p][p]"That’s like trying to catch the moon with a butterfly net!"[/p][p]But Tordi was stubborn. At night, he climbed the mountains. The cold pierced his bones, but he didn’t give up. By morning, he collapsed from exhaustion… and woke up with the magical power of ice![/p][p]Suddenly, a monster leaped from behind a rock. In panic, Tordi shot icicles—and a skating rink formed beneath the monster. It slipped so spectacularly even Tordi giggled.[/p][p]In the valley, Tordi met a creature like an ice statue. It moved… and talked?[/p][p]"First time here?" asked Jack.[/p][p]"Yeah," Tordi replied.[/p][p]"Welcome to Singoru! Here, we ice guardians protect the world from evil."[/p][p]Since then, Tordi and Jack became a team. Rumor has it, if you climb the mountain, you can see them circling monsters, freezing them faster than grandma makes compote.[/p][p]And the star? Still in the sky—proud of its brave admirer.[/p][p][/p]

The Ring That Granted Power
[p]In the distant reaches of Singoru, where impassable peaks scraped the heavens and eternal ice gripped the land, the brave Tordi wandered. Deep within an ancient temple hidden among glacial halls, he discovered a wondrous artifact—a ring encased in ice, yet radiating strange, inexplicable warmth.[/p][p]The ancient relic granted its wearer the power to change forms. Of all possible shapes, Tordi chose the guise of a humble wanderer—he liked its unassuming nature. Now, he could walk among mortals without losing a shred of his icy might.[/p][p]Even as a young traveler, an unseen frosty haze surrounded him, hindering foes. None knew that beneath the guise of a simple drifter lurked the master of frost and cold.[/p][p]"If only my old man could see me now. He wouldn’t believe it," Tordi sometimes chuckled, watching his enemies’ baffled faces.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]

[p]That’s All for Now![/p][p]Stay tuned for more news—there’s plenty more to come! For now, share your thoughts and expectations in the comments. Onward, Brave Ones![/p]
