Running: 3rd August to 31st August

In search of summer decorations in a storeroom, a couple of Shugos stumbled upon a box with ‘Summer Cube’ printed on it. They found mysterious, glowing summer ice cubes inside. The cubes are imbued with a miraculous energy which grants their owners precious items – including the [Rune] Ultimate Transformation Random Box (6 types), the [Rune] Selection Box of DP Daevanion Skills, and the +8 Extreme Equipment Chest/Enchantment Stone.


[h3]Collect the Summer Cubes[/h3]
How to Get the Summer Cubes:

• In the AION Shop you can pick up 3 [Rune] Summer Cube (Level 1) 1x weekly per account for free.
• The Summer Cubes are available individually or in packs of 25: the ice-cold Summer Cube Box contains 20 level 1 cubes and 5 level 3 cubes.

[h3]Improve the Summer Cubes[/h3]
If you click on a cube, it will either be upgraded or you’ll receive a reward. Cubes come in levels 1 to 7. The items a cube bestows improve with each upgrade level. For example: the [Rune] Summer Cube (Level 1) contains either the Insignia of Experience or the (Rune] Summer Cube (Level 2).

Please note: The items [Rune] Summer Cube (Level 1 to 7) will be removed from the game after the event is over.

The summer is really hot even in Atreia! The Daevas, are thus excited about a refreshing cooldown in the water parks of Pandaemonium and Sanctum. The parks have a variety of activities for everyone, so that Atreia’s heroes can have fun and enjoy some well-deserved relaxation.



Running: 27th July to 31st August


[h3]Activity 1: The Grill Banquet[/h3]
Daevas attending the Grill Banquet can pick up strong buffs. Only one buff from one dish and one drink can be active. Each buff provides the corresponding advantages for 30 minutes after activation.

• Broiled Meat: This dish increases your HP by 900, your MP by 630 and your crit strike by 450 points.
• Plate of Vegetables: This dish increases your HP by 900, your MP by 630 and your crit spell by 450 points.
• Golden Drink: This drink increases your natural HP regeneration by 32 and your natural MP regeneration by 43 points.

[h3]Activity 2: The Entertainment Programme[/h3]
The water park has a wide range of entertainment activities:

• Rent a summer outfit from Starrinerk (the costume is discarded when you leave the capital).
• Click fun pictures at the water park.
• Play with fun beach balls, swimming rings and palm trees.
• Put on a colourful fireworks display.

[h3]Activity 3: Making Bingsu[/h3]
Bingsu is a traditional dessert with sweet red bean paste and ice shavings – the perfect treat on hot days at the water park! Indulging in a portion of Bingsu increases the hunting XP by 60% for 30 minutes.

• Step 1: Complete the daily ‘Just a Glass’ NPC quest and get [Event] Syrup and [Event] Red Beans.
• Step 2: Look for ice cream in the water park to get the [Event] Sugar Snow for your dessert recipe.
• Step 3: Combine the three ingredients in your inventory and your Bingsu is ready!

[h3]Activity 4: The Ultimate Cooldown[/h3]
Jump into the swimming pool at the water park and enjoy the ultimate cooldown. It’s not just refreshing; you also automatically get some experience.







Please note: The items [Event] Bingsu, [Event] Sugar Snow, [Event] Syrup and [Event] Red Beans will be removed from the game after the event is over.

[h3]Hero Battle[/h3]
The Hero Battle marks a new, exciting addition to our PvP systems! We’re removing most arenas and battlefields and replace them with the Hero Battle, where you can choose powerful, ready-made heroes to fight for glory and honour in special battle venues:

Arena of Chaos
Entry: Up to 8 players from level 1 can enter this Hero Battle. Times: Each Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from 12 PM to 1 PM, 7 PM to 8 PM, and midnight to 1 AM.

Arena of Cooperation
Entry: Up to 9 players (3v3v3) from level 1 can enter this Hero Battle. Times: Each Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 12 PM to 1 PM, 7 PM to 8 PM, and midnight to 1 AM.


[h3]Sprint Character[/h3]
Since the Sprint Character grants you a fully equipped level 80 Daeva, there is no need to level up the character manually, which allows you to go into battle straight away. This is especially interesting if you’re a new AION player – that way you can get playing without the least delay:

You can create a level 80 hero by clicking on the ‘Sprint Character’ button in the character selection (only once per account). This newly created character comes with some high-quality equipment so you can jump straight into the fray and advance quickly!


[h3]Aphsaranta Attendance Register[/h3]
Get a stamp for your Aphsaranta Attendance Register when playing and grab yourself amazing prizes. Receive additional benefits through your daily login bonus. You can claim your rewards daily (only once per account).


[h3]World Raid in Aphsaranta[/h3]
Fight for the Reian tribe and put the Balaur to flight. But be on your guard, there are dangerous new enemies waiting for you: defeat the Apsu Corps scoundrels and their Attack Driller!

• All players from level 81 can enter this raid.
• The raid starts 12 hours after the world boss Adad has been defeated.
• The World Raid only starts in those bases that are occupied by Elyos or Asmodians.
• The raid runs for 15 minutes.
• The raid is over if the NPC who is trying to stop the Attack Drillers dies.

[h3]Aphsaranta Treasure Hunt[/h3]
Lake Pledge is now the site of the Aphsaranta Treasure Hunt. Only if you’re quick enough and use your abilities wisely will you be able to bag all the rewards. Have you got what it takes to sweep the board?

Special teleporters and Apsu’s Ruins Treasure Chests appear all throughout Aphsaranta – but only for 15 minutes. If you don’t find them during this time, try again in 14 to 20 hours when they suddenly reappear.

You’ll even receive a special buff the first time you open one of Apsu’s Ruins Treasure Chests. You can get more treasure chests if you use the special teleporter to reach the final destination.


[h3]Matchmaking Improvements[/h3]
Many players have wished for improvements to our matchmaking system, so here they are! Entering instances for PvP and PvE content will be easier than ever.

But that’s not all: get ready for further changes in Aphsaranta and in the Lugbug Missions. You can find the complete details on all changes in the patch notes.

Running: 6th July to 3rd August

Complete the Hero Trials and send the Granker King’s minions packing. You can look forward to rewards in the form of amazing items such as [Event] Selection Box of Hanbok Pixel Transformation Contracts (4 types), Legendary Bundle of Enchantment Stones, [Event] Shimmering Abyss Treasure.

You can take on two different Hero Trials which have to be completed:


[h3]The Invasion in Gelkmaros and Inggison[/h3]
Potcrabs and Sweaties have been spotted in Gelkmaros and Inggison! They must be Peons belonging to Debilkarim the Maker, who has formed an alliance with the powerful Granker King. It is now up to Daevas (level 76 and above) to nip this invasion in the bud:

• Stop the Potcrabs and Debilkarim in the 4-week quest [Event][Account] Potcrabs and Co.
• Every 4 days, put a stop to the Sweaties’ mischief in the quest [Event][Account] Sweaty Swarm!

[h3]The Daeva Fightback[/h3]
The Daevas are hunting down their enemies in retaliation for the insidious invasion. Assemble your comrades-in-arms (level 78 and above) and fight for the freedom of Atreia in 12 different weekly quests.

• Infiltration: Creep into your enemies’ territory, kill their monsters and conquer fortresses and gates.
• Raids: Defeat the world bosses in Balaurea.
• Attack and defence: seize control of the garrisons in Lakrum and defend the Winding Tower or capture the altars in Dumaha.

You can earn extra rewards once a week by completing 9 of the 12 available weekly quests.


[h3]Little Monster Guide[/h3]
To make it easier for you to find the monsters in these Hero Trials, we have compiled a brief guide to the monsters:

General Tips
→ Redclaw Potcrabs love being in water, whereas Sweaties feel at home anywhere.
→ The items Teleport Scroll Box: Neutral Dumaha Landing Site and Teleport Scroll Box: Neutral Lakrum Base can prove very useful for reaching the world bosses more quickly. Get them from the relevant Level 5 Glory Merchant.

Gelkmaros
→ Ragnarok usually appears on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Tuesdays.
→ Twist, Chieftain Ulagu, Elder Jora and Sassy Terdit appear several times a day.
→ Brigade General Suthran, Aegir, Pontecai, Votan and Bard appear daily.
→ Marchutan's Awakened Agent has been renamed to Mastarius and Raging Mastarius. Mastarius usually appears on Tuesdays and Fridays. Raging Mastarius usually appears on Saturdays.

Inggison
→ Omega usually appears on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Tuesdays.
→ Elder Zanuta, Elder Narikiki, Latzio Stoneheart and Captain Voltayre appear several times a day.
→ Brigade General Spatalos, Telemachus, Jiskur, Michalis and Tirins appear daily.
→ Kaisinel's Awakened Agent has been renamed to Veille and Raging Veille. Veille usually appears on Tuesdays and Fridays. Raging Veille usually appears on Saturdays.

Silentera Canyon
→ Strike Troop Commander Marakan, Protectorate Commander Trech and Mage Cohort Leader Rahodun appear several times a day.
→ Frenzied Debilkarim the Maker and Awakened Adjutant Anuhart usually appear on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Tuesdays.

Lakrum
→ Scout Leader Kabar, Scout Leader Paltan, Inspector Keprata, Major Hatsnich and Raging Rahulant appear several times a day.
→ Crazed Anomos usually appears on Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays and Tuesdays.

Dumaha
→ Captain Barikuda, Rudeboy Oderkwan, Sensitive Chuskin, Captain Fabelsag, High Priest Dunu and Zefirun appear several times on Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays and Mondays.
→ Pupuru, Yanohas, Rachmaga and Kadabra appear on Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays and Mondays.


[h3]Notes on the Hero Trials[/h3]
The Hero Trials marked ‘[Account]’ can only be completed once per account.

You can collect your rewards from the mailbox in the shop. You can assign them to a character from there (Manage bonuses → Allocatable rewards).

Defeated monsters count towards the quest if you have gained XP by killing them. If you die, you don’t get any XP, and the monsters you killed don’t count towards the quest.

Please note that there may be problems due to a high system load. This may lead to the Hero Trials window not being displayed or the quests taking some time to update. In this case, please wait for the system to complete all calculations in the background.

Since some monsters don’t count towards the quest, you might need to kill additional ones.

The items [Event] Jorgoth’s Half-Weapons Chest Fragment will be removed from the game at the end of the event.

Shuronerk is a passionate Ice Jewel collector, but she has unfortunately lost her precious jewel box to a pair of greedy little Shugos. She’s asking the Daeva for help getting back her fine Ice Jewels.

Help Shuronerk and get rewarded with precious items such as the [Rune] Holiday Transformation Box (16 types), [Rune] Selection Box of Class A, Level 4 Minion Contracts (5 types), as well as the [Rune] +5 Extreme Equipment Box!
[h3]How It Works:[/h3]
Swap the Ice Jewels with Shuronerk in Inggison or Gelkmaros for items of your choosing.

• The Ice Jewels can also be found in the AION Shop: Simply get the Ice Jewels Treasure or the Ice Jewels Chest.

Please note: All Ice Jewels will be removed from the game after the event is over.
