[h2]Changes and Improvements:[/h2]

  • The weapon painting shader has been improved. More detailed testing revealed that the old shader caused a significant drop in performance depending on how close the weapon was to the player's eyes. The closer the weapon, the higher the load on the PC. This issue has now been fixed.

  • Spray paint cans have been added! The following colors are currently available: paint remover, white, red, dark green, yellow, blue, dark gray, and purple. Now you can create unique skins for your favorite weapons! Paint remover, white, dark green, and red are initially available at the Free Stalkers base, while other colors can be found throughout the Zone.
  • For more precise painting of magazines, sights, and collimators, it is recommended to remove them from the weapon beforehand.
  • Markers and an eraser have been added to the Free Stalkers and Dawn bases. Now you can leave notes on the global map.
  • Drawing boards for markers have been placed at the Free Stalkers and Dawn bases—use them for your notes!

  • Weapon and item descriptions now display an icon indicating whether the item can be painted. All magazines can be painted, except for PL19 and "Groza".
  • A rare bug in the HDD quest given by Iskra has been fixed.
  • Additional optimization has been performed for the Free Stalkers location.
  • The leaderboard has been reset.

Hotfix 0.76

  • Fixed a lighting issue on the "Dead City" level. It turned out that the issue only affected players who played with shadows disabled. Thanks to player pg1581 for providing a video, which helped understand what was happening. The problem has now been resolved.

  • Added a new location "DEPOT", which can be unlocked by obtaining a quest at the "Dawn" base.
  • Added a new location "Forgotten Path".
  • Added a new location "Bunker X".
  • Added a new story quest, which can be obtained through the story branch at the "Dawn" base. This quest unlocks access to the "DEPOT" level.
  • Added a new anomaly "Fire Vortex".
  • Added a new quest that can be taken at the "Dawn" base from Iskra after completing certain tasks. After that, you will receive a voice message.
  • Added a new story quest that can be obtained at the "Dawn" base from Markus, after completing a specific story branch.
  • Added a new quest item — hard drive.
  • Added a small backstory about Dawn and Freedom in the new quests.

  • Improved the indication and foregrip grab on automatic weapons.
  • Improved AI faction combat behavior — they now search for dynamic cover more effectively.
  • Improved the SV36-54 sniper scope — night vision now works significantly better.
  • Refined the chambered round check mechanism for the following automatic weapons: AK-74M, AKS-74, AKS-74U, AS "Val", VSK-94, CQ16, OTs-14 "Groza", M4, 17 "Ghost", 17M "Ghost", 27 "Ghost", and Saiga-9.
  • Updated the main menu: some graphics settings have been renamed to be more intuitive for players.
  • Fixed incorrect price display in the Thermal Vision description.
  • Updated the PDA: some graphics settings have been renamed to be more intuitive for players.
  • Partially reworked the lighting on the "Swamp" level — removed sun glare that could cause nausea for some players.
  • Removed the darkening effect in "Dead City" when entering buildings.
  • Slightly reduced the radiation effect on vision.
  • Additional optimization has been done for the "Free Stalkers Base" level.

  • Fixed an issue where part of the image could disappear for a few seconds.
  • The descriptions of collimator and sniper scopes have been updated to indicate that they are also compatible with Valmet 78.
  • Lighting on the "Dead City" level has been partially adjusted.
  • Fixed an issue with sniper scopes in the "Dead City".
  • Slightly adjusted the physics of the Valmet 78 sniper rifle.
