UPDATE 8.3 PREVIEW

AION 8.3 is coming soon! You can look forward to brand-new content and a raft of improvements to your favourite game!
Beefed-up PvP
Get hyped for a complete rework of one of our PvP systems: here comes the Hero Battle! We’re removing most arenas and battlefields, replacing them with the Hero Battle, where you can choose powerful, ready-made heroes to fight for glory and honour in special battle areas like the Arena of Chaos and the Arena of Cooperation.
Make Your Comeback
Players returning to AION from a creative break can get right back into the fray: the ‘Sprint Character’ event is back! Take advantage of this event and create a fully equipped level 80 hero, plunge into your Aphsaranta adventure and receive additional benefits through your daily login bonus.
Fight for Justice: The World Raid
Fight for the Reian tribe and put the Balaur to flight. But be on your guard, there are dangerous new enemies waiting for you! Your commitment to this PvE operation will pay off handsomely as it allows you to get hold of precious items.
The Aphsaranta Treasure Hunt
Lake Pledge is now the site of the Aphsaranta Treasure Hunt. Only if you’re quick enough and use your abilities wisely will you be able to bag all the rewards. Have you got what it takes to sweep the board?

DANGER IN GARDENER’S PARADISE

Greenhaven Garden has opened its gates for all Daevas to garden to their hearts’ content. The watering cans, spades and bags of organic fertiliser are waiting. But what’s that? Lots of different pests are trying to attack the plants, threatening this prestigious garden project – this can’t happen. Help the other Daevas to defeat the pests!

In this event you can pick up rewards such as the Mermaid Robe, the Marine Top and many more. Additionally, you can reap loads of experience points during this event!

Running: 1st June to 29th June
Greenhaven Garden
From level 80, you can enter the garden once per day by using the portal in the Gelkmaros Fortress or Inggison Illusion Fortress.

You can choose between two difficulty levels:
Normal: Recommended from level 80. You receive 1x [Event] Lotus Blossom for each saved plant.
Hard: Recommended from level 85. You receive 2x [Event] Lotus Blossom for each saved plant.
Save the Plants
As soon as you enter the garden, you’ll have to go after the pests to save the plants. A timer counts down from 60 minutes, displaying how much time is left.

Beautiful Greenhaven Fladia, Arbour Fladia, as well as marvellous Greenhaven Frightcorn and Arbour Frightcorn flourish in the garden. But pests like the Dukaki Thief and Greenhaven Tenaklu are attacking in several waves that you need to repel. You can use Combat Support to make a stand against the attacks.
Time to Harvest
Get harvesting once the plants have reached their Harvesting Stage. Depending on the difficulty level, each plant contains 1 to 2 lotus blossoms. You can exchange the blossoms for valuable rewards with the kind NPC Gymir. You’ll find him in the Gelkmaros Fortress or the Inggison Illusion Fortress.

Please note: The item [Event] Lotus Blossom will be removed from the game at the end of the event.

THE MYSTERIOUS MOONFLOWER

During the last full moon night, mysterious moonflowers grew all over Atreia. The Daevas are very interested in collecting these flowers since they grant them decisive advantages!

Join the Daevas on the hunt for moonflowers and grab items such as the +10 Extreme Weapons Box, the Cacklemoon Wings, the Ancient Polishing Stone and many more!

Running: 1st June to 29th June
Get Your Hands on the Moonflower
You can get hold of the Mysterious Moonflower by completing Hero Trials. The moonflower contains 1 of 3 random petals: [Event] Blue Moonflower Petal, [Event] Violet Moonflower Petal, or [Event] Yellow Moonflower Petal. Each petal has a reward in store for you.

More Mysterious Moonflowers are also available in the AION Shop – be sure to drop by!
Boost Your Strength With the Power of Moonflowers
You can get the [Event] Moonflower Berry from Blue and Violet Moonflower Petals. This small, inconspicuous berry holds within the mysterious power of the moonflower. Keep each one of them safe in order to complete all 6 ‘Power of Moonflower’ event collections. During the event, the collections grant you various useful boosts.
The Moonflower Hero Trials
In this event you can complete 5 Hero Trials quests. Travel through the lands and hunt monsters is specific regions.

Playable weekly:
[Weekly][Account] Hunting in the South-east
[Weekly][Account] Hunting in the North
[Weekly][Account] Hunting in the Underground

Playable once:
[Account] Atreia’s Hunter Part 1
[Account] Atreia’s Hunter Part 2

As a reward for completing the quests, you will receive various quantities of Mysterious Moonflowers.
Rewards
You can find an overview of all possible rewards in our list of rewards.
Notes on the Hero Trials
The Hero Trials marked ‘[Account]’ can only be completed once per account.

You can collect your rewards from the mailbox in the shop. You can assign them to a character from there (Manage bonuses → Allocatable rewards).

Defeated monsters count towards the quest if you have gained XP by killing them. If you die, you don’t get any XP, and the monsters you killed don’t count towards the quest.

Since some monsters don’t count towards the quest, you might need to kill additional ones.

Please note that there may be problems due to a high system load. This may lead to the Hero Trials window not being displayed or the quests taking some time to update. In this case, please wait for the system to complete all calculations in the background.

The following items will be removed from the game at the end of the event: [Event] Mysterious Moonflower, [Event] Blue Moonflower Petal, [Event] Violet Moonflower Petal, [Event] Yellow Moonflower Petal, [Event] Moonflower Pollen, and [Event] Moonflower Berry.

THE ELITE LEVELS ARE BACK!

Greetings, Daeva!

It’s that time again: AION is presenting a new round of Elite levels! This is your chance to gain some levels and rake in a lot of precious loot.

This time with new exciting Elite rewards such as the [Rune] Joker Chest: Noble Greater Transformations (9 types), [Event] Pledge Tablet, [Rune] Ultimate Spiked Weapons Selection Box and many more items.
The Elite levels work as follows:
• If you’ve reached Veteran level 80, each Gold Pack (30 days) used in the game increases your Elite level by 1.
 • Each Elite level you reach unlocks additional rewards which can only be assigned to one of your characters.
 • In contrast to the existing Veteran levels, the Elite level rewards are not reset after 6 months, so they can be applied to another character.
 • As with the regular Veteran levels, the individual rewards can be seen in the tooltips from the respective levels in the veteran system.
Further information:
• The published Elite levels are available until 20th July 2022. After that, no further Elite levels can be reached by activating Gold Packs (30 days).
 • Your existing Elite rewards remain available to you. These can be viewed and assigned to an individual character in the section ‘Elite Rewards’ under ‘Manage bonuses’.
 • In the overview you can still see which and how many Elite levels you have achieved.
 • A countdown shows how long the Elite level period has to run.

Full details and rules surrounding the veteran system can be found here in our FAQ.

Have fun levelling up on your adventures in Atreia!

ATREIA’S LOST TREASURES

The famous archaeologist Indiana Jonshunerk is currently travelling all over Atreia in search of various relics from a long forgotten age. He wants to concentrate on his work and avoid any conflict in the process, so he’s hiring brave Daevas like you! According to the rumours though, some monsters have gone on a rampage around the excavation site and stolen lots of ancient items. Help Indiana Jonshunerk to retrieve the relics and grab yourself lots of valuable rewards!

Running: 4th May to 1st June
The Ruin Relics
The lost treasures that you need to recover for Indiana Jonshunerk come in 7 different levels. In archaeologist jargon, they’re called ‘Atreia Ruin Relics’. These relics contain even more treasure: the Atreia Ruin Relic (Level 1), for example, contains either the Atreia Ruin Relic (Level 2), an Atreia Ruin Relic Fragment or another item. The rewards you can receive increases with each level.

If you collect 10 Atreia Ruin Relic Fragments, you can combine these into an Atreia Ruin Relic (Level 1).
The Hero Trials
Three Hero Trials are open to you during the event period in which you go hunting for monsters in different regions:
 • [Account] Research in Elysea and Asmodae: Protect Indiana Jonshunerk while he carries out his research in Elysea and Asmodae.
 • [Account] Research in Central Balaurea: Protect Indiana Jonshunerk while he carries out his research in Inggison and Gelkmaros.
 • [Account] Research in South Balaurea: Protect Indiana Jonshunerk while he carries out his research in Lakrum, Dumaha and Aphsaranta.

Completing all quests will complete the final quest ‘[Account] Indiana Jonshunerk’s Proud Bodyguard’, which rewards you with the following items:
[Event] Dark Tiger’s Robe, [Event] Dark Tiger’s Hair Jewellery, [Event] Tame Dark Tiger (30 days), [Event] Pledge Tablet, and Daevanion Trait Skill Book Box (10 types).
Loot in the Open World
Very special loot awaits you in the open world – pay a visit to the regions Gelkmaros, Inggison, Silentera Canyon, Dumaha, Lakrum, Red Katalam (North) and Aphsaranta and defeat the monsters! Sometimes the drop chance in some regions is better than in others.
Rewards
You can find an overview of all possible rewards in our list of rewards.
Notes
• The Hero Trials marked ‘[Account]’ can only be completed once per account.
 • You can collect your rewards from the mailbox in the shop. You can assign them to a character from there (Manage bonuses → Allocatable rewards).
 • Defeated monsters count towards the quest if you have gained XP by killing them. If you die, you don’t get any XP, and the monsters you killed don’t count towards the quest. Not all monsters count towards the quests. If that’s the case, kill a few more to reach your target.
 • The items [Event] Jorgoth’s Half-Weapons Chest Fragment, Atreia Ruin Relic (Level 1 to 7) and Atreia Ruin Relic Fragments will be removed from the game after the event is over.
