Fantasy roguelike Dead Cells is being invaded by indies again. Weapons and outfits from six games are making their way into the game with today's free Everone Is Here 2 update: Terraria, Hotline Miami, Shovel Knight, Slay The Spire, Risk Of Rain 2, and Katana Zero. There’s also new lore rooms based on locations from these games, which is where you’ll find the weapons stored. You can watch some of the costumes and weapons in action in the trailer below.

When Drill Knight and his dastardly digging crew blast apart Shovel Knight’s peaceful campsite and steal his loot, he grabs his trusty Shovel Blade and starts tunneling after them! But as he and Shield Knight soon discover, this adventure goes much deeper than a simple heist…

In true roguelike fashion, Shovel Knight’s path through the adventure is different every time you play! Shovel Knight Dig is packed with thousands of pixel-perfect level chunks, which are procedurally stitched together to create infinite combinations. Leap over danger, slash your foes, and dig your way down to hidden riches. Augment yourself by partaking in peculiar cuisine from the Gastronomole, studying Shovel Blade techniques from Master Argus, or taking your chances with Tom Bola! Back up at camp, spend your hard-earned loot to unlock new relics, armors, items and accessories. Each trip down the well will bring Shovel Knight closer to discovering the secrets lying at the bottom.

Platforming hero Shovel Knight dons their horned helmet again on September 23rd when the series next instalment, Shovel Knight Dig, arrives on Steam. This time, ol’ Shoves and pal Shield Knight are tangling with the nefarious Drill Knight, who’s pinched all the stuff from their campsite, believe it or not. Devs Yacht Club Games enlisted YouTubers Arin Hanson and Jirard ‘The Completionist’ Khalil to announce the game, and you can watch the trailer below.

This patch addresses a critical issue that MacOS Big Sur users were experiencing due to OpenGL location changes that coincided with the Big Sur update. In addition, a fix for the notary on MacOS has also been implemented.
