Kunitsu-Gami dishes out freebies for hitting 500,000-player milestone

Without a shadow of a doubt, one of the most criminally-underrated games of 2024 so far is Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. While there hasn't been much mainstream chatter about it, and Steam player count numbers have looked fairly underwhelming, I'm happy to see that Capcom's strategic action game has hit a very impressive milestone of 500,000 players. In celebration of that achievement, a free update has just dropped for all players that bestows them with three brand new Talismans, including one that's inspired by Okami.

Kunitsu-Gami celebrates 500K players with 3 Mazo Talismans!

500,000 players have entered the hauntingly beautiful world of Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, ever since its release on July 19! Thank you to everyone who picked up the game!

As a token of our gratitude, we are gifting 3 Mazo Talismans that can be equipped by the protagonist, Soh: Jubilee, Dancing Crane, and Amaterasu, which is a collaboration with "Okami." These will be available to everyone playing the game, and everyone who purchases the game in the future!

Additionally, a series of behind the scenes video taking a closer look at the development of the game will be released starting today! The first video focuses on how the world of Kunitsu-Gami was created, merging analogue and digital technology together.
