The May 9 update is here, and this update will see changes to Nightmare mode for Adventure Levels 7 and 8, as well as changes to Apostles. Find out what’s in store for the May 9th Update below!


[h2]■ Improvements[/h2]

• For Adventure levels 7 and 8, Veda’s Nightmare will now guarantee a minimum number of 5★ Relics.
  · For Adventure Level 7, a minimum of 1 general 5★ Relic will be guaranteed to drop.
  · For Adventure Level 8, Veda’s Nightmare will guarantee 1 general 5★ Relic, and 1 elemental 5★ Relic, totaling 2 guaranteed 5★ Relics.
  · The maximum number of 5★ Relics obtainable remains unchanged, ensuring a minimum drop count to avoid cases where no Relics would drop.
  
  
• For Adventure levels 7 and 8, Sealed Prisons will now guarantee a minimum number of 5★ Necklaces or Rings.
  · In Adventure Level 7, one 5★ Necklace or Ring that matches the attribute of the appearing boss will be guaranteed to drop.
  · In Adventure Level 8, one 5★ Necklace or Ring that matches the attribute of the appearing boss will be guaranteed to drop, along with the Adventure Level 7 guaranteed drop, resulting in two obtainable 5★ Necklaces or Rings.
  · The maximum number of 5★ Necklaces or Rings obtainable remains unchanged, ensuring a minimum drop count to avoid cases where no Relics would drop.
  
  
• On stages where the ‘Apostle’ type monster can appear, an improvement is being made so that if it does not appear in three consecutive runs, it will be guaranteed to appear in the next stage.
  · The existing probability of an ‘Apostle’ appearing remains unchanged.
  · The appearance of an ‘Apostle’ is counted after clearing a stage and consuming shoes.
  Due to this rule, when using Hero’s Shoes, the guaranteed appearance will occur at least twice.
  · Regardless of this feature, When the ‘Apostle’ appears, the guaranteed appearance opportunity is consumed.
  ·This feature does not count when playing together. However, the number of non-appearances of the ‘Apostle’ is counted, and when the ‘Apostle’ appears, the guaranteed appearance opportunity is applied.
  
  · Example: If the ‘Apostle’ does not appear in co-op more than 6 times, the opportunity for 2 appearances will be maintained, which will apply to a single player run.
  
  · Even if there is one guaranteed appearance opportunity due to this rule, if the ‘Apostle’ appears when playing together, the guaranteed opportunity will be consumed.
  
  
• The Unique Stat that increases incrementally with each Fate level of a 5★ Knight of Veda will be changed.
  · Unique Stat Example: Veleno: Poison DMG Bonus / Aurora: Light DMG Bonus.
  · The stat at 0 Fate will be increased to 300% of its original Value, and Fate Level 6 will increase to 111% of its original value.
  - The unique stats that increase incrementally with each refinement of 5★ weapons will be changed.
  · Example of Unique Stats: Bow of Sacrifice: ATK SPD, DoT / Light-speed Bow: CRIT chance, ATK SPD
  · At 0 Refinement, the unique stats will be increased to 150% of its original value, and Refinement level 6 will increase to 105% of its original value.
  

[h2]■ Bug Fixes[/h2]

• The issue where in the arena, the amount of Crowns of Victory obtained did not display correctly, will be fixed.
  
• The issue where the end date for the current Tower of Trials event displayed incorrectly from the scheduled end date will be fixed.
  
• Fixed an issue where the background music would not play in certain places.

Our development team is working hard to identify the root causes and implement necessary fixes as swiftly as possible, ensuring a better gaming experience for all.

■ Localization

Currently there are some translation issues with Ellen Farrell’s skill descriptions. We’ve provided more accurate translations below (please note that some of the translations may be different from the final in-game text):

Normal Skill [Training Sword of Life]:
Leap into the air and strike down with a greatsword to deal "Water" DMG. As Ellen lands, 3 water blades spread out in a fan shape from where the greatsword strikes, and deals ‘Water‘ DMG. Hitting an enemy with the greatsword grants 2 "Wave" stacks and applies the ‘Rush of Waves‘ effect to the struck enemy.

Fate Improvement:
Leap into the air and strike down with a greatsword to deal "Water" DMG. As Ellen lands, 5 water blades spread out in a fan shape from where the greatsword strikes,, and deals "Water" DMG. Hitting an enemy with the greatsword grants 2 "Wave" stacks and applies the "Rush of Waves" effect to the struck enemy.

Signature Skill [Sword of Waves]:
With the movements of flowing water, swing the greatsword 4 times, dealing "Water" DMG. If the third attack successfully hits an enemy, descend and strike down with the greatsword to trigger the fourth attack. The initial three attacks consume 1 "Wave" stack each time an enemy is hit, and the final attack consumes all current "Wave" stacks. Depending on the number of stacks consumed, deal additional damage through the "Wave Burst" effect.

Fate Improvement:
Gain 1 additional "Wave" stack when acquiring "Wave", and increase the ATK speed by 0.7% per stack

• Fixed an issue where the Knight of Veda 'Eliyar' sometimes repeatedly activated and deactivated her signature skill.
  
• Fixed an issue where the debuff description for the Knight of Veda 'Atterisee's skill 'Research Pays Off!' was displayed incorrectly.
  
• Fixed an issue where the description for Aurora’s skill 'Arrow Festival' in Traditional Chinese language was displayed incorrectly.
  
• Fixed an issue in the French language where the item description for 'Parts of Conviction' included in the Legendary Weapon Step-up IV product was displayed incorrectly.
  
• Fixed an issue where item names were incorrectly displayed in the lower-left description of the Legendary Knight of Veda and Legendary Weapon Step-up product introduction popup when languages other than Korean were used.

Join Aurora on a quest to discover the book that mysteriously disappears under moonlight, and follow her destiny wherever it may lead.

- May 2, 2024 after the maintenance - May 30, 2024 maintenance

[h3]■ Event Introduction[/h3]
- During the event period, when proceeding with the 'Event Call of the Stars: Aurora' the appearance rate of 5★ Knights of Veda " Aurora " will increase.
· The Event Call of the Stars character, "Aurora" will not be added to the regular Call of the Stars afterwards.
- During the event period, when proceeding with the 'Event Call of the Stars: Aurora' the appearance rates of 4★ Knights of Veda "Elias" and "Andrei" will increase.
- If a 5-star does not appear during the Call of the Stars, points towards the Grace of the Holy Grail accumulate,
and once full, the next Call of the Stars guarantees obtaining one 5-star Knight of Veda or equipment.
· If a 5★ Knight of Veda or 5★ equipment is obtained before the Grace of the Holy Grail is full, the accumulated points will be reset.
· Grace of the Holy Grail Points accumulated through the Call of the Stars event will be maintained even after the event period ends, and can be used in the next Call of the Stars event.
- Users can try out the Knights on this Event Call of the Stars through the “Journey in Memory” Event.
· Various rewards can be earned from completing the event.
- Detailed information about the Call of the Stars can be found by clicking the ‘?’ button at the top left of the Call of the Stars screen.
