The Black Cloud Merchants are again running their popular Shugo Game in which you can win valuable prizes – including items like the Lord’s Transformation Contract (2 types), the Flying Saucer and the [Emotion Card] Selfie.



Running: 4th August to 25th August

To take part, you will need Shugo Game Tokens, which you can purchase in the shop at the beginning of the event. During the event period you will also receive three Shugo Game Tokens per week for free in the AION Shop.


[h3]How the Shugo Game Works[/h3]

• Open the Shugo Game by clicking on the Shugo symbol at the bottom-right side of the screen.
• Then, by clicking on ‘Continue’, the game will start and a Shugo Game Token will be used up.
• Try to upgrade the weapon to the maximum level (8) to then earn reward of the highest level.
• Naturally you can click on ‘Stop’ at any time to end the game and collect the reward for the level that you have attained.
• The upgrading can also fail. Should this happen, you will receive the reward for level 1. If you wish to start from the beginning, you will need another Shugo Game Token.
• By using Shugo Game Tokens, the upper bar fills with Shugo Game Points. Once it is full, the Nyerk Fever begins. As long as this is active, your chances of successfully upgrading increase and it is more likely that you will win more valuable prizes.

[h3]Notes[/h3]

• On 25th August, the [Jakunerk] Shugo Game Tokens and Lucky Coins will be removed from the AION Shop, but the Shugo Game will continue until 1st September, giving you more time to consume the items you’ve purchased.
• You will automatically be given the prize for the level that you got to if you log out or switch to a different character while participating in the Shugo Game. The game cannot be continued.
• If you reach level 6 or higher and the upgrade fails, you will be able to use two additional Shugo Game Tokens to try again from the level that you failed at.

The water park in the capitals is still open and to offer Daevas some hard-earned refreshment. But the summer heat has awakened the Fire Spirits which are gathering throughout Atreia. The spirits are spreading flames everywhere they go, and the Atreian Fire Brigade has their hands full extinguishing all the fires. The Fire Spirits are using the chaos to their advantage to set even more fires. If Daeva doesn’t act now, all of Atreia could go up in flames!

Give us a hand in putting an end to the havoc caused by the Fire Spirits’ and look forward to rewards like the Transformation Contract: Ereshkigal, the Nautical Suit (Return) and the [Event] Vision Weapons Selection Box!

[h3]Extinguish the fire[/h3]
Collect Splashies needed to fight the Fire Spirits:

• • Daily login: stay logged in for 1 hour to get 1x [Event] Splashy (max. 5 per day). If you stay logged in for 3 hour you get 3x [Event] Splashy (max. 1 per day)
• • Brandinerk: This NPC offers you 15x [Event] Splashy daily for a price of 800,000 Kinah each.
• • Lugbug missions: complete the Lugbug missions and get more Splashies.

[h3]Hunting the arsonists[/h3]
Use your Splashies to take out the Fire Spirits. Get rewarded with the [Event] Fire Brigade Gift and the [Event] Volunteer Fire Brigade Gift Box.

Little Spirit Guide

Our scouts have put together this Little Spirit Guide to help you identify the evil doers. Please note that the monsters only count for the player who dealt the most damage. So it’s recommended that you go hunting alone.

• • You can find Ember Monsters in Gelkmaros and Inggison Your attacks deal 1 damage. You need 1 Splashy to defeat them.
• • Fire monsters appear in Gelkmaros and Inggison daily between 8 PM and 9 PM. Your attacks deal 1 damage. You need 3 Splashies to defeat them.
• • The Awakened Flame appears on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 9 PM and 10 PM in 1 to 3 possible locations in Gelkmaros and Inggison.

Please note: The items [Event] Splashy, [Event] Volunteer Fire Brigade Gift Box, [Event] Fire Brigade Gift, Key for Locked Selection Box of Hanbok Pixel Transformation Contracts and Locked Selection Box of Hanbok Pixel Transformation Contracts will be removed from the game after the event is over.

The hot summer weather has arrived in Atreia. It’s the perfect time for Mininerk and Minirinerk to take a vacation to Gelkmaros and Inggison! This is where Minirinerk discovered her love of Minion Ice Jewellery. Daeva can get some for her with Mininerk’s help and get fantastic Minion treasures from her in exchange – among them the [Rune] Raffle Chest of Class S Minion Contracts, the [Rune] Selection Box of Class A, Level 4 Minion Contracts (5 types) or a [Rune] Bundle of Class S Minionite (150 pieces)!

[h3]Trade with Mininerk[/h3]
To fulfil his partner’s wishes, you can exchange 1x [Rune] Minion’s Ice Block and 100x Class A Minionite with Mininerk for 1x [Rune] Minion Ice Jewel.

This is how to get a [Rune] Minion’s Ice Block:

• Buy the ice block in the AION Shop individually or in the Giant Minion’s Ice Block Chest together with Class A Minionite.
• In the AION Shop you can pick up 1x Minion’s Ice Block Gift Box per account for free which give you 4 ice blocks.

[h3]Minirinerk’s Shop[/h3]
Once you have received [Rune] Minion Ice Jewels from Mininerk, you can exchange them with Minirinerk for different Minion items, including:

• [Rune] Raffle Chest of Class S Minion Contracts
• [Rune] Selection Box of Class A, Level 4 Minion Contracts (5 types)
• [Rune] Bundle of Class S Minionite (150 pieces)

In search of summer decorations in a storeroom, a couple of Shugos stumbled upon a box with ‘Summer Cube’ printed on it. They found mysterious, glowing summer ice cubes inside. These cubes are imbued with a marvellous energy which bestow their owners with precious items– including the [Rune] Ultimate Transformation Selection Box (4 types), the [Rune] Snow Fox Transformation Contract (2 types) and the Item +8 Extreme Equipment Chest/Enchantment Stone!


[h3]Collect the Summer Cubes[/h3]
How to get the Summer Cubes:

• In the AION Shop you can pick up 3 [Rune] Summer Cube (Level 1) 1x weekly per account for free.
• The Summer Cubes are available individually or in packs of 25: the ice cold Summer Cube Box contains 20 level 1 cubes and 5 level 3 cubes.

[h3]Improve the Summer Cubes[/h3]
If you click on a cube, it will either be upgraded or you’ll receive a reward. Cubes come in levels 1 to 7. The items a cube bestows improve with each upgrade level. For example: the [Rune] Summer Cube (Level 1) contains either the Insignia of Experience or the (Rune] Summer Cube (Level 2).

Complete the Hero Trials and send the Granker King’s minions packing. In reward there are a host of great items including: Box of Glowing Odian Fragments, [Event] Legendary Transformation Contract Fragment, Bundle of Ultimate PvP Enchantment Stones.

You can take on two different Hero Trials which have to be completed:


[h3]The invasion in Gelkmaros and Inggison[/h3]
Potcrabs and Sweaties have been spotted in Gelkmaros and Inggison! They must be Peons belonging to Debilkarim the Maker, who has formed an alliance with the powerful Granker King. It is now up to Daevas (level 76 and above) to nip this invasion in the bud:

• Stop the Potcrabs and Debilkarim in the 2-week quest [Event][Account] Potcrabs and Co.
• Put a stop to the Sweaties’ mischief in the daily quest [Event][Account] Sweaty Swarm!

[h3]The Daeva fightback[/h3]
The Daevas are hunting down their enemies in retaliation for the insidious invasion. Assemble your comrades-in-arms (level 78 and above) and fight for the freedom of Atreia in 12 different weekly quests.

• Infiltration: Creep into your enemies’ territory, kill their monsters and conquer fortresses and gates.
• Raids: Defeat the world bosses in Balaurea.
• Attack and defence: seize control of the garrisons in Lakrum and defend the Winding Tower or capture the altars in Dumaha.

You can earn extra rewards once a week by completing 9 of the 12 available weekly quests.


[h3]Little Monster Guide[/h3]
To make it easier for you to find the monsters in these Hero Trials, we have compiled a brief guide to the monsters:

General tips

• → Redclaw Potcrabs love being in water, whereas Sweaties feel at home anywhere.
• → The items Teleport Scroll Box: Neutral Dumaha Landing Site and Teleport Scroll Box: Neutral Lakrum Base can prove very useful for reaching the world bosses more quickly. Get them from the relevant Level 5 Glory Merchant.

Gelkmaros

• → Ragnarok usually appears on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Tuesdays.
• → Twist, Chieftain Ulagu, Elder Jora and Sassy Terdit appear several times a day.
• → Brigade General Suthran, Aegir, Pontecai, Votan and Bard appear daily.
• → Marchutan’s Awakened Agent usually appears on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Tuesdays.

Inggison

• → Omega usually appears on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Tuesdays.
• → Elder Zanuta, Elder Narikiki, Latzio Stoneheart and Captain Voltayre appear several times a day.
• → Brigade General Spatalos, Telemachus, Jiskur, Michalis and Tirins appear daily.
• → Kaisinel’s Awakened Agent usually appears on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Tuesdays.

Silentera Canyon

• → Strike Troop Commander Marakan, Protectorate Commander Trech and Mage Cohort Leader Rahodun appear several times a day.
• → Frenzied Debilkarim the Maker and Awakened Adjutant Anuhart usually appear on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Tuesdays.

Lakrum

• → Scout Leader Kabar, Scout Leader Paltan, Inspector Keprata, Major Hatsnich and Raging Rahulant appear several times a day.
• → Crazed Anomos usually appears on Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays and Tuesdays.

Dumaha

• → Captain Barikuda, Rudeboy Oderkwan, Sensitive Chuskin, Captain Fabelsag, High Priest Dunu and Zefirun appear several times on Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays and Mondays.
• → Pupuru, Yanohas, Rachmaga and Kadabra appear on Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays and Mondays.

[h3]Notes on the Hero Trials[/h3]
The Hero Trials marked ‘[Account]’ can only be completed once per account.

You can collect your rewards from the mailbox in the shop. You can assign them to a character from there (Manage bonuses → Allocatable rewards).

Defeated monsters count towards the quest if you have gained XP by killing them. If you die, you don’t get any XP, and the monsters you killed don’t count towards the quest.







Note: the items [Event] Legendary Transformation Contract Fragment and [Event] Legendary Transformation Contract Reagent will be removed from the game at the end of the event.
