NEW ELITE REWARDS

Elite Rewards updated: level up your heroes now and get enticing rewards!

[h3]New Elite levels:[/h3]
Timeframe: 17/3 to 21/4

The Elite levels are back – and better than ever! The Veteran system is being expanded: in future you’ll be able to access completely new Elite levels!

The current Elite levels will now be expanded with the addition of 20 brand new levels so that you can prove once again that you’re one of the most seasoned Veterans in Atreia. Just like last time, a whole slew of coveted rewards are up for grabs – the best of the Elite rewards include:
  • [Rune] Selection Box of Legendary Transformation Contracts (13 types)
  • [Rune] Vision Weapons Selection Box
  • Noble Odian Chest

[h3]The Elite levels work as follows:[/h3]
  • • If you’ve reached Veteran level 80, each Gold Pack (30 days) used in the game increases your Elite level by 1.
  • • Each Elite level you reach unlocks additional rewards which can only be assigned to one of your characters.
  • • In contrast to the existing Veteran levels, the Elite level rewards are not reset after 6 months, so they can be applied to another character.
  • • As with the regular Veteran levels, the individual rewards can be seen in the tooltips from the respective levels in the veteran system.

[h3]Further information:[/h3]
  • • The published Elite levels are only available until 21st April. After that, no further Elite levels can be reached by activating Gold Packs (30 days).
  • • Your existing Elite rewards remain available to you. These can be viewed and assigned to an individual character in the section ‘Elite Rewards’ under ‘Manage bonuses’.
  • • In the overview you can still see which and how many Elite levels you have achieved during this time.
  • • A countdown shows how long the Elite level period has to run.
  • • Any Elite rewards from earlier events that are still in your mailbox will not be exchanged.

Full details and rules surrounding the Veteran system can be found here in our FAQ.

We wish you lots of fun levelling your hero!

The AION Team

THE SHUGO GAME

A small mining colony on the coast has recently reported a haul of Odians and polishing stones. Unfortunately it seems this surge in treasure isn’t unrelated to the increase in monster activity in the region. In desperation, the mine’s manager has now called upon brave Daevas to aid them in their endeavours.

Running: 10/3 to 7/4

The Black Cloud Merchants are again running their popular Shugo Game in which you can win valuable prizes – including items such as the [Rune] Transformation Contract: Tiamat, Class S Minion Contract (10 types) and [Motion Card] Wish Lantern.

To take part, you will need Shugo Game Tokens, which you can purchase in the shop from 10th March. During the event period you will receive three Shugo Game Tokens for free in the AION Shop.

[h3]How the Shugo Game Works[/h3]
  • Open the Shugo Game by clicking on the Shugo symbol at the bottom-right side of the screen.
  • Then, by clicking on ‘Continue’, the game will start and a Shugo Game Token will be used up.
  • Try to upgrade the weapon to the maximum level (8) to then earn reward of the highest level.
  • Naturally you can click on ‘Stop’ at any time to end the game and collect the reward for the level that you have attained.
  • The upgrading can also fail. Should this happen, you will receive the reward for level 1. If you wish to start from the beginning, you will need another Shugo Game Token.
  • By using Shugo Game Tokens, the upper bar fills with Shugo Game Points. Once it is full, the Nyerk Fever begins. As long as this is active, your chances of successfully upgrading increase and it is more likely that you will win more valuable prizes.

[h3]Notes[/h3]
  • On 7th April, the [Jakunerk] Shugo Game Tokens and Lucky Coins will be removed from the AION Shop, but the Shugo Game will continue until 14th April, giving you more time to consume the items you’ve purchased.
  • You will automatically be given the prize for the level that you got to if you log out or switch to a different character while participating in the Shugo Game. The game cannot be continued.
  • If you reach level 6 or higher and the upgrade fails, you will be able to use two additional Shugo Game Tokens to try again from the level that you failed at.

The Veiled Merchant

A mysterious veiled merchant has appeared in the fortresses of Gelkmaros and Inggison. He’s offering fantastic transformation contracts to the Daevas, but only in exchange for Transformation Coins. Rumour has it that he has a magical talent, giving him the ability to swing transformation fusions to the benefit of the Daevas.

The most valuable goods he has on offer include the [Rune] Ultimate Special Box of Challenge, Transformation Contract: Israphel’s Apostle and [Rune] Legendary Transformation Contract (10 types).

Running: 17th February to 10th March

[h3]How It Works[/h3]
Get some Transformation Coins from the AION Shop and exchange them for specific or random transformation contracts from the Veiled Merchant.

The Transformation Coins can be purchased individually or in bundles, with the following packs available:
  • [Rune] Box with a Special Transformation Coin
  • Small Transformation Coin Pack
  • Large Transformation Coin Pack
  • Medium Luxury Transformation Pack
  • Large Luxury Transformation Pack
  • Legendary Luxury Transformation Pack

During the event you can also take advantage of the Veiled Merchant’s special power:

During transformation fusion it isn’t possible to lose a level. If you fuse two or more ancient transformations, you’ll either get an ancient or legendary transformation. The chance to get the better transformation is slightly increased thanks to the Veiled Merchant’s magical aura.

Note: The following items will be removed from the game at the end of the event: [Rune] Ultimate Special Box of Challenge, [Rune] Box with a Special Transformation Coin and [Rune] Special Transformation Coin.

Assault on the Coastal Mine

A small mining colony on the coast has recently reported a haul of Odians and polishing stones. Unfortunately it seems this surge in treasure isn’t unrelated to the increase in monster activity in the region. In desperation, the mine’s manager has now called upon brave Daevas to aid them in their endeavours.

Running: 17th February to 10th March

[h3]How It Works[/h3]
Join the PvP event with up to 6 other players, hunting monsters, collecting materials and earning points. While trying to earn points yourself, you can also attempt to stop your opponents from doing the same. In reward you can look forward to items such as the [Event] Coastal Odian Chest, [Event] Special Transformation Contract (62 types) and [Event] Ancient Polishing Stone (7 days).

[h3]Instance Entry[/h3]
In order to enter the [Event] Attack on the Coastal Mine, simply click on the Request Entry button in the bottom right.
  • Instance can be entered once per day and is reset daily at 9 AM
  • Opening times are from 11 AM to 3 PM and 7 PM to midnight
  • All players level 80 and above can enter

[h3]The Start[/h3]
Once the instance starts, jump on the Mine Jet Ski waiting at the pier and let the battle commence.

[h3]The Battle[/h3]
Collect points either for killing monsters or collecting Drakan Opals. Stop your enemies from doing the same, and ward off their attacks. With any luck, you may even uncover an [Event] Coastal Odian Chest while collecting Drakan Opals.

[h3]Collecting Rewards[/h3]
The more points you earn, the better your rank, and the better your rewards too. Check the reward list for a full overview.

Note: The following items will be removed from the game at the end of the event: [Event] Coastal Odian Chest, [Event] Drakan Opal Shard, [Event] Drakan Diamond and [Event] Coastal Mine Treasure.

Valentines Day: Chocolate and Pirates

The dotty pirate couple Baron and Lady Baroka have arrived in Gelkmaros and Inggison, and are exchanging their wares for Rukibuki Coins. Not only that, but a strange Daevan Chocolate Citadel has been sighted! Monsters have been carrying large quantities of chocolate with them ever since, which can be exchanged for valuable items at the tower.

Get ready for an event that’s got some fantastic rewards in store, such as the Locked Selection Box of Hanbok Pixel Transformation Contracts, the [Rune] Vision Weapons Chest and the [Event] Selection Box with an Engraved Ultimate Manastone.

Event timeframe: 10/2 to 3/3

[h3]Have Yourself Some Chocolate[/h3]
There are three ways of obtaining chocolate:
  • Hunt monsters in Gelkmaros and Inggison – they sometimes carry [Event] Ultimate Chocolate.
  • Complete the Lugbug Missions that are part of the event.
  • Stay logged in: For every hour you remain in the game, you’ll receive 5x [Event] Ultimate Chocolate (max. 20 per day).

[h3]Complete Lugbug Event Missions[/h3]
Complete the daily Lugbug Missions within the event and you won’t just get some much sought-after chocolate, but you’ll also receive Rukibuki Coins as a final reward! You’ll find the monsters you need to defeat in Gelkmaros or Inggison – the more the better:
  • Defeat 300 monsters and get 5x [Event] Ultimate Chocolate.
  • Defeat 500 monsters and get 10x [Event] Ultimate Chocolate.
  • Defeat 700 monsters and get 15x [Event] Ultimate Chocolate.
  • Defeat 1000 monsters and get 20x [Event] Ultimate Chocolate.

Smashed it in the event’s daily Lugbug Missions? Then you can look forward to your final reward:
  • For levels 1 and 2, you’ll receive 5x [Event] Rukibuki Coins for each.
  • For level 3, you’ll receive 10x [Event] Rukibuki Coins.

[h3]Exchange Your Rukibuki Coins[/h3]
To get hold of some Rukibuki Coins, you’ll first need to go and see Baron and Lady Baroka with 10x [Event] Ultimate Chocolate and 500,000 Kinah; they will give you some items in return. These items can be exchanged at the Chocolate Citadel for 10 to 50 Rukibuki Coins.

Baron Baroka and Lady Baroka have all kinds of spoils from their thieving sprees locked away that you can buy, but you’ll need a key first. You can get these in the AION Shop:

Key for Locked Selection Box of Hanbok Pixel Transformation Contracts
[Rune] Legendary Transformation Contract (10 types)
