Kaso-Koumori is supposed to be the townâs official mascot, but it turns out he was only being used by the mayor in order to secure a grant (damn that crusty old geezer đĄ) and was left out to dry. Very soon after arriving in town, he realised that he actually wouldnât be getting any work, and worse than that, was stuck there with no way to leave! The worst! He even changed his name to fit in with the town, which just goes to show that no good deed goes unpunished.
đŽAs Michi begins exploring the town, he finds that a long forgotten stamp rally is still operational. Kaso-Koumori can be seen on the stamp card, and the stamp itself, one poignant reminder of his very short-lived stint as a town mascot.
đŚKaso-Koumori can be found hanging out at the mines most of the time, heâs big into bats and is desperate to hang out with them. This of course has nothing to do with him possibly (definitely) having a total complex about his always-on head lamp annoying everyone. Which it totally doesnât, but he wonât be told. Okay maybe it annoys the bats. But thatâs IT.
If you donât like bats. Iâm going to stop you right there, Kaso-Koumori has nothing to say to you.
Developer notes: Kaso-Koumori came about when we began to imagine what kind of a mascot the mayor would hire for the town after his bad experience with Pinkyâ. Kaso-Koumori is pretty much her opposite, quiet, reserved and easy to manipulate. Unfortunately the perfect prey for a crusty old geezerâŚ
