Hey Everyone,

Just a small hotfix which should resolve some situations where your units ignore enemies or enemies walk through walls.

  • Fixed some situations where the AI would ignore enemies and buildings
  • Increased mutant resurrection range
  • Fixed units that can't target fliers being able to manually attack them
  • Fixed geyser placement highlight
  • Fixed the Hover Tank not unlocking the RoboForge

Hotfix 0.1e Bug Fixes, Building Rotation

Hey Everyone,

Bug fixing continues, I've also added in building rotation which many people have been requesting. This currently only impacts the Barracks and RoboForge. Another QoL feature added is a more obvious alarm if your non-fortification buildings are being hit.

  • Added building rotation, R by default. Currently only relevant for the recruitment buildings.
  • Added an extra sound effect if a non-fortification building is attacked. It has priority over the normal warning and triggers more often.
  • Added a -15% speed penalty to The Sludge commander's forces
  • Fixed scroll sensitivity resetting
  • Fixed some situations where orbitors would disappear
  • Fixed DOT abilities like the pyro's Napalm not triggering
  • Fixed Life Support area of effect
  • Fixed the RFI being replaced by The Goo as a horde faction on load
  • Fixed the cost of ore from the Recycler being too high
  • Fixed some misnamed buildings
  • Fixed the difficulty achievements not triggering
  • Fixed batteries causing permanent max energy loss when powered off
  • Fixed enemies unburrowing in your base on load
  • Fixed The Sludge being selected as a commander too often
  • Fixed level 10's perk selection breaking
  • Fixed the Drop Pod Launcher not carrying across in saved games
  • Fixed some queued unit sprites
  • Added the Move binding to the controls panel

Hey Everyone,

Here's another update that should fix more bugs highlighted by the community. There are also some small QoL changes.

  • Fixed a case where enemies would walk through walls
  • Fixed being unable to place buildings near units in garrisoned bunkers (The cause of most of the broken building placement reports)
  • Fixed Fleet Support Earned not displaying the correct value
  • Fixed the beam cannon not requiring the correct amount of resources
  • Fixed connectors sometimes not routing correctly when dragged near other connectors
  • Fixed localization breaking when the game opens, causing levels to not load
  • Fixed the size of the barracks's blocked area
  • Fixed The Physicist unlocking research they shouldn't have access to...yet
  • Robotics will now correctly generate 6 effort instead of 4 from biomes
  • Fixed the lvl 3 Thruster not showing the correct cost
  • Power and water pickups should now carry across to saved games
  • Fixed ship energy not being correct on load
  • Fixed ship research numbers displaying incorrectly
  • Fixed alt tabbing while multiselect is active causing control problems
  • Fixed the captain panel unpausing the game if you have tutorials on
  • WASD won't move the camera while in the save/load menu
  • Small fixes to the GUI

Hey Everyone,

Here's another update that should fix some major bugs highlighted by the community. There are also some small QoL changes.

0.1c

  • Fixed a bug that would cause buildings to be placed en-masse unintentionally
  • Fixed infinite upgrades when selecting "Field Upgrades"
  • Fixed energy and health carrying across games if a game is left and another started with the same captain
  • You can now deselect buildings by holding shift (multiselect) and clicking on them
  • Fixed the cursor not resetting when spawning your captain
  • Added a water indicator to houses if they are powered off due to insufficient water production
  • Fixed saved games where a neutral village has been destroyed not running correctly
  • Improved some GUI text for rocket and plasma androids
  • Walls will now be highlighted on a smaller grid

Hotfix 0.1b + Tutorial panels should now trigger correctly

Hey Everyone

These are the hotfixes for today. Special thanks to rhys_vdw for letting me know the tutorials weren't appearing. Great job everyone for surviving without those!

  • Tutorial panels will now appear if toggled at main menu
  • Fixed the cooldown adjustment for The Savant's "Borrowed Reactor" ability
  • Hero energy will now increase faster if max energy is over 100
  • Fixed patrol waypoints remaining if the unit is then given an attack order
  • Fixed unit animation if given an attack order while patrolling
  • Esc will now close panels or open the menu panel if no other panels are open
  • Fixed The Physicist being able to research the walker
  • Fixed the robotics building giving effort for buildings already in use
  • Fixed an incorrect number of the cycles shown for The Simulator in the main menu
  • Fixed double clicking on units selecting units in bunkers
  • Fixed the neutral camps not detecting power in the correct position
