It's been a non-stop adventure since we released Shovel Knight back in 2014. Whether you've been following along with us since pixel one, or just recently jumped in -- we're happy to hear players are enjoying the game everyday!

Shovel Knight: King of Cards and Shovel Knight Showdown arrive on December 10th, 2019 as free updates for owners of Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove! We think these games offer something truly special for new and returning players alike, from four grand, sweeping single-player adventures to a frenetic multiplayer battle game that you'll want to revisit again and again.

We can’t wait to share them with all of you in just under one month! We hope all of these upcoming Shovel Knight releases bring everyone a lot of joy at the end of this year — and for the years beyond!

King of Cards marks our grandest adventure yet, and we hope the trailer whets your appetite for the banquet of adventure which awaits! It has more levels, mechanics, secrets, and content than any Shovel Knight game to come before it. It’s a spectacle, crammed to the coffers with ideas- it’s the biggest game we’ve ever made, and we can’t wait for everyone to finally, finally play it. Wow, it’s been a long development! With both Shovel Knight: King of Cards and Shovel Knight Showdown we are entering our last laps, heading towards the home stretch, tying up the loose ends, crossing our ‘t’s and dotting our ‘i’s and throwing on one last coat of polish before calling it final! Don’t forget Shovel Knight Showdown! We’ve put a ton of love into crafting each character, and we can’t wait to show you just how unique everything is. There’s been lots of tweaking and balancing happening in the past few weeks to make sure that every character is somebody’s favorite! We’ve been obsessed with playing the game and our ‘test’ sessions have been hours-long and raucous. We can’t wait to let you get your hands on it!
