Guide for SERAPH's New Beginners (10) : Amulet & World ring

▶ Amulets, like equipment, come with attribute entries and need to be placed in an amulet bag to enhance abilities. Initially, the main consideration for amulets is their size for fitting into the bag. As you acquire more, you gradually need to consider forming amulet sets for additional ability boosts.

▶ Amulets are distinguished by size and pattern, with three sizes and thirteen patterns available (including the absence of a pattern as one option).

▶ Amulet Set Effects : Placing amulets with the same pattern in the amulet bag, and when the total faith value of these amulets reaches 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%, respective attribute effects are unlocked.

Example of “Ram” in Amulet Set Effects:

▶ The amulet bag can be accessed by opening the backpack and clicking the amulet bag button located in the top left corner (as shown in the image below ①), which will pop up on the left side. To unlock slots in the amulet bag, you'll need an Amulet Key (as shown in the image below ②), which can be obtained through Shrine purification.

▶ Amulet Keys can be acquired through 'Shrine Purification'. To find maps with Shrines, you can press the M key to open the map window. Maps with Shrines will have a specific iconbelow the map name.
▶ At the bottom of the map window, you can see the number of times 'Shrine Purification' can be performed in the current act and its progress.

▶ Clicking on a shrine on the map and starting the purification process will summon monsters to attack the player.
※ Many 'Shrine Purifications' require you to kill all the summoned monsters, but some shrines may require you to stand in a specific area for a certain amount of time or place a specific item to complete the purification.
※ During the character's leveling process, it's not necessary to force through some of the more difficult 'Shrine Purifications'; you can choose to return and complete them later when your leveling progress stalls.

▶ Completing a 'Shrine Purification' grants anAmulet Key.

▶ The World Ring gameplay is unlocked after defeating the boss of the first act. After that, defeating the boss of each act will yield a World Ring.

▶ When obtained, the World Ring is in an unidentified state and cannot be identified by normal identification scrolls. Instead, it must be identified by the "World Ring Purification" NPC in the camp. After visiting the "World Ring Purification" NPC and going to the "Origin Grounds," clicking on the altar in the middle of the map will bring up the World Ring processing options.

▶ Purifying the World Ring requires the material 'Amulet Fragments' and upon identification, you can obtain up to 5 attributes.

▶ The World Ring can have up to 5 attribute entries added, and the possible entries and their probabilities can be checked through thebutton in the attribute window.

▶ The 'Amulet Fragments' needed for purifying and enhancing the World Ring can be obtained by dismantling amulets; the 'Sacred World Core’ can be obtained by dismantling World Rings.

Guide for SERAPH's New Beginners (9) : Embedding

▶ Gems and jewels each possess unique attributes, and when socketed into equipment with slots, they can enhance corresponding attributes. Socketing can only be done through the 'Jeweler' NPC.

▶ Equipment socketing is only possible on Magic (blue gear) or Rare (yellow gear) quality items and requires the use of 'Perfect Socketing Stone' or 'Lucky Socketing Stone' as materials.
※ Equipment purchased from NPCs cannot be socketed. To accurately determine the number of sockets that can be made, the best method is to use the socket crafting feature of the 'Jeweler' NPC.
※ Common (white gear) items over level 28 may also come with sockets. Depending on the equipment, up to 6 sockets can be generated.

Perfect Socketing Stone : Guarantees a 100% chance to add +1 socket
※ But cannot exceed the maximum number of sockets that the equipment can have
Lucky Socketing Stone : Has a chance to change the number of sockets by either increasing or decreasing by 1
※ But cannot exceed the maximum number of sockets that the equipment can have

▶ Socketing : In the inventory, left-click on a gem or jewel, and while it is picked up, place it on the equipped item with an available slot to complete the socketing.

▶ Removing Socketed Items : At the 'Jeweler' NPC, select the socket processing → Remove Socketed Items, then place the item socketed with gems or jewels to remove them.
※ Removing gems or jewels requires the use of currency or materials.

▶ Gems : Divided into five grades: Chipped, Flawed, Regular, Flawless, and Perfect. Three gems of a lower grade can be combined to create one of the next higher grade.

▶ Each type of gem, when socketed into different pieces of equipment, provides a unique enhancement to attributes. Higher-grade gems yield greater attribute boosts.

▶ Jewels : Like equipment, jewels come in Magic, Rare, and Unique qualities and are defined by their prefixes and suffixes, which determine the jewel’s attribute entries. The number of attributes obtainable varies with quality. Jewel crafting and exchange can be done through the 'Jeweler' NPC.

▶ Jewel Crafting : Place the corresponding jewels according to crafting rules, and the affixes will change.
※ It's best to engage in crafting when you have a surplus of jewels.

▶ 5 jewels of the same quality can be exchanged for 1 unidentified new jewel.

Guide for SERAPH's New Beginners (8) : Equipment

Basic Information about Equipment

▶ Base Abilities
These are the properties set when an item is obtained, which remain unchanged even if the equipment undergoes processing. The higher the item level, the more likely it is to have better abilities.

▶ Equipment Quality (Item Grade) and Affixes
In Seraph, there are four types of equipment quality, with the number of affixes that can be obtained varying according to the item's level.

▶ Affixes are divided into prefixes and suffixes. Depending on the item level, the maximum number of affixes that can be added is as follows:

① Common and Unique quality equipment consist only of Base Stats and cannot have their affixes added or removed.
② Common quality equipment will definitely not have affixes, whereas Unique quality equipment can have up to 7 affixes.

▶ Unable to Repaired : When general equipment durability is consumed, it can be repaired at a blacksmith NPC. But If there is a message, it cannot be used when durability is consumed.
▶ Item Binding Status
Even items of the same type can differ based on their binding status, categorized into character-bound, account-bound, and tradable items.

Quality Forge

▶ Equipment quality modification can increase the number of affixes based on the equipment's quality, adding one affix and thereby adding one attribute entry to the equipment.
▶ Even after modifying equipment quality, the equipment’s “Base Attributes” will not change.

▶ After a quality transformation, for example, from Magic to Rare, the prefixes and suffixes obtained when the equipment was Magic will not change, each increasing by 2 entries.
※ There is a certain probability that the affixes could end up being empty.
※ The amount of materials required varies depending on the item level. If the item level exceeds 60, a certain amount of soul crystals will also be required.

Affixes

▶ Affix-related gameplay options include the following 7 types, which can be selected from the options on the right after inserting the equipment.
Choosing different gameplay options requires different materials:

▶ Once the equipment is placed, the required materials and their quantities will be automatically displayed. Material items can also be used in different binding states.
Clicking this button will show the possible attribute types and their probabilities.

Clicking this button will provide detailed value ranges and their probabilities.

Forge

▶ Materials related to equipment can be obtained through equipment disassembly, the quantity required varies depending on the item level.
▶ For equipment levels exceeding 60, a certain amount of Soul Crystals is also required.

Salvage

▶ Equipment dismantling can be carried out by the Blacksmith NPC.

▶ When dismantling equipment, the materials obtained vary depending on the quality of the equipment, including guaranteed materials and materials obtained by chance.

Skill & Item

▶ Choose equipment with attributes that increase skill levels!
If relying solely on skill points, each skill can only reach up to level 20.
However, if you have equipment with attributes that boost skill levels, then these skills can be further enhanced.

▶ Look for equipment with life or mana regeneration attributes!
During intense combat, it's easy to forget to drink potions, and your character could be killed by monsters as a result. Some equipment attributes allow you to recover some health or mana when killing or hitting monsters. If you fight with equipment that has these attributes, you can focus more on monster farming.

▶ Although attack power itself is important, choosing equipment with attributes that increase overall speed from the start to the end of an attack, like attack speed, cast speed, and fast hit recovery, is better!
Equipment with high attack power is a good foundation, but items that may have slightly lower attack power but enhance the detailed attack process, like attack speed, cast speed, and fast hit recovery, could be more beneficial.

▶ Don't forget to allocate skill points to skills with synergy bonuses!
Investing in certain skills can enhance related skills. So, some skills may not be used directly, but assigning skill points to them can bring numerical improvements to commonly used skills.
For example, enhancing the Barbarian's "Quick Throw" skill will also increase the damage of the "Whirlwind Axe" and "Storm Throw" skills.

▶ A distinction of SERAPH from other MMORPG games is that, compared to the numeric values of equipment, the skills and the attribute entries of equipment are more important.

Players can decide which types of skills to develop based on their habits and the items they have acquired, creating gameplay routes that align with their own gaming preferences.

Additionally, SERAPH will adopt a seasonal operation mode. The SERAPH development team will continuously work on various aspects such as game balance, listen to the players' opinions, and co-create the future with the players.

Guide for SERAPH's New Beginners (7) : Quest

▶ Clicking on the section labeled ① on the screen will display footprints leading to the NPC or location needed to complete a quest, indicating the direction the player needs to go.
▶ Pressing the Tab key brings up a semi-transparent map on the screen, allowing the player to check their character's location, NPCs' positions, and other overall details.

▶ When a quest can be completed, an NPC's head will display a "?" as shown in the illustration under ②, and a corresponding symbol (!) will appear on the map.

▶ The quest list is located at position ③ in the diagram, with main quests shown in yellow and side quests in green.
※ Tip : Main quests generally guide the game's progression, while side quests often provide additional growth items or currency.

▶ For Shrine gameplay, click on the shrine as shown in illustration ④, which requires various purification conditions. Completing the purification of the shrine grants an Amulet key.

▶ Weapons can be obtained through initial NPC quests, but to expedite character growth, armor needs to be purchased from an NPC before starting the next quest.

▶ In the game's first camp, the Blacksmith NPC is located at the position marked ① on the map (accessed by pressing the Tab key).

▶ Complete the first monster-killing quest and deliver it to the Blacksmith NPC to receive a gold reward. This is the time to buy a hat, clothes, gloves, belt, shoes—whatever fits your needs. Additionally, go to the weapon tab and purchase a better weapon than the one you got for the quest to make combat more convenient.

▶ If you're missing certain pieces of armor, you can head to the Potion and Sundries Merchant NPC, click on the Armor tab, and see if there’s the armor you need. Clicking the button and then clicking on the relevant part will display a guided route.

▶ Progressing through Main quests is a rapid way to grow your character. With each level up, characters receive attribute points to enhance their attributes and skill points to level up their skills. While undertaking main quests, players can also tackle Side Quests and Shrine purifications along their path.

▶ Uncompleted Side quests and Shrine purifications, when done as character growth begins to slow, can be completed more quickly and easily.

▶ Pressing the M key on the keyboard will open the map, where you can check for available quests.

Guide for SERAPH's New Beginners (6) : Class Introduction - Necromancer

A mad mage who defies taboos and warps life and death within his grasp. Capable of
fighting with curses and summons, as well as wielding polearm weapons for melee combat

Necromancers can use scythes, wands (staves), and shields. Wands can be combined with shields, or polearms can be used, depending on the main skill tree chosen.

Attribute Allocation : The method of allocating points for a Necromancer depends entirely on the main skills used. For spellcasting and the Crimson Curse series of skills, mainly add points to Energy; for the Bone Shadow series, the focus should be on Agility and Stamina. The Blasphemous Legion series also requires investment in Strength.

Skill Points : For a more relaxed gameplay focusing on spellcasting, allocate more points into the Crimson Curse skills; for those seeking thrilling melee combat, points should be added to the Bone Shadow skills.

Necromancer's All Skill Tree are as follows:
