A glowing meteorite shower has descended upon Gelkmaros and Inggison, revealing a hidden entrance to the Secret Hellpath. Explore the area and defeat the monsters before they invade Balaurea. Awards await you like the [Rune] Transformation Contract: Ereshkigal, [Rune] Box of Class S Minion Contracts (10 types) and the +6 Extreme Equipment Chest!

The event runs from 19/01/2022 to 09/02/2022


[h3]Venture Down the Hellpath[/h3]
Speak with Snoopinerk who will give you the task to enter the Secret Hellpath. Then it’s up to you to defend Atreia against the monster invasion for 20 minutes.

Use the Energy of Protection dropped by fallen monsters – destroying them gives you a currency which you can spend on weapons for the instance, as well as improvements to your skills.

Depending on how well you do during the defence, you’ll receive the following rewards:

• 10:00 minutes remaining and 500,000 points earned → 3x [Event] Camo Chest Key, 5x [Event] Experience Crystal and 1x Investigation Report about the Secret Hellpath
• 7:30 minutes remaining and 500,000 points earned → 1x [Event] Camo Chest Key, 2x [Event] Experience Crystal and 1x Investigation Report about the Secret Hellpath

If you have less then 7:30 minutes remaining and earned fewer than 220,000 points, you’ll go away empty-handed.

• There’s now a new key type which can only open the Gold Camo Chest. You can only get this key from the Wildcat.

[h3]The Wildcat[/h3]
During your battle on the Hellpath, you’ll meet a nasty Wildcat. Defeat it and then grab the Incognito Key which enables you to open a door and gain access to a Gold Camo Chest. Just note that you’ll lose this key as soon as you leave the instance.

• There’s a special key type which can only open the Gold Camo Chest. You can only get this key from the Wildcat.

[h3]Get Meteorite Debris[/h3]
As a reward, you can get a [Rune] Orichalcon Hammer from the Camo Chest or the AION Shop. You can use this to process the remnants of the Glowing Meteorite to get the [Rune] Glowing Meteorite Bundle.

You can either use a hammer to receive one bundle or use 30 hammers to get 33 bundles (or 36 with a little luck).

Note: The items [Rune] Orichalcon Hammer, [Rune] Glowing Meteorite Bundle, Snoopinerk’s Gift Pack, Incognito Key and Entry Scroll for the Contaminated Hellpath will be removed from the game and AION Shop after the event.

[h3]What’s New[/h3]
Broker Battles: if your faction occupies all 13 operational areas in Aphsaranta, the other faction’s brokers will appear on the border bridge. Defeat the enemy brokers and grab the loot.

Rescue Missions: as soon as the Elyos occupy the 6th Base or the Asmodians the 9th Base, they can free the opposing faction’s prisoners and thereby reap valuable rewards.

Surprise Attacks on the Brokers: Get the Secret Order and carry out the assassination once the Elyos occupy the 10th Base or the Asmodians the 13th Base. An assassin who carries out their mission with a level head will be richly rewarded.

Dangerous Deliveries: play two variants of ‘Goods Transport’ and deliver an important load in a risky situation or defend the suppliers from monster attacks.

Tower of Challenge: You can also look forward to the new Tower of Challenge level and many more features.

Emergency in Aphsaranta: support and defend the suppliers from monster attacks while they move through Aphsaranta. You’ll receive a reward if they reach their destination without a scratch.

Right in time for the start of winter, the Winter Park in Atreia will be opening its doors for the first time: experience exciting quests, earn experience points, take on raid bosses twice daily, and pick up lots of rewards in the process – including an Ultimate Kaisinel Treasure Chest, a [Event] Warm Down Jacket (silver), and the [Event] Selection Box: Warm Masquerade!



The event runs from: 15/12/2021 to 12/1/2022


[h3]Entry into the Winter Park[/h3]
The Winter Park can be accessed by all Daevas from level 76. You can find the entrance to the Winter Park in Sanctum and Pandaemonium, as well as in the Inggison Illusion Fortress and Gelkmaros Fortress.

Once you’ve made your way into the Winter Park, complete Ramzi’s quest to get the [Event] Winter Park Entry Crystal. You can use this to re-enter the park as many times as you want, no matter where you are. Get involved in event activities to earn Winter Park coins, which you can exchange for rewards at the three different NPCs.


[h3]Winter Park activities[/h3]
Daily login and experience points

Logging in daily and staying online earns you one [Event] Winter Park Coin every 30 minutes (max. 10 coins). The ice rink is located in the main area of the Winter Park. If you remain in the vicinity, your hero will also benefit from additional experience points.



The Sprint Race

Accept Domenick’s daily task and try to slide down a slope while passing through the gates along the way. Earn 5x [Event] Winter Park Coins as a reward.



The Ice Sculptures

You can also earn five Winter Park Coins in this activity: Talk to Ramzi and help collect “[Event] Suspicious Blocks of Ice” for the beautiful ice sculptures.



The Winter Park Queen

The Winter Park Queen appears daily at 6:30 PM and 9:30 PM on the ice rink in the Winter Park! Defeat her to make the Sweet Snowman and the Christmas Chest appear. The Sweet Snowman gives you 3,000,000 XP and the Christmas Chest can contain between 3 and 20 Winter Park Coins.

Ramzi also offers a daily quest, which also involves riling the Winter Park Queen. You will be rewarded with 8,000,000 XP and 5x Winter Park Coins.


[h3]Rewards[/h3]
You can exchange the Winter Park coins you earn from your activities for rewards from the following NPCs:

• Get the [Event] Winter Park Gacha reward for 5x Winter Park Coins from the Winter Park Claw Machine. You can find an overview of the contents in our list of rewards.
• You can use the coins to get Entry Scrolls and costumes from Meri.
• Christmas Carol sells various consumables for coins.

Note: the items [Event] Winter Park Entry Crystal, [Event] Winter Park Coin, [Event] Housewarming Cake, [Event] Warm Food, [Event] Winter Park Gacha Reward and [Event] Warm Drink will be removed from the game after the event is over.

It’s that time again: AION is presenting a new round of Elite levels! This is your chance to gain some levels and rake in a lot of precious loot.

This time with new exciting Elite rewards such as the Extreme Weapon Selection Box, the [12th Anniversary] Ultimate Transformation Chance (21 types), the Glowing Odian Chest and many more items.




[h3]The Elite levels work as follows:[/h3]

• If you’ve reached Veteran level 80, each Gold Pack (30 days) used in the game increases your Elite level by 1.
• Each Elite level you reach unlocks additional rewards which can only be assigned to one of your characters.
• In contrast to the existing Veteran levels, the Elite level rewards are not reset after 6 months, so they can be applied to another character.
• As with the regular Veteran levels, the individual rewards can be seen in the tooltips from the respective levels in the veteran system.

[h3]Further information:[/h3]

• The published Elite levels are available until 26th January 2022. After that, no further Elite levels can be reached by activating Gold Packs (30 days).
• Your existing Elite rewards remain available to you. These can be viewed and assigned to an individual character in the section ‘Elite Rewards’ under ‘Manage bonuses’.
• In the overview you can still see which and how many Elite levels you have achieved.
• A countdown shows how long the Elite level period has to run.
