The long-awaited moment is upon us. I am excited to officially announce the release of version 0.0.1 of "Escape Z" on November 6. This is just the beginning of our journey, but it is a crucial step toward creating an exciting gaming experience.

[h2]What to expect from Version 0.0.1:[/h2]
In this first version, you will immerse yourself in the zombie apocalypse and experience the basic mechanics of the game. You will fight hordes of zombies, explore a post-apocalyptic world, and get to know key characters. This will be a small preview of the world I am creating.

I want to emphasize how important your involvement in this process is. I welcome your feedback and opinions, which will help me further improve the game. Please feel free to share your feedback with me.

DEVLOG #7

I have recently concentrated my efforts on two crucial aspects of the game, which have received a lot of attention: changing the UI sounds and improving building collisions. Here's what I did:


    [h3]Change of UI Sounds[/h3]
  • I decided to make a significant change in the user interface (UI) sounds of "Escape Z". The goal was to improve the usability and player experience. I replaced the existing sounds with new sound effects that fit better with the overall design of the game. Now, the user interface resonates more consistently with the post-apocalyptic world.

    [h3]Improved Building Collisions[/h3]
  • I have also addressed the problem of building collisions. This improvement was made to ensure that buildings within the game are more interactive and consistent with their surroundings. This not only improves the visual aspect of the game, but also the overall gaming experience.

In this devlog, I just want to tell you about the problems I am trying to solve:

  • I am finding and fixing a number of bugs that could affect the gaming experience. This included collision problems, script errors and other minor glitches that could interrupt the flow of the game. My priority is to ensure that Escape Z is as stable as possible.

I am excited to share with you the latest developments in Escape Z. This is where we are right now:


    [h3]Improved zombie movement[/h3]
  • I spent some time reviewing and refining the zombie movement in the game maps.

    [h3]90% Italian translation[/h3]
  • I am on the verge of completing the Italian translation. I am currently at 90% of the work. This translation was a significant effort, but well worth it to ensure that Italian players can fully immerse themselves in the apocalypse.

    [h3]Fixing the audio problem in the music playlist[/h3]
  • I have addressed and fixed an audio issue that had occurred in the music playlist in the game maps. The volume of the soundtrack can now be adjusted from the audio menu.
