Daevas all over Atreia come together during this period to enjoy the festivities of the ‘Celentine Days’. This festival is a combination of Valentine’s Day and the lunar new year. The capital cities of Sanctum and Pandaemonium are decked out with colourful decorations and lots of people have been eagerly anticipating this marvellous atmosphere for weeks now.

Pets are playing a massive role here this year – that’s why Daevas will be surprised with fitting gifts and can look forward to various rewards. Grab items such as [Extra] Transformation Contract: Mouse Ranger, [Event] Divine Perfection Wardrobe, [Event] ‘Stomach Butterflies’ Wings and lots more!

[h3]Event Activities[/h3]
The festive order during the Celentine Days is very simple:

• Complete Celentine quests and earn yourself a new costume and wings.
• Feed your Celentine pet and get rewards for it.
• Pick up free buffs in the capital cities.

[h3]The Celentine Quests[/h3]
Event NPC Celentina can be found in the capital cities and has two quests for you:

The quest ‘Collect Pieces of Silk’ requires you to collect 30 Pieces of Silk, and in return you’ll be rewarded with the Divine Perfection Wardrobe and the ‘Stomach Butterflies’ Wings.

The quest ‘Happy Celentine’ rewards you with an Antipaari Egg (21 days) so you don’t have to spend the festival alone.


[h3]The Celentine Pet[/h3]
Feed your pet:

The Antipaari Egg can be hatched with the Pet Summoner. It then stays by your side for 21 days.

When you’re hunting for monsters, you can collect the event items Cute Cacao and Tteok Powder for your pet. Once you’ve collected enough, you’ll receive a Choco Tteok.

It takes a little time to feed the Antipaari pet because these pets are big eaters: Antipaari pets can get full when they eat between 90 and 110 Cute Cacao and Tteok Powder. The number of meals can vary depending on the situation. Pets who are full won’t eat any more. They start getting hungry again roughly 2 hours after receiving the last gift.

Here’s how you get the food:

• Pet food can be obtained from monsters in all territories and instances apart from Poeta and Ishalgen.
• Monsters that normally don’t drop items also won’t drop pet food for you. The chance of a drop is lower for monsters who are a much higher level than you. If the level difference is too big, these monsters won’t drop any food at all.
• If you’re playing with others and you get food by defeating several monsters, you’ll get the loot if yours was the biggest contribution to the victory.
• If you’re playing in a group or alliance, each player receives the food according to the loot settings.

[h3]Free buffs[/h3]
The free buffs can be picked up at the big square in Sanctum and Pandaemonium. They each last 30 minutes and remain after death.

Generous Heart → increases the amount of natural HP regeneration by 32 points and the amount of natural MP regeneration by 43 points.

Heart Fairy→ here you can choose between two buffs:

• Sweet Chocolate increases your HP by 900, crit hit by 450 and MP by 630 points.
• Hot Rice Cake Soup increases your HP by 900, crit hit by 450 and MP by 630 points.

Note: the items [Event] Cute Cacao, [Event] Tteok Powder, [Event] Choco Tteok, [Event] Piece of Silk, [Event] Antipaari Egg (21 days) and Antipaari Gift will be removed from the game after the event is over.

The famous archaeologist Indiana Jonshunerk is currently travelling all over Atreia in search of various relics from a long forgotten age. He wants to concentrate on his work and avoid any conflict in the process, so he’s hiring brave Daevas like you! According to the rumours though, some monsters have gone on a rampage around the excavation site and stolen lots of ancient items. Help Indiana Jonshunerk to retrieve the relics and grab yourself lots of valuable rewards!



Running: 9th February to 2nd March


[h3]The Ruin Relics[/h3]
The lost treasures that you need to recover for Indiana Jonshunerk come in 7 different levels. In archaeologist jargon, they’re called ‘Atreia Ruin Relics’. These relics contain even more treasure: the Atreia Ruin Relic (Level 1), for example, contains either the Atreia Ruin Relic (Level 2), an Atreia Ruin Relic Fragment or another item. The rewards you can receive increases with each level.

If you collect 10 Atreia Ruin Relic Fragments, you can combine these into an Atreia Ruin Relic (Level 1).


[h3]The Hero Trials[/h3]
Three Hero Trials are open to you during the event period in which you go hunting for monsters in different regions:

• [Account] Research in Elysea and Asmodae: Protect Indiana Jonshunerk while he carries out his research in Elysea and Asmodae.
• [Account] Research in Central Balaurea: Protect Indiana Jonshunerk while he carries out his research in Inggison and Gelkmaros.
• [Account] Research in South Balaurea: Protect Indiana Jonshunerk while he carries out his research in Lakrum, Dumaha and Aphsaranta.

Completing all quests will complete the final quest ‘[Account] Indiana Jonshunerk’s Proud Bodyguard’, which rewards you with the following items:
Archaeologist Hat, Archaeologist Costume, Lightning Steed, [Event] Pledge Tablet and Daevanion Trait Skill Book Box (10 types).


[h3]Loot in the Open World[/h3]
Very special look awaits you in the open world – pay a visit to the regions Gelkmaros, Inggison, Silentera Canyon, Dumaha, Lakrum, Red Katalam (North) and Aphsaranta and defeat the monsters! Sometimes the drop chance in some regions is better than in others.

[h3]Notes[/h3]

• The Hero Trials marked ‘[Account]’ can only be completed once per account.
• You can collect your rewards from the mailbox in the shop. You can assign them to a character from there (Manage bonuses → Allocatable rewards).
• Defeated monsters count towards the quest if you have gained XP by killing them. If you die, you don’t get any XP, and the monsters you killed don’t count towards the quest. Not all monsters count towards the quests. If that’s the case, kill a few more to reach your target.
• The items [Event] Jorgoth’s Half-Weapons Chest Fragment, Atreia Ruin Relic (Level 1 to 7) and Atreia Ruin Relic Fragments will be removed from the game after the event is over.

A new year is here and the Daevas greet it with mysterious snowflakes: the landscape and cities of Atreia are covered in beautiful white and silver! Join in, collect the snowflakes and upgrade them. Snowflakes aren’t merely frozen water – they’re true gifts from the heavens and can earn you valuable items like the New Year Wings, the [Event] Extreme Equipment Selection Box and the [Rune] Legendary New Year’s Transformation Contract (13 types).



The event runs from 19/1/2022 to 9/2/2022.


[h3]Collect Snowflakes[/h3]
Complete Lugbug Missions, defeat bosses in instances and exchange Winter Coins to get your hands on the prized snowflakes. You can also buy extra snowflakes in the AION Shop.



Lugbug Missions

You earn snowflakes by completing daily Lugbug Missions.



Winter Coins

You receive Winter Coins from failed upgrades of snowflakes. Visit the NPC Gerda in the capital cities of Sanctum and Pandaemonium to get new snowflakes in exchange for coins.



Boss Monsters

Defeat monster in the following instances and each group member will receive a snowflake:

• Lower Udas Temple
• Prometun’s Workshop (normal/difficult)
• Makarna of Bitterness (difficult)
• Stella Development Laboratory (easy/normal)
• Beninerk’s Manor (easy/normal)
• Ara Infernalia (easy/normal)
• Beshmundir Storm Temple (easy/normal)
• Heart of Aphsaranta

AION Shop

You can get extra snowflakes from the various bundles on offer in the AION Shop. You can also get the items [Jakunerk] Aura Fragment and [Jakunerk] Snow Crystal here, which you’ll need to craft the [Jakunerk] Prism.


[h3]Upgrading snowflakes[/h3]
To upgrade the snowflakes, double-click them and they’ll either gain a level or be destroyed. A successful upgrade from level 1 to 7 gives you an extra snowflake. From level 4 to 9 you might also get a Snow Crystal as a bonus. If you succeed at an upgrade from level 9 to 10, you’ll get the items [Jakunerk] Aura Fragment and [Jakunerk] Snow Crystal, which let you craft the [Jakunerk] Prism that contains lots of valuable items.

A failed upgrade from level 1 to 7 will give you a Winter Coin. If an upgrade from level 7 to 8 fails, you’ll receive the [Jakunerk] Bundle of Opportunity, from level 8 to 9 will give you the [Jakunerk] Bundle of Missed Opportunity and failed attempts from level 9 to 10 earn you the [Jakunerk] Bundle of Promising Opportunity.


[h3]Rewards[/h3]

Note: The items Winter Coin, +1 to +10 Snowflake, [Jakunerk] Bundle of Opportunity, [Jakunerk] Bundle of Missed Opportunity, {Jakunerk] Bundle of Promising Opportunity, [Jakunerk] Aura Fragment, [Jakunerk] Snow Crystal and [Jakunerk] Prism will be removed from the game at the end of the event.

A glowing meteorite shower has descended upon Gelkmaros and Inggison, revealing a hidden entrance to the Secret Hellpath. Explore the area and defeat the monsters before they invade Balaurea. Awards await you like the [Rune] Transformation Contract: Ereshkigal, [Rune] Box of Class S Minion Contracts (10 types) and the +6 Extreme Equipment Chest!

The event runs from 19/01/2022 to 09/02/2022


[h3]Venture Down the Hellpath[/h3]
Speak with Snoopinerk who will give you the task to enter the Secret Hellpath. Then it’s up to you to defend Atreia against the monster invasion for 20 minutes.

Use the Energy of Protection dropped by fallen monsters – destroying them gives you a currency which you can spend on weapons for the instance, as well as improvements to your skills.

Depending on how well you do during the defence, you’ll receive the following rewards:

• 10:00 minutes remaining and 500,000 points earned → 3x [Event] Camo Chest Key, 5x [Event] Experience Crystal and 1x Investigation Report about the Secret Hellpath
• 7:30 minutes remaining and 500,000 points earned → 1x [Event] Camo Chest Key, 2x [Event] Experience Crystal and 1x Investigation Report about the Secret Hellpath

If you have less then 7:30 minutes remaining and earned fewer than 220,000 points, you’ll go away empty-handed.

• There’s now a new key type which can only open the Gold Camo Chest. You can only get this key from the Wildcat.

[h3]The Wildcat[/h3]
During your battle on the Hellpath, you’ll meet a nasty Wildcat. Defeat it and then grab the Incognito Key which enables you to open a door and gain access to a Gold Camo Chest. Just note that you’ll lose this key as soon as you leave the instance.

• There’s a special key type which can only open the Gold Camo Chest. You can only get this key from the Wildcat.

[h3]Get Meteorite Debris[/h3]
As a reward, you can get a [Rune] Orichalcon Hammer from the Camo Chest or the AION Shop. You can use this to process the remnants of the Glowing Meteorite to get the [Rune] Glowing Meteorite Bundle.

You can either use a hammer to receive one bundle or use 30 hammers to get 33 bundles (or 36 with a little luck).

Note: The items [Rune] Orichalcon Hammer, [Rune] Glowing Meteorite Bundle, Snoopinerk’s Gift Pack, Incognito Key and Entry Scroll for the Contaminated Hellpath will be removed from the game and AION Shop after the event.

The time has come: AION 8.0 – Part 2 is now live on the European servers!


[h3]What’s New[/h3]
Broker Battles: if your faction occupies all 13 operational areas in Aphsaranta, the other faction’s brokers will appear on the border bridge. Defeat the enemy brokers and grab the loot.

Rescue Missions: as soon as the Elyos occupy the 6th Base or the Asmodians the 9th Base, they can free the opposing faction’s prisoners and thereby reap valuable rewards.

Surprise Attacks on the Brokers: Get the Secret Order and carry out the assassination once the Elyos occupy the 10th Base or the Asmodians the 13th Base. An assassin who carries out their mission with a level head will be richly rewarded.

Dangerous Deliveries: play two variants of ‘Goods Transport’ and deliver an important load in a risky situation or defend the suppliers from monster attacks.

Tower of Challenge: You can also look forward to the new Tower of Challenge level and many more features.
