Endless RPG Update: Exciting Things Ahead!

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a quick update on the progress of Endless RPG. While I was aiming for a September release, a few things have taken a bit longer than expected—especially the final dialogues for the Evil Centers. But don’t worry, I’m working hard to get everything just right!

On the bright side, I’m making great strides with the Tutorials and Quest System, which are crucial parts of the game. I’ll be rolling out updated versions on itch.io as I continue to polish things up, so you can still dive in and see the progress firsthand and for free.

I’ll also be putting more effort into marketing to get the word out about Endless RPG. While this might not be the best place to ask for help, any support from you is always appreciated! I will make some videos (long and short) as soon as I can.

  • [BUG] On Combat: when finishing the turn or the combat with far away area spells the combat queue doesn’t update and the combat doesn’t finish.
    • [MAJOR BUG]: When enemy Char is killed at the end of the attack, but not the animation, it will try to act and lock up the game
  • [BUG] Dungeon: Walk on nodes show line, but not the node
  • [BUG] Sometimes the combat crashes at the end
    • Wait until the end of XP distribution to skip
  • On Infinite Caves dialogues, do not allow fixed random seed

    • [FIX] Found an issue on window_get_width() returning zero
      • Employ safeguards to prevent failures
  • [NEW] Potions
    • Mood Up
      • Normal: Go up one mood level (price: normal potion)
      • Great: max mood (price: great potion)
    • Respec: reset Attributes (price: great potion)
  • Reload dialogue snippets on dialogue end

We are starting the Beta version of Endless RPG, Untold Tales. This means that while some systems are fully functional, others are still under development. Here's what you can expect:
