What’s New in Hear My Cult:

- Unlockable Perks: Redefine gameplay with new mechanics introduced through unlockable perks.
- New Sacrifice System: Sacrifice units on-demand as requested by the Old Gods to gain powers and gifts. Sacrifices also trigger unique effects based on selected perks, artifacts, and minions.
- Added options for both keyboard and controller in the main menu and in-game options.
- Full controller support with an improved targeting system.
- Improved the appearance of the Cult Leader.
- Lighting System: Upgraded overall game lighting for a better visual experience.
- Enemy Interaction: Enhanced the feel of clicking/selecting enemies.
- Streamlined menus for greater intuitiveness.
- Redesigned cards and icons.
- Improved readability of small text (now testing on Steam Deck).
- Tutorial Level: Upgraded for better onboarding.

Hello Callers,

just a weekly update on the development of Hear My Cult, the very core of the game
is seeing the light! I am looking to improve some technical aspects to then be able to ship
a demo on Steam for all of you, but if you want to try a Beta Version of the game, join our Discord Channel! The Beta Demo is up until the end of November 2024 https://discord.com/invite/CMrWZwMJv9

In the meantime I have introduced some new features:

- The Cult Leader now wields weapons, and there are different masks and cosmetic items to collect
- There are now 2 currencies (Aurums and Relics) that can be collected in the world of Altherra
- These currencies can be used to unlock new Decks, Cosmetics and Perks
- Perks are a new system that players can use to enhance and drastically change the way that they play,

Looking for Playtesters!

I am looking for all the ARPG/RTS enjoyers willing to put some time
and effort into testing the game and its mechanics. The Demo will
be available by the end of October to all Discord Members, so join
the Discord Channel:

The Demo will feature:

- Deck Selection Screen with unlockables
- 6 Starting decks, with 18 sub-decks
- A roguelite Procedural Map Selection
- A Procedural level with 12 Biomes
- 12 Levels
- 10 Shop Levels
- 48 Minions Cards
- 24 Cult Leader Spells Cards
- 96 Minions (Scrolls) Spell Cards
- 46 Minions Equipments
- 18 Cult Leader Basic Spells
- 18 Artifact Cards
- 3 Ancient Gods Cults (like talent trees)
- Settings Menu (to be fixed)
- Local Saving
- Steam Cloud Saving
- Controller Support (to be fixed)

Once me and the playtesters in the Discord channel will be satisfied
with the result, the demo will be available on Steam !

Hello Callers,

just a weekly update on the development of Hear My Cult, I am currently
working hard on fixing bugs and introducing some core features to be able
to release a playable Demo, to start the Beta testing phase. The Discord channel
is slowly gathering people that are interested in being at the front of the line
for when the Demo comes out, if you are interested please join our Discord!



Today I want to talk about the most important aspect of the game... Minions.

- The game revolves around summoning Minions via casting spells.
- Minions automatically follow you and attack enemies on sight.
- You can let your minions steamroll your enemies
- .... or move them manually to be more strategic on the battlefield
- Minions cost resources and the main resources of the game are Souls and Elements
- There are 6 elements to choose and mix... Fire, Water, Ruin, Life, Earth and Storm
- Minions can be equipped with armor and weapons to empower them
- Minions are also customizable with scrolls that give them unique abilities, like spitting fire or summoning other Minions
