We have optimized the matchmaking logic. Additionally, you can now view the status of matchmaking.

We expanded from one North American server to two regions.

[h3]New name display settings for streamers' nameplates have been added![/h3]
In the options menu, you can toggle the display of your name in-game and on the nameplate. Streamers, please use this feature according to your needs!

[h3]Request to Select Server Region[/h3]
Currently, there is an issue where you may connect to a server that is not optimal for matchmaking. By selecting a server region close to your location, you can enjoy a smoother gaming experience.
From the "Select Play Mode" on the home screen, you can choose from the following regions:
"US East," "US West," "Europe," and "Asia."
Note: If you are having difficulty finding a match, please switch to "Auto."

The error message “Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed” on Steam has been addressed again.
Fixed the problem that the invite function does not work.

If you continue to receive the Easy Anti-Cheat error, we would appreciate it if you could try the following methods to resolve the issue.
・Go to the game installation folder in Explorer.
・Right-click on “InstallEAC.bat” in the folder and select “Run as administrator".

If you cannot use the invite function, please try the following method, which may solve the problem.
・Go to the game installation folder in Explorer.
・Right-click on “InstallEAC.bat” in the “EpicOnlineServices”folder and select “Run as administrator".

Below are the questions and answers we received most frequently yesterday.

Q: I can’t seem to match with other players.
A: If you cancel the matchmaking process within 100 seconds and try again, it may help if you wait around 180 seconds for better results.

• At the beginning of matchmaking, we try to account for latency and player skill level, but the conditions become more lenient as time passes to make matchmaking easier. Currently, there is a known issue where, even though matchmaking is completed internally, the player is not guided to the floating island for several seconds.
  
• If you cancel during this period, you may cancel participation in that match as well.
  

We are working to address this issue, and we apologize for any inconvenience in the meantime.

Q: I am experiencing a lot of lag.
A: To prioritize faster matchmaking, you may sometimes be connected to a distant server. You can select your preferred server region through the “Play Mode” settings to improve your connection.

We’ve observed that the North American server may experience high latency depending on the player’s region. We’re working to add more server locations.

Q: I get a “Fatal Error” when trying to launch the game.
A: This issue has been observed when launching directly from the executable file in the installation folder. Please start the game through the store launcher or the shortcut created during installation.

Q: The game won’t launch, saying Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed.
A: Please make sure you have the latest version of the game. If the error continues to appear, please try the following steps:

1. Open your file explorer and navigate to the game’s installation folder.
   
2. Right-click the “InstallEAC.bat” file and select “Run as Administrator.”
   

Q: The invite function to become a party is not available.
A: Please make sure you have the latest version of the game. If the error continues to appear, please try the following steps:

Q: The game stutters and the performance is unstable.
A: This issue may occur if you are using mouse control-related applications. Please disable any mouse control applications while playing Faaast Penguin.
