Strengthen your hero and benefit from increased enchantment chances for Stigmas and Daevanion skills in this event Plus, fusing 2 or more Legendary or Ancient Transformation Contracts won’t result in your contract receiving a lower level!

[h3]Stigmas[/h3]

The enchantment chances for Stigmas are slightly increased during the event. At level 9 the chance increases from 30% to 33%. At levels 10 to 12 the chance increases from 20% to 33%.


[h3]Daevanion Skills[/h3]

The enchantment chances for Daevanion skills are slightly increased when you use different Skill Books to enchant the skills.


[h3]Transformations[/h3]

If you combine 2 or more Legendary or Ancient Transformation Contracts during the event, the fusion can’t fail. So the transformation can’t revert to a lower level, and you’re guaranteed at least a contract of the level Legendary or Ancient.

Prove that you’ve got the tactical skills and fight your way through the Rift of Oblivion. Use the power of nature to clear your path all the way to the end boss. If you leave the battle victoriously, you can expect fantastic rewards like the [Rune] Transformation Contract: Marchutan, the [Event] ‘Stomach Butterflies’ Wings and the Combat Experience Extractor.

Running: 11th August to 1st September


[h3]Enter the Rift[/h3]
The entrance to the instance is located in the fortresses in Gelkmaros and Inggison. You can enter the Rift of Oblivion once per day – additional entries will cost a little Luna.


[h3]Defeat the Shadow of Oblivion[/h3]
Fight your way through the instance and defeat the final enemy: the Shadow of Oblivion! Your rank depends on the number of points you score and how much time is left. The better your rank, the higher your reward will be:

• 21,200 points and 18 minutes left → 4x Sealed Memory Bundle
• 17,700 points and 16 minutes left → 3x Sealed Memory Bundle
• 14,100 points and 10 minutes left → 2x Sealed Memory Bundle
• 9,400 points and 1 minute left → 1x Sealed Memory Bundle

[h3]Instance Tips[/h3]
Take our tips to heart and you’ll complete the Rift of Oblivion with flying colours:

• There are three Teleport Stones along the way through the instance which are activated when you approach them. If you fail and die, you can continue from the last Teleport Stone you activated.
• Recovering Drakan can be found throughout the instance. After you defeat one, there’s a chance that a Drakan will reappear which can score you a lot of points.
• The three Commander Gegares you’ll come across in the rift grant you massive amounts of experience, but they don’t earn you any points. So pick the right moment to fight them.
• The Shadow of Oblivion transforms when its health is low. Adapt quickly or it will win the upper hand.

Some monsters are of a special type which is weak against a certain Old High Daeva:
The Incarnation of Fire is strong against magical type monsters.
The Incarnation of Water is strong against special monsters.
The Incarnation of Earth is strong against Assassin Monsters.
The Incarnation of Wind is strong against Warrior Monsters.

Master Jorunerk’s secret disciple, Nordrinerk, has recently left his hiding place and challenged the Daevas to a crafting competition. The winner gets Jorgoth’s Weapon as a prize!

One more thing, Baldach has once again found his way to Gelkmaros and Inggison and has a task ready for which the Daevas will be rewarded with the book formulae: Divine Protection and (Improved) Divine Protection.

[h3]Crafting with Nordrinerk[/h3]
Nordrinerk is offering you two crafting options in exchange for materials:

• An attempt to craft the Magnificent Equipment Casket: You will need 11x Legendary PvE Enchantment Stones and 1x Jorunerk’s Hammer. If the attempt fails, you get 4x Legendary PvE Enchantment Stones.
• An attempt to craft the Jorgoth’s Half-Weapons Chest: You will need 4x Legendary PvE Enchantment Stone and 1x Jorunerk’s Hammer. If the attempt fails, you get 1 Jorgoth’s Half-Weapons Chest Fragment. If you combine 10 Chest Fragments, you get Jorgoth’s Half-Weapons Chest. (Please note that only tradeable Legendary PvE Enchantment Stones can be used.)

[h3]The New Recipes for Magical Crafting[/h3]
Seven more recipes for Magical Crafting are available at this event. Most of these require the items Master’s Mysterious Stone and Jorunerk’s Hammer, that are exclusively available at the AION Shop.

[h3]The Quest of the Sky Power[/h3]
Find Baldach in the Inggison Illusion Fortress or the Gelkmaros Fortress: he has a special task for you! Completing the quest requires that you use the Sky Power skill. In reward you’ll get the fragments of two book formulae: Divine Protection and (Improved) Divine Protection. You’ll get two fragments per weapon. (For the normal ability you need 2 of the standard fragments and for the improved ability you need 3 of the better fragments.)

The quests can be completed only once per character. If you’ve already done them in the past, Baldach won’t offer them again.

The Black Cloud Merchants are again running their popular Shugo Game in which you can win valuable prizes – including items like the Lord’s Transformation Contract (2 types), the Flying Saucer and the [Emotion Card] Selfie.



Running: 4th August to 25th August

To take part, you will need Shugo Game Tokens, which you can purchase in the shop at the beginning of the event. During the event period you will also receive three Shugo Game Tokens per week for free in the AION Shop.


[h3]How the Shugo Game Works[/h3]

• Open the Shugo Game by clicking on the Shugo symbol at the bottom-right side of the screen.
• Then, by clicking on ‘Continue’, the game will start and a Shugo Game Token will be used up.
• Try to upgrade the weapon to the maximum level (8) to then earn reward of the highest level.
• Naturally you can click on ‘Stop’ at any time to end the game and collect the reward for the level that you have attained.
• The upgrading can also fail. Should this happen, you will receive the reward for level 1. If you wish to start from the beginning, you will need another Shugo Game Token.
• By using Shugo Game Tokens, the upper bar fills with Shugo Game Points. Once it is full, the Nyerk Fever begins. As long as this is active, your chances of successfully upgrading increase and it is more likely that you will win more valuable prizes.

[h3]Notes[/h3]

• On 25th August, the [Jakunerk] Shugo Game Tokens and Lucky Coins will be removed from the AION Shop, but the Shugo Game will continue until 1st September, giving you more time to consume the items you’ve purchased.
• You will automatically be given the prize for the level that you got to if you log out or switch to a different character while participating in the Shugo Game. The game cannot be continued.
• If you reach level 6 or higher and the upgrade fails, you will be able to use two additional Shugo Game Tokens to try again from the level that you failed at.

The water park in the capitals is still open and to offer Daevas some hard-earned refreshment. But the summer heat has awakened the Fire Spirits which are gathering throughout Atreia. The spirits are spreading flames everywhere they go, and the Atreian Fire Brigade has their hands full extinguishing all the fires. The Fire Spirits are using the chaos to their advantage to set even more fires. If Daeva doesn’t act now, all of Atreia could go up in flames!

Give us a hand in putting an end to the havoc caused by the Fire Spirits’ and look forward to rewards like the Transformation Contract: Ereshkigal, the Nautical Suit (Return) and the [Event] Vision Weapons Selection Box!

[h3]Extinguish the fire[/h3]
Collect Splashies needed to fight the Fire Spirits:

• • Daily login: stay logged in for 1 hour to get 1x [Event] Splashy (max. 5 per day). If you stay logged in for 3 hour you get 3x [Event] Splashy (max. 1 per day)
• • Brandinerk: This NPC offers you 15x [Event] Splashy daily for a price of 800,000 Kinah each.
• • Lugbug missions: complete the Lugbug missions and get more Splashies.

[h3]Hunting the arsonists[/h3]
Use your Splashies to take out the Fire Spirits. Get rewarded with the [Event] Fire Brigade Gift and the [Event] Volunteer Fire Brigade Gift Box.

Little Spirit Guide

Our scouts have put together this Little Spirit Guide to help you identify the evil doers. Please note that the monsters only count for the player who dealt the most damage. So it’s recommended that you go hunting alone.

• • You can find Ember Monsters in Gelkmaros and Inggison Your attacks deal 1 damage. You need 1 Splashy to defeat them.
• • Fire monsters appear in Gelkmaros and Inggison daily between 8 PM and 9 PM. Your attacks deal 1 damage. You need 3 Splashies to defeat them.
• • The Awakened Flame appears on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 9 PM and 10 PM in 1 to 3 possible locations in Gelkmaros and Inggison.
