We thought it might be a good time to look back for a while, so we prepared a pretty awesome animation showing the evolution of the game.

We worked on MouseCraft for almost 2 years, here's the whole development process wrapped into a single GIF:

Apparently MouseCraft is one of the most anticipated games of this summer!

Turned out that we are not the only ones that would like MouseCraft to be released as soon as possible!

We just found out that our cheesy game made it to multiple lists of best/biggest/most interesting releases of this month or even the whole summertime!



Well, who are we to disagree?

The final version of MouseCraft launches July 8th, 10 am PST, but you can already get it today by buying the Early Access version , which will obviously upgrade to the full version automatically.

MouseCraft Beta is available now!



The Beta version is ready!

Major changes:
  • Nearly all previous levels have been redesigned or rearranged (currently 41 levels). These levels won't change in the final game release.
  • Added Active Pause functionality (now you can freeze time and place the bricks without time pressure)
  • Destruction Tokens have been replaced with Brick Bombs
  • Videos, new location and enemies have been added
  • Support for Achievements, Stats and Steam Cloud has been added
  • Thousands of bugs has been fixed


Known issues:
  • Low video performance
  • Keyboard support is only partially implemented
  • Level Editor is currently disabled (we are currently working on adding Steam Workshop support)


Few things to note:
  • Don't worry about the game being finished by July 8th - the rest 39 levels are already made, but we just need a couple more weeks to test them.
  • Please note the fact that all the levels have been redesigned - it means that all the existing saves will not work.
  • Linux version still needs more testing, so please report any existing bugs :). Thanks!
