Running: 2/9 to 30/9

It could have been a peaceful festival to celebrate the 11th Daeva Day, if only it weren’t for Tiamat’s Apostle and his sinister plans! Hordes of Flaming Smelly Clodworms are infiltrating instances and other dark henchmen are inciting monsters all over Atreia into getting aggressive. On top of that, strange boxes have washed up on all sorts of beaches and riversides… that definitely can’t be a good sign. One thing’s for certain: if the Daevas still want to celebrate in proper style, they’ll have to get all this monster case in order first! There’s still a ray of light though, because with all these monsters there’s a whole lot of loot to get your hands on too!

[h3]The Hero Trials[/h3]
Complete the Hero Trials and send all the monsters unleashed by Tiamat’s Apostle packing. The rewards awaiting you include the [Event] Dreamscape Gift Box, a Transformation Contract: Tiamat's Apostle, the [Event] Balaurea Odian Chest and more!

Complete the requisite quests and defeat special enemies to master the Hero Trials. There are daily and weekly quests. These are available for players of levels 76-80 and can be played in groups.

Seek out your opponents at the following locations:

• Weekly quests: Chests Lost in the River
  • Oriel, Poeta, Heiron and Inggison (Elyos)
  • Pern, Ishalgen, Beluslan and Gelkmaros (Asmodians)
• Daily quests: Defeat Flaming Smelly Clodworms and other dark henchmen in Atreia and the following instances:
  • Monday: Ashunatal Dredgion
  • Tuesday: Runatorium
  • Wednesday: Stella Development Laboratory (easy)
  • Thursday: Esoterrace
  • Friday: Lower Udas Temple
  • Saturday: Prometun’s Workshop (normal)
  • Sunday: Beninerk’s Manor (easy)

[h3]Rewards[/h3]
In addition to the rewards for completing the daily/weekly quests, you’ll also receive bonus rewards for completing a certain number of Hero Trials.

In order to rake in all you can for these quests, you’ll need to complete the daily/weekly quests with the same character.

The quest rewards are divided up as follows:

• 11 of 32 quests completed
• 20 of 32 quests completed
• 29 of 32 quests completed

In our Honour and Glory Event you can enjoy daily and weekly quests to increase your Field Glory. At certain Field Glory Levels you can pick up limited event items – including [Rune] Nabaru’s Fruit, Triniel’s Apostle Transformation Fragment and [Event] Noble Odian Expansion Box!


[h3]An Arctic Threat[/h3]
The war between Daevas and Balaur has left its mark in Balaurea. Many forests, once home to the Elim, have been destroyed. It was only thanks to the aid of the ancient Elim Baltasar that the worst could be avoided, by defending certain lands from the encroaching Balaur undead.

Yet now a new peril threatens to break upon the land: an icy wind portends destruction and carries the people’s cries for help. Frozen and Winter Agrints are overrunning Gelkmaros, Inggison, Lakrum, Dumaha and Red Katalam, and only the Daevas of destiny can beat them back!


[h3]Aid for the Elim[/h3]
In order to support the Elim, you’ll need to complete daily and weekly quests.

• Meet Nabaru and Alrunta in Gelkmaros and Inggison.
• Talk to Neligor in Lakrum.
• Find Lodas in Dumaha.
• Help Lidimtas in Red Katalam.

Each Elim has two types of quest for you:

• Daily quests can be collected 3x. Your opponents in this case are Frozen Agrints.
• Weekly quests can be played 1x per week and pit you against Winter Agrints.

You’re rewarded for completing quests with Nabaru’s Fruit to increase your Field Glory Level.


[h3]Field Glory Levels[/h3]
Alrunta has additional quests for you once you reach Field Glory Levels 3, 5 and 7. These reward you with Odian fragments or Odians. You can also purchase additional items from Elim in Lakrum, Dumaha and Red Katalam once you’ve reached the aforementioned levels.

[h3]Ultimate Evil[/h3]

Head into battle as Ereshkigal or Tiamat! These evil Dragon Lords are two new ultimate transformations.




[h3]Back Seat Adventuring[/h3]

With the new Combat Support system, you can let your hero pick up items for you – fierce handy! Simply start the Combat Support option and kick back.




[h3]Even More Fun[/h3]

Thanks to player feedback, you can look forward to improved instance merchants. Plus there’s a whole host of new Lugbug missions, cubelets, Odians and runes to explore. Check it out today!

You can now plumb the depths of evil with our new ultimate transformations – transform into one of the two sinister Dragon Lords, Ereshkigal or Tiamat!




[h3]Combat Support[/h3]

So much loot and no time to collect it! Know that feeling? Then check out our Combat Support system and let your hero do all the heavy lifting!

• Stop/start the feature with a simple click of the Combat Support button.
  
• Set up which skills your hero should use – you can choose up to 5.
  
• In the settings you’ll also find options for recovery.
  
• In a special window you can watch your combat stats and gathered goodies in real time.
  

[h3]Game Changes[/h3]

We’re always extremely grateful for player feedback, and in the past you’ve sent us a lot of suggestions to update our instance merchants. In update 7.6 we’re putting these changes into action. Plus you can also look out for new Lugbug missions, cubelets, Odians and runes!

[h3]The Playing Cards[/h3]

There are 24 different playing cards in total, each with different symbols and split into 4 suits: clubs, hearts, diamonds, and spades. Each suit includes an ace, king, queen, jack, 10 and a joker. Collect various different combinations of cards to win valuable prizes.

[h3]Cards Overview[/h3]


During the event, you’ll receive one free playing card in the shop per account per day. Only characters who have reached level 65 are eligible for free cards.


You can give yourself a better chance of winning by buying extra cards from the AION Shop. Card are available individually or in packs of 24 or 100.


Please note:

• The cards are generated at random – you might see some a lot, and others only rarely.
  
• Accounts created after 11th August are not eligible for these free card giveaways.
