This event applies to all difficulties of Castle Bran and Ridge, including Hardcore mode. The chances of obtaining Legendary gear increase with the difficulty level you choose and as you progress through the bosses. For example, on Anomalous difficulty at Ridge or Castle Bran, you’ll have the highest chances of earning Legendary rewards.

And that’s not all! Additionally, by defeating the final boss on any Hardcore mode difficulty in the Ridge or Castle Bran locations, you will be guaranteed to receive a Legendary weapon!
