Sledders Development Roadmap 2024

Hi everyone!

This is an overall view of the 2024 Roadmap and a few words on where we are heading with Sledders.

Nothing is written in stone, and we keep evolving and finding the best features for this unique snowmobiling game. We want to keep the community close and do our best.

That said, it is 100% certain that not all feature requests from the community will end up in the game. Some ideas are too time-consuming and will probably take many years to develop. Still, the Sledders community is a crucial source of inspiration, and all ideas are welcome.
So, what are we going to do with the game?
• Physic fine-tuning, Re-work on Skis and front suspension
 • Character development, Female driver, Transition animations, Possibility to hop-over when side-hilling
 • Gameplay features - Singleplayer & Multiplayer; Progressive gameplay, Explore and Unlock items, Challenge your friends in different multiplayer modes.
 • New Garage/Garage UI; Character/Sled customization -> Parts & Tuning, Stats, Wraps, Outfits
 • Level/map development
 • Compacted snow / Hard surface driving -> Snowcross, Trails, Jumps
 • Sound development

We are looking forward to making this the best snowmobiling gaming experience there ever has been. We will showcase new features in the future.

After the core game is ready we will look into mod support. This will probably take place in 2025.

Stay tuned for updates! The game will improve through the year 2024!

Hotfix for Sledders
Riders, the Sledder's first hotfix after the Early Access release is here!
• No more torn terrain boundaries in lower terrain quality settings!
 • Say goodbye to glitches on the edges of the map! We've fixed terrain height issues.
 • The FPS drop problem caused by player name labels has been fixed.
 • Respawn with a twist! Sleds no longer shift abruptly, and crossing the border during respawn requires a bit more effort. 😉
 • Hills and Mountains maps now proudly showcase their names properly in the map view.
 • MPH showing up correctly in the physical speedometer.
 • Rider hand placements have been refined, and the placement of tracks on sleds has been polished.
 • We've fixed the annoying pull cord sound bug in multiplayer. Enjoy the silence.

Keep sledding, keep pointing us bugs, request features and enjoy the constantly improved Sledders.

Q: Tell us about yourself
I've been making YouTube videos for 2 1/2 years, primarily centered around MX gaming but I occasionally give as hot other games as well. What started as a post-work hobby became into a full-time job. I've always wanted to create content since my youth, but it took some courage to began uploading my videos.

Q: How did you get into content creation?
It all began after stumbling upon a quick 2-minute gameplay video from another MX Bikes player, back when the rider was just an orb.

Q: What do you enjoy most about the game?
Getting together with a group of people and finding new things to do. Looking forward to having more dedicated areas across the maps like the snocross, etc

Q: Share a random fact about yourself
During my younger days, I went through a phase where I only used plastic cutlery. A quirky detail that adds a touch of personality!

Q: Favorite game and a piece of advice for aspiring content creators
MX Bikes takes the top spot with 2800 hours of gameplay. It's a game that keeps me coming back, providing both frustration and the drive to improve. For aspiring creators: Consistency is key. Keep showing up every day, and your audience will find you, making you a part of their daily routine.
