Haunted Hallows VI: Icons of Horror

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
Something Strange Is Happening In Farmstead Arena…
Though locals have long warned against demoing once the sun goes down, a group of foolish teens has unleashed a long-buried horror from deep below. As the villains of classic horror franchises rise from the soil, brave players who survive their Challenges can earn horrifying rewards.

Play Spooky Cube and Heatseeker in the cursed Farmstead (Spooky) Arena to unlock Golden Pumpkins and Haunted Hallows Challenge Rewards. Still need the perfect spine-chilling soundtrack? Discover frightful Horror Villain Player Anthems in the Item Shop.

Be afraid! Your worst nightmares come to life from October 19 to November 1.
Spooky Souvenirs
Throughout Haunted Hallows, players can complete Haunted Hallows Challenges to unlock rewards inspired by iconic horror movies. Hardcore horror fans will love the Jigsaw Blade Wheels and Sam’s Treat Wheels, while the Snazzy Skull Topper is perfect for those who prefer the fun side of our favorite spooky season.

Wanna Play? Chucky’s Good Guys Wheels will be your friend till the end! We just need to work out a couple of “technical issues” where they “come to life” and start “chasing players.”

Made from a very special kind of leather, the Leatherface’s Mask Decal will have you screaming with excitement. Just don’t ask us where we got it.

Let the games begin! The Billy The Puppet Decal will have you laughing all the way to the winner’s circle. Just don’t let your ego spiral out of control.
No Tricks, Just Treats
Sam has a different Rule #1 than players might be used to: ALWAYS give candy to trick-or-treaters.

In the ghoulish spirit of giving, players can earn Golden Pumpkins to unlock Items from the Velocity, Triumph, and Auriga Item Series’. Golden Pumpkins work just like previous Golden rewards—complete the Challenge up to five times to earn Golden Pumpkins, then open them in your Inventory to unlock items.

Most people are so ungrateful to be alive. But not you. Not anymore. After all, players can also pick up the free “Sole Survivor” Player Title in the Item Shop!
Enter The Item Shop
Nothing sets the mood quite like the perfect spooky soundtrack. This season, stock up on scares with Horror Villain Player Anthems from some of horror’s most iconic franchises. Rocket League gets new basketball themed event - for those bored of good ol' football

Brace yourself Rocket League players, hold onto something I swear to god this is gonna shake you to your core. From now until October 18, the Hoops event is live which, instead of revelling in the lovely, relaxing, embracing football we’ve grown, we’ve gotten another basketball arena. I’m shaking.

That’s right, with a new arena called “The Block”, players will be able to shoot balls into — get this — large circular hoops at each side of the arena, as opposed to the smaller, elegant goals Rocket League is known for.

There’s more! With the new arena and event there’s challenges are rewards to dive — or drive — into. Rewards include the illustrious new game time player anthem, and the animated double dribble topper. What a mouthful, and one you’ll want to nab before the event goes forever.

Turn Up The Block With a New Hoops Arena
Streetball Roots Run Deep in Sovereign Heights
While the biggest names in basketball have traditionally come from Dunk House, there lives a hardcore group of Hoops mains who traded hardwood courts for asphalt. Located in the Sovereign Heights community park, The Block Arena is a new outdoor court with a huge reputation in the local streetball scene.

To celebrate its construction, we’re introducing The Block Party, a basketball-focused In-Game Event with some baller Block Party Challenge Rewards. Completing Event Challenges will reward you with the animated Double Dribble Topper, Game Time Player Anthem, a Very Rare Drop, and huge XP Rewards.

Looking for the soundtrack to your next big win? Players can take The Block back to the ‘80s with the shredding Jump Player Anthem, penned by the legendary Van Halen! This synth-heavy hit single is perfect for your next slam dunk and will be available in the Item Shop for a short time during The Block Party.

Get ready to show off your skills! Hoops will take over the regularly scheduled 1 p.m. PDT Competitive Tournaments Extra Modes slot on North American servers, and the 1 p.m. UTC slot on European servers during The Block Party.

The Block Party begins right now and will rock the house until October 18.

This behind-the-scenes series features Psyonix developers as they dive into the making of Rocket League, with this episode focusing on The Block Arena, the surrounding Sovereign Heights scenery, and the history behind this Arena’s creation. Watch Under the Hood here.

Better get there early for a primo seat. The Block Party will run from October 12 to October 18.
