G.T.I. Security I New Anti-Cheat Features Announcement

Dear Operators,
Anti-cheat has always been a critical mission in any shooter game. The Delta Force G.T.I. Security team is committed to maintaining a fair playing environment. We'll continuously monitor for abnormal behaviors and data across multiple dimensions, and shall intensify our efforts to combat hard-to-detect kernel-level cheats.
To minimize the impact of cheats on players, we're introducing the tracing of Teaming with Cheaters for both modes, and the Cheater Kill Compensation for Hazard Operation in the extraction mode.

1. New Feature: Teaming with Cheaters Penalty
When a confirmed cheater is penalized, we also review and take action against players connected to them. If a player teams up with cheaters on purpose to gain unfair earnings, we will impose varying levels of penalties based on the severity, including but not limited to account bans and confiscation of previous gains.

2. New Feature: Cheater Kill Compensation for Hazard Operation in Extraction Mode
To reduce losses caused by cheaters, if someone who killed you is later confirmed to have cheated and receives a 10-year ban, you'll receive compensation. The G.T.I. Security team will take the following actions:
1. Retrospective Analysis: We'll conduct a thorough review and analysis of the matches played by the cheater within a certain timeframe.
2. Compensation Mechanism: If you're killed by a cheater, your gear in the gear slots (gear and weapons) will be returned based on what you've brought into the match. Consumables and miscellaneous items (e.g., ammo) won't be returned.
3. Compensation Delay: Since handling cheats takes some time, compensation may be delayed accordingly.
4. Gradual Rollout: We're currently testing this feature in some matches to ensure stability and effectiveness, and we'll expand it to all matches as soon as possible.

3. Why the emphasis on the kernel-level anti-cheat?
Standard cheats modify game memory or crack encrypted data, enabling easier-to-detect tricks like wallhacks and aimbots. In contrast, kernel-level cheats (VT, DMA, etc.) are far more elusive due to how they run, making them much harder to detect and combat.
Since the Open Beta launched, kernel-level cheats have accounted for over 70% of all penalized cheats, and nearly 50% of those cheaters have received 10-year bans. Although Delta Force already has kernel-level anti-cheat measures in place, we still devote significant manpower to battling kernel-level cheats in the long term. Disabling kernel-level anti-cheat would severely harm the experience for fair players, which is the last thing we want to see.

Our Delta Force G.T.I. Security team is dedicated to ensuring fair play and a healthy gaming environment. Our main goal is to protect rule-abiding players and minimize the negative impact of cheaters. We call on all players to join us in maintaining the game's fairness and integrity.

Delta Force Preview: Love is a Battlefield

After four years of development, multiple alpha releases, and a bevy of name changes, Delta Force has transitioned from wishlists to the libraries of over two million Steam users as it enters into open beta. Despite still being in development, Delta Force feels remarkably finished, offering balanced gameplay, polished aesthetics, and stable servers. It’s even gone live with a purchasable season pass, in-game currency, and an active storefront already up and running.

Delta Force is a hero-based shooter that currently offers two ways to play: Warfare, a 64-player objective-based skirmish, and Operations, an extraction-style adventure. Though still in development and with room for improvement, both options offer a refined take on their respective fan-favourite genres—albeit, at times, a take that can feel overly familiar.

Delta Force is a fascinating franchise — an iconic series from the late ‘90s and early 2000s that laid the foundations for one of the most prolific... Read more

Announcement I OCE/Middle East Matchmaking Changes

Dear Operators,
We’ve been closely monitoring your matchmaking experience and have noticed that many players in the Oceania and Middle East regions encounter lengthy wait times. After careful evaluation, we plan to implement the following chan ges:

1. Regions: Oceania and Middle East.
2. Date: Dec. 27.
3. Adjustments: To address low matchmaking efficiency in these regions, we will introduce bot players during matchmaking to ensure faster game starts. As real players join the match, bots will gradually be replaced.
4. Bot Identification: We want to make sure that you can easily distinguish bots from real players. All bot players will have a unified "AI" tag in their names for clear identification.

We aim to deliver a smoother and more enjoyable experience for our community in the Oceania and Middle East regions through these adjustments. Our team will continue to monitor matchmaking performance and listen to community feedback once the changes go live. We look forward to hearing your thoughts!

Team Jade on “Recreating the Spirit of Delta Force”

CGMagazine first went hands on with Delta Force at Summer Game Fest earlier this year. From those first moments in the game, it was clear that the people behind it, Call of Duty: Mobile’s Team Jade, planned to go big with the latest title. Players haven’t seen a Delta Force title since 2009, and making a comeback after 15 years is no small task.

Though I’ve had hands-on experience with the game, I also did some research into what gamers were saying about Delta Force, and there was plenty to sift through. There were complaints about bots in the Alpha test, questions about operators, the game’s name change, and more.

Before the Delta Force Open Beta, CGMagazine got to sit down with Team Jade Studio Head Leo Yao, Game Director Shadow Guo and Art Director William Liu to find out all we could about Delta Force and what fans and new players can expect.

After sitting down with the Team Jade trio, it is obvious that they have been listening to what the players are saying,... Read more
