The Wrecking Ball

Hello Players! 👋
Welcome to the new devlog! Today we’d like to show you another tool at your disposal. One which can become extremely valuable help, or bring you a lose depending on how you use it- the wrecking ball 💣.
In the prologue, players will get an early introduction to the wrecking ball. While they won’t have full control over it at this stage, they will be able to use it in a limited capacity. This early experience serves as a preview of its potential, allowing players to get a feel for its destructive power before they can fully utilize it later in the game. 📝

The wrecking ball is not a tool that players have constant access to—it must be rented for a fee. 💲 Its primary function is tied to contracts involving derelict buildings, where quick demolition is essential. In some standard contracts, players may also have the option to use the wrecking ball, though it’ll be a rare occurrence.

We love this tool and it’s super fun to use so we’re positive you’ll love using it as well. 🤩 But as with many of the fun things in life… use it with caution because too much destruction sometimes leads to a penalty, such as in situation when you demolish structures that should remain intact. 😢

The main advantage of using the wrecking ball is efficiency. ⌚ In rundown properties, where the goal is often to clear out the space as quickly as possible to prepare it for resale, the wrecking ball becomes an invaluable tool.

Instead of manually dismantling structures piece by piece, players can use it to bring down entire buildings and their interiors in a matter of moments. This streamlined approach not only saves time but also enhances the overall flow of the demolition process, making large-scale destruction both satisfying and practical. 👷
We hope that this introduction piqued your interest and you’ll use this tool during your work! 💪 As always, we’d love to hear your thoughts on the topic so make sure to share them with us in the comments!
Brick System 🧱✨

Hello Deconstructors! 👋
One of the core features of Deconstruction Simulator is our Brick System 🛠️, an essential part of the destruction mechanics. Brick walls are unique in that they consist of the highest number of individual components—bricks! Players can dismantle them in two ways:

Manual Approach 🔍: Carefully remove mortar and take out bricks one by one.
Smash & Destroy 💥: Use a hammer to break through the wall for a more action-packed experience.

Why It Matters 🎮
Taking down brick walls is one of the tasks players can be assigned during the game. Not only does it yield income 💰, but it also provides bricks 🧱 that can be collected on special pallets 📦 and stored in the warehouse 🏬. These bricks can then be sold for extra cash 💵.
Upgrades 🚀
While the Brick System itself cannot be upgraded, players can expand their warehouse with additional brick racks 🗄️. Additionally, purchasing pallets is crucial for transporting bricks efficiently. 🛒
Stay tuned for more updates, and let us know how you're enjoying dismantling brick by brick! 🏗️

Dismantling and destroying

Hello Deconstructors! 👋
Welcome back to another devlog! Today we’ve got a topic every finest deconstruction is fond of- dismantling and destroying stuff.
Some of you may say… “Hey, destroying? Didn’t you already say in the previous devlog that destroyed stuff can’t be resold so it’s basically a waste?” Technically yes, you’re right. The destroyed stuff turns into debris which can be recycled for some coins albeit much less than what you would get for an item in perfect condition. 💰

“Why would I be doing that if that’s the case?” 🤔 There are few reasons and the most important one is simply… because you can! Not to mention it’s quite fun to just ram into the contracted house and hammer through everything. 👷 It’s also much quicker. ⌚

Some contracts may mention negative consequences for destroying stuff while others will even encourage you to do so. 📝 Accept whichever contracts sound like the most fun to you and enjoy whatever you’re off to do in there, after all it’s your company, isn’t it? 👍

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

With that being said, there are some fine, expensive items waiting for you during the contracts. When you identify them it’d be wise to proceed carefully. Dismantling stuff requires keen eye, precision and proper tools used in the right moment so make sure to invest in your equipment. Upgrading it will most definitely save you a lot of time. 🧰

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

As you can see, even an item simple as a wardrobe takes a moment and a few tools to be successfully taken apart but once you’re done, you’ll be able to take it to your warehouse and resell for great profit! 💲 Every single item you find can be either dismantled or destroyed- it’s up to you to evaluate which action will bring you the most fun and money to grow your business!

We’d love to hear your opinions on this topic so make sure to leave a comment and let us know your thoughts! You can also join our discord and have a chat with our dev team! 🤩

If you enjoyed this devlog consider adding the game to your wishlist to not miss out on any upcoming ones!

Warehouse changes

Hello Deconstructors! 👋

We’re glad you’ve decided to join us and read the new devlog straight from our warehouse! Today we’d like to show you the changes and latest additions to this location. 🤩

First of all, we’ve given this place some more attention since the demo version. This resulted in a small redesign of the interior! 💪
We’ve implemented a new tab in the computer which is responsible for the warehouse. Along this tab come new possibilities- customization and upgrades. 🔨
Upgrades will allow you to increase the size of your warehouse while customization will hopefully make your business feel more personal. Moving and reordering all the warehouse furniture, shelves, pallets. More space but not enough furniture? No problem. Buy everything you want in the shop and arrange your warehouse however you’d like.
In addition, we’ve added a whole separate room next to the warehouse- a garage which will also have its functionalities and upgrades! 🏘️
These are the latest changes to this location. We’d love to hear if you like them or not. 🙂 We also encourage you to join our discord where you can meet other members of our community and stay informed about the latest events and changes in the game!
