A long time ago, the Grankers helped the Shugos bring gifts to people who were lonely every year at Solorius. Piles of packages were tied to the Grankers' tackle. The Grankers never complained though, they carried this heavy load for the Shugos.

But then one winter's day, just as a snowstorm was gathering, a Granker broke free of its tackle. He kicked about, fled and took the presents with it that were destined for Daevas in need. From that day, he called himself the 'Red Nose Granker King'.

This year, the Grankers are wandering through Daeva and Lakrum – this is the Daevas' chance to get back their valuable gifts.

Set off on a treasure hunt to chase down the Grankers and their king. Enticing rewards are waiting for you, like the Ultimate Etium, the [Event] Ultimate PvE Enchantment Stone and the [Event] Granker Equipment Chest!



You can get all the details about the Granker hunt from Gluttonous Golden Saam in Sanctum or Greedy Golden Saam in Pandaemonium.


Treasure Maps:
You won't find any treasure without a Treasure Map! The treasure is well hidden – you won't find anything more than heaps of Grankers without the [Event] Torn Granker Treasure Map.

How do get the coveted Treasure Maps:

• Log in each day and receive 1 Treasure Map (max. 12 per day).
• Complete various missions for Lugbug.
• Hunt Red Nose Grankers and with any luck they might drop a Treasure Map.

Combine 10 Treasure Maps and you'll receive the [Event] Unknown Granker Treasure Map.

Help from archaeologists:
The archaeologist Ionion in Stellusia (Dumaha) will help you study the Treasure Maps and then give you the [Event] Bundle of Granker Treasure Maps.
This bundle contains various grades of Treasure Maps (common, ancient, legendary, ultimate and special) that will challenge you with a puzzle. Solve it to find the treasure (the archaeologist's books will definitely help you here).

Track down the treasure:
Once you've solved the puzzle, you'll find the treasure's secret location in Dumaha. Are you in the right place? Great, then right-click on the map and the treasure will reveal itself.



A treasure chest is only a proper treasure chest if it's locked! That means you need the right key:

• During the event weekend you can get 1x [Event] Bundle of Granker Treasure Chest Keys per account from the AION shop for free!

In Dumaha, you can buy keys with Kinah:

• Doaranerk, the former Lockbuster in Stellusia, has a decent number of keys among their wares.
• Solorurerk, the black market trader, has even more keys you can buy and also offers a 25% discount. You must have conquered the 9th, 10th and 11th altars beforehand, however.

The Red Nose Grankers don't give up their Granker Treasure Chests so easily: defeat them and get [Event] Red Nose Granker Horn as a reward.

The antler expert Bakaki in Stellusia will give you special event skills in return for the horns. (You can purchase up to 10 skills per day. They can only be used on certain types of opponents and are limited to certain areas.)

The event skills are:

• [Event] [Skill Orb] Aether's Hold

The Red Nose Granker King is mad that the Daevas are after the treasure. You run into him 2x daily at 9:30 PM and 11 PM in the eastern part of the Suhara Desert. We recommend 48 players in order to defeat his majesty (he really is raging mad!).



As well as the [Event] Torn Granker Treasure Map you get additional free items when you log in daily:

• You receive an [Event] Ancient Granker Treasure Map Chest 1x daily for 3 hours.
• You receive an [Event] Legendary Granker Treasure Map Chest 1x daily for 6 hours.
• You receive an [Event] Bundle of Granker Treasure Chest Keys 1x daily for 4 hours as well as an additional bundle for 4 hours.
• For 5 hours you receive an [Event] Mysterious Legendary Transformation Contract Fragment. You can combine 20 of these with the [Event] Legendary Transformation Contract Alchemy Reagent (free 1x daily in the AION shop) to craft an [Event] Legendary Transformation Contract (10 types) (7 days).

Santa Shugo has spared no trouble in laying the cards on the table again this year:

Collect various combinations of playing cards and win yourself some great prizes - including[Rune] Transformation Contract: Marchutan, Hero's Legendary Noble Steed, and [Event] Night Owl Costume Box!


There are 24 different playing cards in total, each with different symbols and split into 4 suits: clubs, hearts, diamonds, and spades. Each of these categories contains an ace, king, queen, jack, 10, and a joker. Collect lots of different combinations of cards to win valuable prizes.


During the event, you'll receive one free playing card in the AION Shop per account per day. Only characters who have reached level 30 are eligible for free cards.

You can give yourself a better chance of winning by buying extra cards from the AION Shop. Available in packs of 24 or 100.

Please note:

• Be aware that the cards are generated at random - you might see some a lot, and others only rarely.
• Accounts created after 3/12/2019 are not eligible for these free card giveaways.

Legend has it that the Wise Dragon King rose out of a rift in the Abyss of Ruin to support in battle those who prove worthy.

Your time has come: embrace the power of the Wise Dragon King! Get a Wise Dragon’s Weapon and use Enchantment Stones, Slot Stones and Dragon Sand to upgrade it! Depending on the mission, you’ll receive a Wise Dragon King’s Weapon or a Wise Dragon King’s Mysterious Weapon (Rage)/(Blessing)/(Protection).



Also take a sneak peek at the final crystalline wonder! You can buy a 5-minute test version from Sterlic, the Wise Dragon King’s mysterious recruiter in Stellusia, Dumaha, and behold the Wise Dragon King’s Mysterious Weapon (Rage)/(Blessing)/(Protection).



Obtain a Wise Dragon’s +5 Weapons Chest in exchange for 30 Legendary PvP Enchantment Stones (from Puyck) or 30 Legendary PvE Enchantment Stones (from Vuyck). The chests have a random chance of containing a legendary weapon.

• [Rune] Wise Dragon’s +5 Weapons Chest (Rage)
• [Rune] Wise Dragon’s +5 Weapons Chest (Protection)
• [Rune] Wise Dragon’s +5 Weapons Chest (Blessing)

To upgrade a legendary weapon, you’ll have to enchant them to +15 and open the 3 manastone sockets. The upgrades can be carried out in Lakrum by visiting the Equipment Enchanter Eburk (Asmodian) or Exigon (Elyos).



Kinah is required for this upgrade. Your weapon will then have the following properties:

• Level: Ultimate
• Dragon animation

Kinah and 100 Mysterious Dragon Sand are required for this upgrade. You can obtain the sand from the Fight for Dumaha’s Drakan Opals event or by extracting it from Wise Dragon’s Weapons or Wise Dragon King’s Mysterious Weapons (unused sand can be transformed into Wise Dragon King’s Wings).
Your weapon will then have the following properties:

• Level: Ultimate
• Dragon animation
• Appearance skill: Power: Wise Dragon King's Rage, Power: Wise Dragon King's Protection, Power: Wise Dragon King's Blessing

The incessant conflict in Dumaha is leading the Elyos and Asmodians to believe that the energy sources will soon run dry. Spurred to action, the Daevas hunt down the energy resources and discover that the Rega Drakans have been mining a special mineral in secret locations.

Commanders of both the Elyos and Asmodian forces decide to exploit this promising resource with the help of the Stella Corporation, further exacerbating the conflict between them!

Help your faction to gather Drakan Opals, and prevent your opponents from replenishing their energy reserves. Exchange the loot for precious items, such as the [Event] Ultimate Splen Equipment Chest, the [Event] Ultimate PvP Enchantment Stone (7 days), the [Event] Box containing an Engraved Ultimate Manastone and the [Event] Monk's Habit!



Here’s how it works: Destroying the Winding Towers
You’ll find Winding Towers which need to be destroyed strewn throughout Dumaha. With a bit of luck you can earn yourself a Drakan Opal or a Rega Treasure Chest. Reinforced Winding Towers may even provide a Rega Glory Chest.
The Winding Towers are well-built structures, so you’d do well to get yourself an [Event] Tunnel Explosive in the Gold Sand shop to be more effective in destroying them.

To Catch a Thief
The Opal Thief Shukiruk is lurking around Dumaha. If you defeat him in combat, you can take his Drakan Opal off him (don’t feel bad about it, he stole it after all!)

Lugbug Missions
Complete various missions by destroying the Winding Towers and stopping the enemy faction doing the same.



The faction with the highest score for PvP victories (1 kill = 1 point) and gathering energy resources (1 Opal = 1 point) will win the struggle for control of Dumaha’s Drakan Opals.

Members of the winning faction will each be rewarded with 1x [Event] Bright Abyss Treasure, while the losing faction members earn Lugbug's Glimmering Treasure (7 days).



There are two options for the Drakan Opals you gather:

• Exchange the Opals for rewards from the Guardian Crisis Consultant (Elyos) or Archon Crisis Consultant (Asmodian).
• Look for Mister McByver (Elyos) or Mister McDyver (Asmodian) and use the Opals and a bit of Kinah to perfect the items you receive.

Winter is coming, you doubtless can’t wait for the festive period to kick in. Then look forward to a new round of elite levels! It’s the perfect way to pass the time, charging up the levels and earning some cool rewards:

This time around we have some new Elite Rewards available including the [Rune] Legendary Transformation Contract (10 types), the Luna Gold Chest, the Ultimate Bundle of Enchantment Stones and many more great items.



The Elite Levels work as follows:

• If you’ve reached Veteran Level 80, each Gold Pack (30 days) used in the game increases your Elite Level by 1.
• Each elite level you reach unlocks additional rewards which can only be assigned to one of your characters.
• In contrast to the existing veteran levels, the elite level rewards are not reset after 6 months, so they can be applied to another character.
• As with the regular veteran levels, the individual rewards can be seen in the tooltips from the respective levels in the veteran system.

Note: The published elite levels are available until 15th January 2020. After that, no further elite levels can be reached by activating Gold Packs (30 days).

• Your existing Elite Rewards remain available to you. These can be viewed and assigned to an individual character in the section ‘Elite Rewards’ under ‘Manage bonuses’.
• In the overview you can still see which and how many elite levels you have achieved.
• A countdown shows how long the elite Level period has to run.
