Cities: Skylines release date announced through snazzy new trailer

SimCity didn't live up to its promise as a city builder. Its AI struggled to navigate the metropolis, its regions were too small, and it was packed with bugs. Cities: Skylines looks to right all those wrongs and everything I've seen of it so far suggests it will.


Skylines' new trailer gives a general overview of the colourful simulation and reveals its March 10 release date.

First Cities: Skylines patch arrives, kills bugs, adds a film grain slider and nerfs parks

Cities: Skylines 1.0.6b has just gone live on Steam, addressing a small pile of bugs and technical issues with the charts-dominating, doing-it-right, apple-of-our-eye city simulator.


It's all fairly benign stuff, such as "fixed pedestrian bridge color slightly wrong from far distance", but hey, if your pedestrian bridges have been frustratingly off-hue of late, now you can finally relax.
