Developer Diary #23

Brave Ones!

We are pleased to present a new installment of the "Developer Diary"!

For all those who crave knowledge about the changes and innovations awaiting the world of Singoru in the near future, we are ready to lift the veil of mystery. In this issue, we will talk about the second (in order but not in importance) game mode and new weapons. We’ll also share new screenshots of the mobile version of the game!
New Mode: "Invasion"
Ready for a real challenge? We present the new "Invasion" mode—dynamic, intense, and requiring not just strength but also strategy. This isn’t just additional content; it’s a full-fledged trial.
Availability and Difficulty
This mode is available on all locations, but accessing it requires completing certain conditions in the normal and hardcore modes. For example, to unlock the "Easy" difficulty of the "Forest" location in the new mode, you’ll first need to clear the "Easy" difficulty in the "Graveyard" of the normal mode. But don’t worry—you won’t have to guess which stages and difficulties need to be cleared: the game provides hints to guide you!

The difficulty levels in the new mode range from "Easy" to "Hellish." The higher the difficulty, the fiercer the enemies and the richer the rewards.

But don’t be fooled by the name: even the "Easy" difficulty in the "Forest" location will prove to be a serious challenge—it’s comparable to "Hard" in the normal mode! So don’t expect to relax.
New Gameplay: Race Against Time
The standard rules no longer apply—now every match becomes a special operation to eliminate the threat:
At the start of the game, portals appear on the location—black stone structures pulsating with an alien purple energy. Their light doesn’t illuminate—it corrodes the mind, filling it with visions of inhuman landscapes and the whispers of ancient entities. The longer you look, the clearer you feel—something beyond the thin veil of reality has already noticed you. Are those voices in your head, or is it just the blood pounding in your temples?

You have 5 minutes to destroy the portal and defeat its guardians—Ethereal Hounds.

The higher the difficulty, the more stages there are: from one to three, each lasting 5 minutes. Fail to complete them in time? Defeat.
Let’s take the "Easy" difficulty as an example: as soon as you spawn, a countdown timer starts. Portals appear on the map, and within the allotted 5 minutes per stage, you must destroy the creatures emerging from them. If the portals or the hounds aren’t destroyed by the time the clock runs out—defeat is inevitable.

In this mode, it’s crucial not only to quickly eliminate enemies and portals but also to plan your route precisely to stop the invasion of the ancient gods in time!
Who Are the Ethereal Hounds?
These aren’t just enemies—they are alien beings guarding the portals. They emerge in a blinding flash from the portals and attack without hesitation. Their goal is to stop you at any cost.

The Ethereal Hound descends upon its prey in a whirlwind of lethal movements: its body seems designed for powerful lunges, and its claws slice through even the toughest armor. Beyond sheer physical strength, you must also beware of the slime it can spew if the fight transitions to long-range. And that’s far from all the tricks the Ethereal Hound has up its… sleeve.
The Final Showdown
If you manage to destroy the portals, at the end of each stage, you’ll face the location’s boss. This is the culmination of the trial—a test of endurance before the well-earned reward.
Why Play "Invasion"?
First, to protect Singoru! The portal isn’t just an anomaly—it’s a gateway for invasion, through which the Ethereal Hounds enter the world. If left unchecked, the threat will spiral out of control. Every victory in this mode is a step toward saving the world from an extraterrestrial invasion.

And second… the rewards!

 • More construction materials;
 • More runes for the Academy;
 • A trial for true heroes—only the strongest can withstand this threat.
New Weapon: "Harmony of the Wind"
The workshops of the Heavenly Stronghold still remember the story of the old master Liando, who was the first to "tame" the wind. He noticed that during autumn storms, spirits eagerly answered the call—as if nature itself sought to take form. After years of experimentation, the first fan-conduit was born, capable of summoning and commanding Air Elementals.

At first glance, it’s just an ordinary fan, but it holds the power to command whirlwinds. No intricate carvings, no precious stones. Yet, its pattern carries a rhythm that mirrors the flow of air, and its rough wood holds the memory of forest storms.

When a mage first unfolds it, the fan feels almost weightless in their palm—as if it might fly away at any moment. But with a single flick, the air before it comes alive, calling upon the power of the wind and the elementals bound to it.
Finally
Last time, we showed you what the inventory and Tavern interfaces look like on mobile devices, the "Portal" tab, and shared new Field of View (FoV) settings to make your gameplay more comfortable and immersive. Today, we’d like to draw your attention to the "Forge" interface.

Stay tuned, as there’s much more to come! For now—share your impressions and expectations in the comments. Onward, Brave Ones!
