Version 1.2 Patch Notes

The latest update for STORY OF SEASONS: Grand Bazaar doesn’t just bring in some new fresh fixes, it’s also bringing some fresh fashion! Included in the patch out today is a new volume of “Happy Bingo” that introduces several new cosmetic items you won’t want to miss.

Three new cards offer some great rewards, but the stars of the show are the new Sushi Chef Cap, Sushi Chef Apron, and the two new Sushi Gliders: Tuna and Shrimp. What a catch!

Additionally, while we’re sure you’re already reading this post because you have the game and are eager to dress for success, be sure to tell all your friends that still haven’t picked up STORY OF SEASONS: Grand Bazaar that the game is on sale for 20% off until November 27!

The full list of bug fixes available in this update is available below:

・Balancing adjustments for some fishing rods
・Added recipes for processing tea leaves at the Yellow Windmill
・Fixed issue where warping home with the Travel Stone while triggering the initial Happy Bingo event would result in a progress blocker
・Fixed issue where picking up items would occasionally result in a progress blocker
・Fixed issue preventing bazaar donations and rank ups from functioning properly under select conditions
・Other minor bug fixes

Grand Bazaar’s 1.1.0 Update Available Now

[p]The STORY OF SEASONS: Grand Bazaar 1.1.0 update is now available and includes some bug fixes along with introducing the all-new “Happy Bingo.”

Once you’ve updated the game and reached “City Bazaar Rank,” the Nature Sprites will visit during an event cut scene introducing “Happy Bingo.” Each spot on the card features an everyday activity like fishing or petting animals. Players complete these activities to fill spots on their card until they’ve completed a Happy Bingo! Players then turn in completed cards at the Nature Sprites’ stall, Happy Shoppe, on bazaar days to earn a variety of useful items.

There is even a Deluxe Bingo card that offers greater rewards, including unique outfits and gliders, which you can get a sneak preview of below.

Fifteen years have passed since the last time we visited Zephyr Town, but this breezy burg needs your help once more. Take over the local farm, growing crops and raising animals to help Mayor Felix and the residents of this sweet mountain village bring the once-famous bazaar back to life. With all-new presentation, including fully voiced events, Grand Bazaar brings the world of STORY OF SEASONS to life in vibrant new ways.

Take advantage of the windy conditions and traverse Zephyr Town thanks to the ability to glide across the skies, and soak in the updated visuals highlighting all the town’s unique charms, including the delightfully diverse residents that players can befriend as they begin to set down roots in their new home. Days of rewarding farmwork, relaxing exploration and socializing, along with an abundance of leisure activities and festivals await, all culminating in the most important day of the week—bazaar day!

There, you'll have to sell up a storm to raise awareness (and funds), bringing prominence back to you humble hillside home. Customize your stall, choose the perfect inventory every week, and perhaps even entice other out-of-towners to set up stalls of their own. The bigger the bazaar, the bigger the crowds. Tthe bigger the crowds, the bigger the sales!

Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar (Nintendo Switch 2) Review

Despite my long-recorded love of the franchise, I actually didn’t play Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar when it first released on the DS in 2010. The series had been going through a bit of an experimental phase at the time, and when I asked my local EB Games employee about it, she said it wasn’t very good, so I avoided it.

In a lot of ways, I’m actually glad my 21-year-old self didn’t play the original Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar, because, much like with Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life in 2003, I genuinely wouldn’t have appreciated its interesting and innovative ideas. Thankfully, Marvellous has breathed new life into this unique entry, and it is a sight to behold.
