During the event you can get great items from the attendance list! The items can only be received once per account. The daily login counter is reset every day at 9 AM.

Please note: The attendance list counts the number of days logged in, not the date that you log in. For example, if you don’t log into the game on day 2 of the event, you’ll receive the item from day 2 if you log in on day 3, the one from day 3 on day 4 etc.

The Black Cloud Merchants are running their popular Shugo Game again! Play to win valuable prizes – including the [Rune] Transformation Contract: Azphel, Vintage Swim (Mount Acceleration), [Event] Extreme Weapon Selection Box and many more.

Running: 11th June (9 AM) to 10th July (9 AM CEST)

To take part, you will need Shugo Game Tokens which can be purchased in the shop until 3rd July. During the entire duration of the event, you’ll also get three free Shugo Game Tokens per week in the AION Shop.

[h3]How the Shugo Game Works[/h3]

• Click on the Shugo symbol at the bottom-right of your screen to open the Shugo Game.
• Then click on Continue to start the game. This will use a Shugo Game Token.
• Try to upgrade the weapon to its maximum level (8) to earn the highest-level reward.
• Any time you want, you can click on Stop to end the game and you’ll get the reward for the level you got up to.
• It’s also possible for upgrading to fail. Should this happen, you will receive the level 1 reward. If you want to restart the game, you’ll need another Shugo Game Token.
• Using Shugo Game Tokens fills the bar at the top with Shugo Game Points. Once it’s full, this triggers the Nyerk Fever. While active, your chances of successfully upgrading and of winning more valuable prizes both increase.

[h3]Notes[/h3]

• At the end of the event, the Lucky Coins will be removed from the AION Shop. The [Jakunerk] Shugo Game Tokens will be removed both from the AION Shop as well as the game.
• Logging out or switching characters while playing a Shugo Game will automatically give you the prize for the level you got up to. You cannot resume the game where you left off.
• If you reach level 6 or higher and the upgrade fails, you can use two additional Shugo Game Tokens to try again from the level you failed at.

Shiver me timbers! Cap’n Grogget, Commander of the Shulack Pirates, is back. The captain of perhaps the most notorious ship in all of Atreia, the Steel Rake, is seeking his revenge upon the Daevas! He has locked away some Shugos in the Steel Rake Fortress and it is now your job to free them. But be warned: you’ll need all the courage you can muster to survive this adventure.

It will be worth the effort for more than just the Shugos. Scoop up some amazing items during the event, including the [Rune] Major Rune Fragment Chest, [Rune] Special Transformation Contract: Little Lamb Hanbok (70 types), Pirate Captain’s Clothes and more!

[h3]Entering the Instance[/h3]

If you have reached level 80, you can enter the Steel Rake Fortress solo instance with each character once per day. Talk to Wasseronerk in the Inggison Fortress or Hatanerk in the Gelkmaros Fortress – they will grant you access to the instance. Entry will be reset every day at 9:00 AM (CEST).

[h3]Steel Rake Fortress[/h3]

Collect keys when storming the fortress to receive rewards. The more successful you are in the following tasks, the more keys you’ll get and the richer your rewards:

1. Battle your way into the fortress on a cool Jet Ski – it’s the only way to ride!
2. Rescue the Shugos from the clutches of the wicked bosses. The more Shugos you liberate, the more treasure chest keys you will receive at the end from Cap’n Grogget (1 key per freed Shugo).
3. After defeating Grogget, you’ll reach a secluded island, where you can receive the [Event] Freeze Frame from the treasure chests there.

[h3]Sales NPCs[/h3]

You will also meet two sales NPCs in the fortresses of Inggison and Gelkmaros: Yeoruming and Kikirinerk.

Yeoruming

Yeoruming will offer you [Event] Steel Rake Fortress Entry Coins and [Event] Noble Treasure Chest Keys for a certain amount of Kinah. The [Event] Noble Treasure Chest Keys are required for a particular chest which will appear on the solitary island in the Steel Rake Fortress after defeating Cap’n Grogget, and which contain the [Event] Freeze Frame in reward.

Kikirinerk

The [Event] Freeze Frames can be exchanged for many precious items from Kikirinerk, also available in the Inggison Illusion Fortress (Elyos) and Gelkmaros Fortress (Asmodians).

Please note

The event items [Event] Freeze Frame Bundle, [Event] Noble Treasure Chest Key, [Event] Steel Rake Fortress Entry Coin and [Event] Freeze Frame will be removed from the game after the event is over.

Two high-risk events and powerful rewards await: Beat the challenge in the Rift of Oblivion and reclaim Atreia’s Lost Treasures!

[h2] Event 1: The Rift of Oblivion[/h2]

Battle through the instance, defeat the boss and earn rewards! Prove that you’ve got the tactical skills necessary to survive the Rift of Oblivion. Use the power of nature to clear your path all the way to the final boss.

If you leave the battle victorious, you can expect fantastic rewards like the Luxurious Suit, [Event] Ancient Transformation Contract Selection Box, Ultimate Fragment of Memory and much more!

Running: 7th May (9 AM) to 11th June (8:59 AM CEST)

[h3]Enter the Rift[/h3]

The entrance to the instance is located in the fortresses in Gelkmaros and Inggison. You can enter the Rift of Oblivion once per day.

[h3]Defeat the Shadow of Oblivion[/h3]

Fight your way through the instance and defeat the final enemy: the Shadow of Oblivion! Your rank depends on the number of points you score and how much time is left. The better your rank, the higher your reward will be:

• 21,200 points and 18 minutes left → 4x Sealed Memory Bundle
• 17,700 points and 16 minutes left → 3x Sealed Memory Bundle
• 14,100 points and 10 minutes left → 2x Sealed Memory Bundle
• 9,400 points and 1 minute left → 1x Sealed Memory Bundle

[h3]Instance Tips[/h3]

Take our tips to heart and you’ll complete the Rift of Oblivion with flying colours:

• There are three Teleport Stones along the way through the instance which are activated when you approach them. If you fail and die, you can continue from the last Teleport Stone you activated.
• Recovering Drakan can be found throughout the instance. After you defeat one, there’s a chance that a Drakan will reappear which can score you a lot of points.
• The three Commander Gegares you’ll come across in the rift grant you massive amounts of experience, but they don’t earn you any points. So pick the right moment to fight them.
• The Shadow of Oblivion transforms when its health is low. Adapt quickly or it will win the upper hand.

Some monsters are of certain type which is weak against particular Old High Daevas:

• The Incarnation of Fire is strong against mage type enemies.
• The Incarnation of Water is strong against special type enemies.
• The Incarnation of Earth is strong against assassin type enemies.
• The Incarnation of Wind is strong against warrior type enemies.

[h2] Event 2: Atreia’s Lost Treasures[/h2]

The famous archaeologist Indiana Jonshunerk is currently travelling all over Atreia in search of various relics from a long forgotten age. He wants to concentrate on his work and avoid any conflict in the process, so he’s hiring brave Daevas like you! According to the rumours though, some monsters have gone on a rampage around the excavation site and stolen lots of ancient items. Help Indiana Jonshunerk to retrieve the relics and grab yourself lots of valuable rewards!

Running: 7th May (9 AM) to 11th June (8:59 AM CEST)

[h3]The Ruin Relics[/h3]

The lost treasures that you need to recover for Indiana Joshunerk come in 7 different levels. In archaeologist jargon, they’re called ‘Atreia Ruin Relics’. These relics contain even more treasure: the Atreia Ruin Relic (Level 1), for example, contains either the Atreia Ruin Relic (Level 2), an Atreia Ruin Relic Fragment or another item. The rewards you can receive increase with each level.

If you collect 10 Atreia Ruin Relic Fragments, you can combine these into an Atreia Ruin Relic (Level 1). You can get Atreia Ruin Relics from the AION Shop.

AION Classic is celebrating its 1st birthday: For a year now, the Classic version has taken the entire AION community by storm, and has even expanded it. Which is why we’ve decided to focus communications on our official Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch and X channels exclusively on AION Classic. These will also be renamed AION Classic Europe accordingly.

But we haven’t forgotten AION Live players: We’re very much aware that there is still a small yet loyal community of committed players, and we will continue to publicise all AION Live news on our website, official forums and Discord as usual.
