AGF Update July 18

Hi all!

It's been a little while, but we finally have another update for you.

In this update, we've increased the maximum terrain size from 4000 to 16000. This allows for much bigger terrains if you desire. Be careful though, as large terrains may tend to take a longer time to load.

Next, there is the ability to add height and slope constraints when painting textures onto terrains. So, if you want a texture to only appear at sea level, or on a hill, this could be useful for you.

Objects can now be grouped in the Object List window. This allows you to hide everything inside of the group and could be useful if you want to hide a house roof and edit the objects inside.

You can now use certain objects as vegetation. Be aware however, that more than the most simple objects may not appear correctly as objects with too many polygons may be too much for it to handle.

For those of you with Premium, there are new Paint and Vegetation options on the Terrain Generator. This can allow you to generate a more detailed terrain.

Lastly, for those of you with Voxel Sculpt, you can now generate smaller portions of the terrain at a time. This will allow you to do it quicker and save your AGF from crashing due to memory usage.

Editing Weapons and Ammo

Hi all,

In this update we added the ability to edit stats on weapons and ammo.
To do this, you need to open the Properties window and select some weapons or ammo. You can see it in action in the video below.

In addition there are a few other changes:
1: Fixed damage dealing in the internal ARPG players
2: Added a button to clear the intro cutscene
3: Added a 'None' cutscene option, which clears the cutscene from the slot
4: You can now export .OBJs into a single file. Make sure to keep the poly count from being too high, otherwise abnormalities may occur
5: Fixed a bug allowing you to be reloading more than once at a time

This update includes a few new features:
1: The ability to import audio and use it in triggers and music playlist
2: The ability to add full conversations on message locators
3: The ability to add cutscenes (Premium only)

It also includes some fixes and changes:
1: Fixed a shader error in the Sidescroller start locator
2: Fixed the cursor tooltips when rotating the camera in the World Builder and Constructor while no object is selected
3: Removed the duplicate locked Sidescroller asset pack
4: Slightly increased performance
5: Fixed a terrain bug causing lag every minute

Bug noted:
1: External players cannot walk on top of simple colliders (the green ones)
